this is kind of embarrassing but I saw those new little Tinker Bell movies a few years back and Steve Valentine voices one of the fairies and I just about lost my $hit when I heard him xD

And good lawdy there's a reason that man is #1 on my list. I'm happily well into Season 4 of Supernatural and enjoying every second. Dean is one of my favorite fictional characters ever. That whole classic rock, gearhead, "everything is a joke," scruffed-out thing? My kryptonite...

Last time I played Awakenings and heard Anders for the first time I couldn't help but grin like a Cheshire cat. I loved Anders in Awakening - hated the direction he went in DA2. I was never a huge fan of his DA2 VA. 

 

So for my current playthrough I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to take my time with the "lull" in between Abyss and Wicked Hearts and work on completionist stuff and dragons...or should I speed-run just to get to sexy scene? 

 

Yeah I really love her style & palettes. It's just amazing, even in BW how she plays with the greyscale. Whew... Mindblowing. She also painted Bard from The Hobbit & it's really masterpiece. I like the way she makes it like it's a real oil painting.

 

About dragons & sexy time, you can always come back later for Dragons

I disagree that the scene was done for laughs - it could be funny, yes, but the point was to establish an extra level of connection between Cullen and the PC, to make him more likable, or at least more memorable ...  so that when the cage scene came along, it would be even more of an emotional gut punch. BioWare really liked doing that to their female PCs back in Origins - Tamlen, Gorim, probably more I'm forgetting - because they were EVIL. *ahem* I mean, because they really wanted their players to get invested in everything that was going on, and to really feel about the people involved. The fact that we're still talking about Cullen all these games and pages later is a testament to how good they were at their jobs.

TBH, I'm not quite so sure. The way Sheryl talks about writing him, it sounds like he started out as the random templar who had a crush on her, and only later they decided to make the cage guy him, too, because folks "like seeing people from their past." So the initial scene very well could've been written just to give a window into how awkward mage-templar relations can be, and the angst came later.

But that still doesn't give the artist exposure like it would for someone to click the link and go straight to the art and the artist's site... where they might like/fave the art, look at the artist's other stuff, etc. (which incidentally is what artists have asked to do )

Bear with me here, because I've been sick for like, days but have managed to be surprisingly productive at playing Inquisition while having a 100 degree fever. () Seriously, today I did all of the Western Approach, then Adamant, Perseverance, Caer Oswin, and then went to start up my romance with Cullen. I thought someone said you can ask him about his Templar vows up until the point you start your romance, but I lost that option somewhere and don't know when. I'm definitely not going back at this point, but I was curious when that option goes away.

We almost had to put our house up for sale and some not so fun stuff, husband's work going on strike and stuff....Anyways, I will be working from home starting in march so hopefully that pans out. But figured some of you were probably wondering what was going on. So yeah, mini update of sorts.

Yes, you can ask him about his vows (flirt) till sexy time. That option should be under the 'I want to know more about your templar life' or sth like that. But then, his responses are the same before/after the romance starts so it isn't a big loss, I guess.

Soooooo, has anybody gotten this during Wicked Hearts? When I first get there and ask Cullen if he has any updates, I always get the "I'm sure there's nobody here that doesn't have ulterior motives" line. What did I get this time? Well this is new to me! It's so cute how he almost chuckles to himself..."not you..."
