I love it too, though I had to settle for recordings.
I've been hoping it will come to a stage nearby so I can drag my b/f to it. Though I imagine I'd have to hog-tie him to the seat and tape his eyes open.

I did this already so if you want to get any confirmation/question immediately don't hesitate. Kalala can do the documentation properly however, I lost most saves.

I need to go to sleep.
I'm just curious as to what all the differences are with an Amell who died or romanced Leliana. I know there is some interesting dialogue for a romanced Leliana that has Amell still alive, but other than that...I'm in the dark.
Lol, it's bound to be an angst-filled fight!
Neither did I, but they are good. Just think, all those years ago a romance with Cullen was but a dream. I'm so glad we all got to sink our teeth into him in the end. I am also failing at doing a romance that isn't Cullen or Cassandra. *pout*
Mmhm! I think Amell makes Cullen's story all the more interesting even if she did not flirt with him. I like a more detailed past of Cullen and Warden Amell delivers that.
Will do. She's still in Haven, but so far Leliana talked about her once when my Trevelyan asked about Amell. I think that this worldstate really works with Leliana's "hardening" in personality too. I also like to headcanon that Leliana and Cullen had a conversation at some point about Amell, since they both have fond memories of her. It may be my favorite created worldstate so far for headcanons
Cool! I'm very interested, lol!
I am several PTs in DAI and I have still yet to unlock Skyhold's safe. How do you do that?
Ok guys, this is really embarrassing, but here's my best shot at making Morticia. She has another one of those faces that is near impossible to create in the CC, simply because you can't move the nose/mouth/eyes enough and you can't edit the bridge of the nose enough. In some scenes (such as the opening area) her skin is too pale, but in others it appears too dark. There's also no possible way to match the eye makeup with the vanilla CC. I have sliders if you want 'em but really I'm not happy with her. She's actually pretty darn close to Rhiannon as far as facial structure goes. I don't have a "freckle-less" skin texture and I don't want to install the one I found because it either comes with brows that don't work for her or replaces texture #3 and I can't have that.

The Joining is an oath.
“Join us brothers and sisters.
Join us in the shadows where we stand vigilant.
Join us as we carry the duty that can not be forsworn.
And should you perish, know that your sacrifice will not be forgotten.
And that one day we shall join you.”
You are pretty much swearing to hunt darskpawn until one day you fall on some hurlock's nasty taint-greased sword... if you're lucky. If you're not, enjoy your Calling.
But yeah, even if your Warden wasn't keen on joining, people do desert. Anders swore that oath virtually at gunpoint, and ran tail outta there the first opportunity he got. My own Cousland resisted her "recruitment" until Duncan had to drop the whole nice guy act, conscript her like a criminal and practically drag her kicking and screaming out of the castle, so I know that feel... she did grow into being a Warden and would have embraced the Commander thing like her life mission if she had lived to see it; but I've had other Wardens, like my Brosca and my Tabris, who didn't want anything to do with the Wardens even at the end of the game, and couldn't wait to dodge town the second Riordan wasn't looking.
Hmm, I didn't actually take that as an oath since I was never asked to agree to it, lol. And you aren't really swearing to much (since duty that can not be forsworn is basically the taint in your blood.) I also got the impression when a blight was over, people who wanted to go back to their families (particularly non-criminals who really had a place to go) pretty much could.
Some of my wardens were a lot more committed than others - my two Tabris, my Brosca, my Aeducan and one of my Couslands (who saw it a a noble's duty,) one of my Suranas. Funny that my three who were most committed (two Tabris and one Brosca) are the ones you RPed as wanting nothing to do with them, lol. Mine saw it as an opportunity they'd never had before. Misha was committed to ending the blight, but wasn't interested in the wardens past that (he tracked down Morrigan and his son at the first chance). My other Dalish wanted to go back to her clan after the blight at first, but once she realized she wanted to stay with Alistair (my only pt where he stayed a warden), she took the Wardens seriously because it was a way for them to stay together without harassment. My other three are more complicated.

Spoiler
D**n, that's the closest I've seen, but it's still not quite her...
I wouldn't mind sliders to play with - your eyes are definitely better than the ones I got, and so is the cheek structure.
I don't know what's in the comics that Greagoir might have done (I'm afraid to find out now.) I really liked him in my first few PTs. But then I ran my mage who went straight to Irving and cooperated completely, then discovered if Duncan hadn't been there, I would probably have been heading for tranquility or the mage's prison, yeah, my opinion of him suffered a bit (and of Irving, I think he threw me to the wolves on purpose, knowing Duncan would save his bacon.) Of course, I think they both wanted me out of the tower because of Cullen...
You gotta understand, that Gregoir is a committed Templar. He may be fair, but when worst comes to worst as we saw in the Circle crisis. Gregoir can be willing to slaughter ever single mage in order maintain order.
Yeah, I'm not very good at the CC when it comes to recreating celebrities or characters. I tried to make Milla Jovovich a few days ago and this is the closest I could get:

Which is, basically not close at all. I do think she looks alright on her own, though.

Yes, but I can still criticize him for it, lol. I did comment that otherwise, I'd liked him. And I criticized Irving's role (possibly more harshly than Greagoir's, honestly.) Just because it's "for the greater good" doesn't mean it's right. I don't admire blind fanaticism, which I don't actually think he has since he proved flexible during the mage rebellion.
Heck he even in the books beat a pregnant Mage to get her too tell him, who the father of the baby is. I criticized him all the time and people still think he was out of character in those books just because he seems reasonable in the game.
To be fair the books are not always in line with the game; technically, there's no "canon" version of Dragon Age ... look at Cole; he was written in Asunder by Gaider and by Weekes (yeah?) in DAI; I think he's quite different, too.
However, he still did the deed no matter how you slice it he still is a peace of work. Actually, the event I believe happened before the start of the game to help understand the characters. To be fair the books are not always in line with the game; technically, there's no "canon" version of Dragon Age ... look at Cole; he was written in Asunder by Gaider and by Weekes (yeah?) in DAI; I think he's quite different, too.
I believe that banter between them about a romanced Surana/Amell only happens if you're not romancing Cullen on that playthrough, right?
That is correct.

Yes, the books confuse things a lot since it's hard to know what they're going to treat from them as "real." True also about Cole, but I got the impression in Asunder, he'd been close to or actually a demon, and has been drawn back to sanity (I'm using Solas's explanation.) I'd imagine that transformation would change his personality, lol.
Actually, that's something I've been speculating on. If Cole is the equivalent of a spirit "bodily" on the other side of the Veil, was Justinia the equivalent in the Fade - a creature bodily on the wrong side of the Veil? Could the Justinia we encountered have actually been what she became in the Fade, a person adapted to the Fade, the way Cole is a spirit adapting to the other side (he can become more human, to the point he admits near the end of the game that he's thought about a physical relationship to one of the other companions, I think?) Could she have adapted to the Fade in the same way (assuming she survived whatever dragged her back - a friendly spirit might have intervened...)
Sorry, just speculation, but I've been fascinated by what Solas says about the Fade and spirits.

You do realize, Gaider is the leader writer. No doubt even IF someone else wrote a character for this game or any other game, they probably need Gaider to read over it and get his OK.
Remember the mess with Anders? I won't go into detail here about that.
Of course Cole is diffrent. At the time Asunder happened, Cole was not exactly at his best nor in a paradise type situation. So he changed and became what he is in DAI.
Also considering the fact Cole was a p and p character, everyone had their own idea on what he looked like, how he acted etc. Thus getting a visual of who Cole is and how he acts not doubt jar some peoples views on how they viewed him in the books.
Cullen has changed from DAO, to DA2, to DAI. Should we also condemn Cullen for not being the same person from DAO or DA2.
Characters change just as real people to. If they stayed the same, they be stale like a biscuit.

Speculation is fun ![]()
But that's what I meant about Cole: Before the game came out, David Gaider expressed clear disgust with fans who wanted to romance Cole, saying he "obviously" had the mind of a child. But then in DAI, near the end, if Cole is encouraged to be more human, he expresses possible interest in a romantic relationship later on in his life.
So one writer sees him as a child, and another envisions him as someone who could consent to a relationship. It's a pretty big difference, although it could be argued that Cole's character "grew" to where he is now (meaning, from Asunder to DAI). But it's clear at one point that his first writer, David Gaider, saw him as a child and not appropriate for romance in any way, shape, or form.
About Justinia... I dunno, do we agree that was really her in the Fade? I'm convinced it was a spirit impersonating her.... maybe the way Cole-the-spirit impersonated (unintentionally) Cole-the-boy? Perhaps this spirit-person we meet in the Fade really believes she is Justinia. Who knows!
I finally made a new character that I'm semi-happy with, after installing Shianti's (I'm not sure if I'm spelling that right, is it Shantia?) eyebrow mod and face texture. I will be even happier when Adela gets her hairs up on the nexus so everyone can use them. I am so not happy with the cc and the hairstyle options. And hopefully patch 5 will come out soon because I want that mirror!
Hey, I've seen you before!After
yearsdays of lurking in various Cullen forums, I have finally decided to speak.
Ahem.
Hi.
LOL I'm flattered you'd think it was written by me! In your defense, I have a similarly titled story that was written for the same challenge (the Dark and Stormy Night challenge).I know this!!! That's the first fic from R2s that I read, it's really good. Just love how she opens the story with one sentence that got me hooked.

Yeah that is one reason why I switched from my Xbox One DAI to PC so I get a MOd to change these awful hairstyles.
I swear Bioware needs to stop smokin cheap crayons.
dunno what is wrong R2, but here...

I have to say when I saw it a few years back, I had to ask myself "were they high when they made this into a musical?" LOL I didn't mind it but probably not to my tastes in the end. But then again same could be said of Adventure Time lol (which I actually love - hey I work with kids, this is... research!)

Regardless, it's pretty damn good!
EDIT: I'm personally still not sure what happened with Solas & Flemeth, I can see value and merit in a lot of you're theories I just hope some of it (but very doubtful) may be addressed or more hinted at in the DLC
...trying to be slightly more coherent ... *pathetic watery sniff*

Awwww.
I know what's coming in that part, but I'm finding I keep wanting to put it off... I'm also still deciding whether or not to let her drink from the well (that certainly has the possibility for twists in the future.)

No. What is embarrassing is when you BF does not know what his video card is. LOL! ![]()
And BTW not a bad rendition at all.
