As far as Star Trek I still think Cullen is a lot like Chief O'Brien. Smart, a soldier, impatient, stubborn, besieged by angry Writer's Room gods for many years, deeply disdainful of frills, serious but apparently not without time for the Holodeck with Julian chess with Dorian, and at least in my headcanon I always imagine Cullen as similarly family-oriented once he has his own.

Huh... Never thought about it that way, but you are right. Except Cullen is hot, whereas O'Brien is... homely

Hard to say since we've started to speed up a bit again. But I think Cerulione's is right, that we've got at least another week. 

 

On the saving spots, I can certainly do that as I always have placeholders for those who can't make it. [[ETA: Plus, you get double the exposure, because you just do a regular post after the fact, and then I add it in to Page 5000.]]

 

Since we're approaching it, why don't we sound off on who plans on contributing so I have a sense of who to wait/hold for?

I hope Melissa doesn't mind if I contribute two or three screenshots that I took with the Cinematic Tool. Frankly, it's the only thing I can do. LOL. My fanfiction will probably turn into a novel, so I'm confident that I have it finished by the time when DA 4 is released. And I'm still trying to draw circles and squares so that isn't really an option either. LOL.

Regarding which character Cullen could be in the Star Trek univers: I can't really see him as any of them. Sigh. I guess I have no imagination. As Owlfruit has already pointed out there are similarities with O'Brien. But I can't see O'Brien in a leading position. He seems to more comfy around machines. 

Then I thought Worf would be better macht. Worf and Cullen are both very honorable, they both have some trouble to "blend in", both stand up to their superiors if they have to. But then Worf has a worse temper than Cullen will ever have.

All this Star Trek talk and no love for Q? My goodness, he's pretty much my favorite character (aside from Captain Picard). I totally loved how he had more air time with Voyager.

Thank you! Wish I could have made it look better but I'm such a noob at faces and anatomy and I had no idea how I was supposed to light his face from that angle. With only 4 hours left till the end of Valentine's Day and half a calc homework left to do before tomorrow, I had to stop here. Maybe after I practice more I'll go back to this and clean it up.

 

And LOL thanks. I'm not really looking to be in a relationship at the moment since I still have so much schooling to do, but it doesn't bother me all that much. I just thought it was funny to be posting a celebratory Valentine's Day picture with that mindset xD

Nah, Riker's an oversexed jock like the Iron Bull. The only difference is that Riker isn't pretending when he acts like a jerk.

 

Varric is more like Tom Paris, the hypercompetent sidekick who knows everything that's going on, is friendly with practically everyone, skill in mechanical engineering and dabbles in writing on the side.

I tried to start playing DAO again and I'm starting to realize that it isn't going to be the same. It just feels so weird and I don't want to start disliking it for what I used to love, lol. It will always have the characters and story going for it, but other than that....I don't know. Has anyone else felt like this?

 

I've been missing the Alistair and Zevran romances so that is pretty much why I am going back to DAO. Then I will be going for DA2 with the Anders, Fenris, Isabela, and possibly Sebastian romances.

I think the combat is the main issue for me or even the controls. Graphics I can handle and stupid little bugs I can overlook, but my fingers are like. "THE HELL IS DIS?!" 

 

I might try to make a female dwarf again, but the last one was so bad that I could not bring myself to posting anything of her.

Ok, so I am doing another Cullen romance( on my brand spanking new super duper high settings capable pc, YAY!), this time with an Amell HOF ws. We just had some desk fun and afterwards I asked him about Amell.....I kinda wish I hadn't now lol because either it's bad writing/wording or my Inquisitor just rekindled his feelings for Amell. His words...'I may have had some youthful infatuation with her..(blah blah)...Feelings I had forsaken UNTIL recently.  Kinda fizzled the flames of our recent passion, sigh* 

 

ok I listened again and heard it a different way...boy he is sooo lucky lol
