I NEED HELP!

I would be really grateful if one or two of you would read my poem for page 5000 and give me some pointers. I like what I've written, but poetry isn't my strong suit, and I think I could still enhance it a lot. If you want to help let me know and I'll PM you! :)

Also ninetozero, I am so glad you did that. I've never been against the fur, but he looks smokin without it!

So I tried~ to recolor Cullen's robes into a nice solid black and his pauldrons into a posh salt-and-pepper, just to see what it would look like, and...

Well, the good news is that I've finally succeeded in getting rid of the flufflies, at last.

The bad news is that....

....the rest of Cullen went away with it.

Science has gone too far. -_-

omg, that's great!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. The fluff would be OK, if it didn't have that same quality as BW hair - looks like it was left to the last minute to create with a 30 minute deadline... :P

Cullen is always standing at attention when our IQs are around him...or at least a part of him is.

My God, Elu and Ti have rubbed off on me.

Guilty as charged, and proud of it.

I continue to investigate! I think I've figured out what makes the fluffies disappear - just need to not apply it to the rest of the armor too. If I'm right about this, my next attempt should come closer to getting just the fluffies to go, so we can get a good look at dem swimmer shoulders. ;)

If you are able to do it, is it something you could send to all use PC users via mod???

Me thinks they're not making as much off it as they though they would......

They don’t make any money off the systems; they didn’t with the 360 either. It’s all in the games.

So I finally created a guy-quizitor I'm happy with...and forgot his scars... *hangs head in shame*

Let's hope I can re-create him...again...with scars this time...

And have another Cullen!

I KNOW! I thought she would be a rather fitting response.

How's that Ali hunt coming along?

haha I haven't been out much due to the nasty weather, so not great. But I actually did have a really vivid dream...two nights ago? And the one guy that I saw recently who looked exactly like him down to the spiked hair and stubble was in it and was like wait haven't I seen you before??!!! and I was like YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. and then we fell in love, rode off into the sunset together, lived happily ever after, yada yada yada. xD Haven't been nearly as successful with my Cullen hunt, which is weird bc I would've thought it would be easier to find his lookalikes than Alistair's.

That's the idea, yeah. ^_^ If I can make this work in theory, I'll polish a decent version out of it and post it as a public mod.

Am I the only one who doesn't use scars? :P I guess I like my characters to be too sexy for your Circle (sorry, that's the best I can do after an exhausting weekend... sister had her baby :)) But yeah I'm also the person who downloaded all the mods to make everyone in Skyrim pretty  And I'll probably eventually download the softer Cassandra mod >.>

In other news, I'm in the tavern right now, and overheard the tail end of a conversation between NPCs about Sera. One guy was asking something about her (???), and the girl said something like, she's not one of the magic elves, "She's just one of the normal dirty ones."

I was kind of shocked. In all honestly DAI has been kind of white-washed (to use a misplaced term) in regards to the usual Thedosian prejudices... not only is my elf inquisitor NEVER harassed (in fact the one time he might be, the horse master guy apologizes) and on top of that I pretty much never see prejudices against other elves / elven NPCs.

Just feels like something that was sorely lacking... to the point where I've been envisioning Haven / Skyhold / the inquisition as this uniquely progressive community, but seemingly this is not the case.

Aw, am I the only one that likes the fur pauldrons? But it is nice seeing his bod.  Damn, he really is my ideal sized man, if I may become completely shallow for a second.  Not too big, not too skinny - juuuuuust right.

*sigh*

@Curious, I just find that the scars add a much needed dose of realism.  These people are skilled in battle, it would be almost weird if they didn't have anything to show for it. I'm glad they included it.  But of course you don't hafta add them if you don't prefer them.

I think the guy who sells you stuff at Haven also says something like "I told that little knife ear to tell me when you woke up", but only if you are a human.  Also, there is some random banter where a guard apologizes to an elf cause Cullen made him do it (e.g., making it seem likt eh guard must have said something offesnive either to her or about her). But I agree...not nearly as explicit as in DAO and DA2...

It's weird...in DA2 everyone was a blood mage or a mage-hating tempar, with rare exceptions (in my opinion...this could, of course, be argued).  In DAI, everyone is a helluva lot more chilled (again, opinion).  I think the balance from DAO has been lost a bit...

I'm glad they included it, too... it's always good to have a choice ;) Plus not everyone is playing a battle-harded seasoned warrior. Both my Dalish have led relatively quiet lives, for instance. My Cadash has probably had a few nervy moments in her career as a thug queen :P er, Carta operative, but it's not beyond the realm of believability that she wouldn't be covered in scars.

Yeah... I hate to be repetitive, but I'm leaning towards the whole "the game was rushed" and "good writing gave way to an emphasis on exploration" thing again. Thedas is far more empty and less "flavorful" than I remember it. I WILL say they've done a better job with crowd sounds though. The tavern, Haven, Val Royeaux, they all have pretty good background noises and sound very populated (compare to Kirkwall... the silence was deafening lol). Could definitely use more NPCs though; the place sounds crowded but LOOKS dead. Then there's Bull's Chargers... I thought this was a huge mercenary group but I'm starting to think there are only like six people lol

Actually, I've been overhearing comments regularly. Now, often there's someone who slaps 'em for it, but yeah, I heard a number of comments on elves with my Dalish. And I'm not so wild about a few comments from Sera toward my dwarf about her height being cute. But very little happens directly in conversations.

Yes, I use scars, but you already know my preference for creating the non-conventional :P

You have to remember that DA:I is also on the old-gen consoles. They had to drastically cut down the crowds so those systems could handle them. DA:I would had been much better if it was only for current-gen and PC.

Ah, I love speaking German fluently and knowing amazing songs in two different languages.

Here is a nice German song for the Cullen romance:

You could also always imagine that your person wore a helmet and was good enough not to get it knocked off or bashed in too. And scars could always be on other parts of the body as well.

Repetitive as it may be, you're definitely correct with what you're saying. I'm just hoping that some of it will be fixed with the DLCs. And if not, hopefully they'll be as good about taking advice as after DA2 and will learn from their mistakes. :)

Pffffft this made me laugh  Ummm yeah I'd be happy imagining scars all over my Dalish's boy lovely body, so long as his equally lovely face is left clean

It's so unrealistic, but it's just something I've embraced. Like I said, in Skyrim I have all the mods that make everyone gorgeous and perfect lol Maybe I watch too much anime *rubs chin*

Tishina -- that's interesting!! I haven't heard any NPC comments against elves other than the one I reported. Well that's good to know. I'd also like more (negative) reactivity to my own race, but at least that's something.
