So I had a great day. Turned 32... But it was a good day thought id share that.
Happy Birthday
Glad you had a great day Vamp!
I'm back to share some pics of Eric Martsolf. I think he looks a bit like Cullen, Alistair, and Anders! Now, I will silently slink away again.
*snip*
I agree he's hot, maybe a little too pretty boy for me esp in the 2nd pic... but roughed up a bit and yeah I can see it.
His Zev was spot on
too cute!
Yes it was! He does a very nice Cole too.
Is it my imagination, or is the Crestwood dragon a lot easier to take down than the Hinterlands dragon?

IIRC, they're about the same level - but the Fereldan Frostback has reinforcements with the smaller drakes it summons, and its fire attacks do more damage than the lightning breaths that you can still dodge, if you get the timing right. The only thing that makes the Northern Hunter harder than the FF for me is that the AOE lightining circles it casts on the ground are killers on higher difficulties.
The easiest dragon to kill in the game is by far the Abyssal one on the Western Approach. It's higher level than both the Frostback and the Hunter, but it has really weak AOE attacks, and stays mostly grounded even before you take down its legs.
The hardest ones for me were the Vinsomer, on the Storm Coast, and the Gamordan Stormrider on the Exalted Plains - even though I was several levels over them by the time I finished the game and decided to get my last achievement, I still took a hell of a beating to take them down. Maker, do I ever hate lightning-based dragons. Even the Kaltenzahn and the Highland Ravager weren't that hard.

Makes sense. The FF fight took forever, partly because it wouldn't stay put, and it was doing a lot of damage to Solas (who I wanted along because he's concentrated in ice spells). I think the Northern Hunter took me about a minute instead of 15 (I didn't even realize it was dead, I thought the game had glitched), and I hadn't leveled between them. Good to know about the Abyssal dragon. I may try for it later tomorrow.

The Sandy Howler is the bane of my existence, lol! That dragon beat me at least 20 times before I finally ragequit and then came back a few levels higher.

Templar and Mage Dispels will knock out the lightning circles.
Hardest for me are Vinsomer and Gamordan as well, with Kaltezahn kinda being annoying near the end.
The most beautiful, for me, were Abyssal High and Kaltezahn.
Me, I'm hoping Zevran's absence from DAI means he'll at least get a cameo in DLC. Not that I'm holding my breath, lol.
Forget Zevran! I want Merrill! ![]()
Forget Zevran! I want Merrill!
Merrill wasn't really my type as a romance, but I'd love to have her around otherwise. It sounds like she was finding a bit of a niche for herself after what happened in Kirkwall.
And IB just got me drunk, lol.

This is where you got start throwing Sera to cause some MAYHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM!

Except this is my Solasmance, lol, which means I've already gotten two of the three kiss limit for him, sigh. But, hmm, that's an idea with Volya. Does that only trigger with the FF or any dragon? She can probably take the Northern Hunter now or within a level or so. You know, someone needs to write that scene...

lol! There are so many things I wish I could do in game, more mischief and jokes are high on the list.
Too b ad you cannot get your Inquisitor drunk when you want and Cullen comments on it.
(Inquisitor stumbles into Cullen's office completely drunk and half nude-no pants just undies).
Inquisitor: You...you..know yer the commoner ..so hows bout we do...hold on...where did I put my dink..did I even have a cookie.
Cullen: Maker! Are you drunk? And are you aware you have no pants on?
(Inquisitor stumbles over to Cullen and pokes em in the chest with her finger)
Inquisitor: Yeah thats right, you commoner you, you took my cookie and stuff, I'm here to...(turns her head and throws up all over his desk) then falls back-wards and passes out on the floor)
Cullen (faces palms): What in Andraste's name have I gotten myself into.

How are you liking the Solas romance? I wish he had more content...I wish they ALL had more content. I found his romance to be extremely well done with what little they had to go with.
Lol, I bet you loved the Sera goofing around quest?

I like it, but it's really thin on content. The inability to get a kiss when you want like the other LIs makes it a bit depressing. I tried to space out the romance content, but I'm approaching 50 hours without anything significant (obviously on this PT, I should have done WE/WH before Abyss, lol).
Oh, the practical jokes were a riot!
. Sorry but from where I com from that it is still considered cheating regardless if it's a loveless marriage or not . When u marry u are NOT suppose to see other ppl in between , regardless of the time period, that's kinda the whole point of takin vows and all that jazz. Just because VIv were "besties" with that guys wife dosent make it ok , ppl back in the Middle Ages and even today woman who are married to men that are in "power" such as presidents or kings and whatnot had to "suffer" through all that just for thir husbands to get a better political influence/power , that doesn't mean that the women back then were ok with it weather they had feelings for them or not. It was all a masquerade to keep their social statusThe mistress ending is not cheating - mistress here is not used in the same contemporary context we use it, as a dirty little cheating secret, but in the historical context of a consort to a noble in a political marriage. It's not really a demerit to be a consort - you would be the true loved one, on the side of the official spouse.
It's much like Vivienne's relationship with Bastien - his wife knew about Vivienne, and even got along with her. Anora is the same in that scenario - she never asks you to give up your relationship with Alistair, only that you two please not shame her if you remain together. Depending on your Warden's personality, you could even come to have a relationship of mutual respect with her - if my own Warden hadn't died, I can see her coming into friendly terms with Anora eventually, even as she remained Alistair's consort in the privacy of their bed.

Yeah, I wonder why they weren't able to implement a kiss option? Perhaps they ran out of resources. If I recall correctly....Sera, Cole, and Cassandra had the most banter about their romance. Although I will probably never hear it again since the patch gave me the banter bug.
I know!
Is there anyone else playing DAI on PS4 and experiencing the banter bug with the latest patch installed?

I'm currently playing on the PC. Ran around the whole of the Exalted Plains and got zero party banter.
Uh Cole cannot be romanced...or do you mean in terms of commenting on a romance?
Just wondering, did something happen with Greg Ellis? His twitter seems... Like he's very apologetic towards Cullenites for some reason.

Can you C and P please? Not on the right computer to check Twitter.

*Zarro does not approve of this patch*
Lol, Ti and I were talking about the Solas romance and I said that Cole, Cassandra, and Sera were the ones who mostly commented on their romance.

Just a lot of drama that is slowly blowing over. It's better not to bring that kind of stuff to such a tranquil and safe atmosphere...and I can't believe I just used the term "tranquil". Dragon Age has forever ruined that term for me.
I haven't had much success replicating the round cheeks and nice jawlines of DA2 faces with the DA:I CC either; for all its other pluses it seems to err on the side of hollow cheeks and weak or pointy chins. I tried a Sebastian after I got home tonight, though:I've also seen Anders, but no sign of Isabela or Sebastian
(I could try to do it myself, but I'm pretty bad at recreating faces from DA2)

Agreed! Best to keep the thread drama free
