This is what I'm thinking, too. In my 5K celebration fic I tried to really emphasize the cold I figured it would be quite biting for someone used to the milder Free Marches, too.
Josephine does complain about the cold in one of the banters; Cullen just says he's worried about draughts blowing papers everywhere.
one topic I finally found a way to get my fan fic written to where I will want it put although I'll prob have to do lots of editing still better than non
That's awesome! I'm in the process of editing mine too. It doesn't really matter how good any of these are in the end though. The fact that we're all banding together to create our own personal masterpieces for page 5000 is just so wonderful! I'm going to fangirl over them ALL. (assuming that's for page 5000. either way I'm excited)

Honestly with everything he's been through, I think the cold is the least of Cullen's worries xD I'm not surprised at all that Josephine is irritated by it though. I expected her to pull out a huge fur coat during the Dawn Will Come scene.
Cullen is very strict to himself. I guess he never considered it prudent to take care of his own roof when he had so many other matters to attend to. If you're romancing him, there is also the added bonus of thinking of the roof as a "cold shower" of sorts. Something that keeps Cullen grounded when his thoughts wander to where he isn't sure he's allowed to go (yet).
It obviously complicates things once the romance progresses further. Can't use the sturdy desk forever and there are only so many excuses to invite your military advisor into your chamber before rumors start.

Thanks yeah this way of doing it may be a quick and dirty way of doing it,but darn it I figured that since I can't write it down without getting writers block I will use speech recognition to get it written down and go through with the editing once I get down. I've never written fan-fic before so it is going to be interesting.
I dunno, does it seem to anyone else that Skyhold is a bit protected (magically?) from the mountain weather? There's snow everywhere outside, and never a flake inside the walls. Everyone walks around in shirt sleeves and there's never any bad wind, just a nice breeze.
The way Morrigan spoke, I almost believe that the magic of the place gathered into an almost ambient spirit of sorts. A genius loci, if you will. And in some respects, I think that perhaps the magic of the fortress keeps away the bite of the mountain's weather.

IIRC, the quizzy's bedroom is also his/her office no?
Well...
"Inquisitor, I have a report for you. I'd rather hand deliver this to you and debrief you directly if you have a moment?"

He pretty much says exactly that in his report on locating Samson for judgement (I think - one of the Samson war table quests) if you are romancing him. Just another great detail to swoon over.

I'm thinking of that, he could just... come to see her in her "office". The fact that the office is also her bedroom can be considered irrelevant.
The commander seems to be getting older. All he's doing is ... paperwork...and yet it's rare not to seem him sweaty and slightly out of breath whenever he leaves the office.
So I recently bought all of the Dragon Age books and am currently rereading The Stolen Throne, and it got me thinking... Wouldn't it be really neat if the writers wrote a story that focused on one of Cullen's relatives? Like a sister or brother maybe. And it could take place during one or more of the games while Cullen is off doing his thing. I would like to think that his siblings are warriors of some kind or at least doing something other than running the family farm. Then in one of the future games they could be introduced as an NPC or a companion. Maybe even have an interaction between them and Cullen!

He's early to mid thirties right? Well, shouldn't a man still be in his prime around that? Maybe he's out of breath because of a certain beautiful someone who makes his heart jump a little?
Bwahahahahahahahaha good point any case, he needs to do jogging around Skyhold maybe.
Hey, you! You've been gone a while, everything alright there?
We're currently pulling the breaks to give everyone time to finish up their contributions, as the big 5k is almost around the corner. That's why it's been a bit slower than usual.
Not great, my relationship of 4 years ended so I've been sulking about that for a while lol. I'll survive though!

While I am glad that DLC is in development I hope it turns out to be more storytelling and character development rather than exploration. I don't know if exploration was truly Bioware's roots, I think the former is what built Bioware up.
And remember Xbone has a 1 month exclusivity to DLC...so...

And good lord I hope it's not just multiplayer. Every time they announced something new for ME3 and it turned out to be multiplayer I was like "well, crap...."
And hopefully folks on Xbone will be mindful of spoilers...I can't stand that exclusivity crap. Microsoft stands to make nice money off of Windows-based apps too. I saw a commercial for Xbone last night during the premier of The Walking Dead (OMG!) and remember commenting about how the price is dropping so fast. Me thinks they're not making as much off it as they though they would...the 360 stayed up in price for much longer. I paid $500 for my 360 in 2006, and $249 for a replacement in mid-2013...ugh it hurts just to think about it....
And to rope us back to Cullen, I give you Templar spec reactions:
I swear to God, there had better be some serious lore goodies or I'm gonna throw a fit. They have such good momentum with the Elven pantheon storyline.

I also hope the DLC is more focused on story than exploration. I'm not done with the exploration that's already in the game.
I'd love it if it was something related to Fen'Harel and the ending, but I think that's probably too much to hope for.
What I think would be a perfect DLC would be to add some major story elements to some of the exploration areas currently in the game. I know one of the big criticisms with DAI was that there were so many huge beautiful environments, but other than a bunch of random side quests they weren't tied into the main story very well.
