Three years after allowing Marian Hawke to escape Kirkwall, a disgraced Cullen is sent on a desperate quest to find her. Can he earn her trust in time to regain what he's lost and finally redeem them all for the role they played in igniting the mage-templar war? Set in 9:40, after the events of DA2 and Asunder. Rated T, but eventually a little bit M.

Chapter Summary: An encounter with mysterious assassins force our heroes to flee Gwaren in a hurry, and stirs up bad memories for Hawke.

R2, I love the ending to the Chocolate romance! Though I maybe I should rewrite my next Zima chapter; ironically, it ends up in the kitchen too, lol (but as a cozy, comforting spot.)

Edit: I also like your Wordles. Del in the second one had me puzzled until I read it, though.

Aw, thanks so much! Yeah, it's funny I wrote the first third or so, including the kitchen, before the game came out and then worried when I heard the ambient banter about the Head Cook being a dude. I decided to go with it anyway, but luckily later learned that there actually *is* a Cook who is female and only laughs when the mice play or whatever. So, yay inadvertent canon.

OMG you guys - I was playing Origins earlier and it got to the point where Alistair tells the warden how much he cares for her (right before the first kiss) and then a woman's voice randomly comes in in the middle of his sentence and says soemthing like "you killed my mother!" and then it went back to Valentine's voice! Has that happened to anyone? I have "Alistair's first kiss" mod installed, but needless to say it took me out of the moment...

threrealmcgee's stuff is always amazing - if only she were accepting commissions!

I think fontofnothing's texture is a vast improvement to the in-game vanilla one - bear fur is brown! I don't have any screenies that really show it off, but you can see it in action in the last few of my vids:

I have been keeping this song up my sleeve this whole time. It is the perfect theme for my story and can be seen from both Cullen's POV and Mira's POV. I hope I won't have to explain why I think this song is fits my story the most. It should explain itself

This song would best be played when Mira battles the antagonist of the story.

I never really saw the red fur as believable. To dye our own hair significantly lighter colors we need to bleach it first, so I can't imagine that color red being possible out of brown bear fur (without chemicals), especially with red splotches. That's why I prefer the brown better. I've always been a person that thinks too hard about that kind of thing. I tend to ruin a lot of movies and shows for people when I start picking things apart. :lol:
