Awwww.  :(  I know what's coming in that part, but I'm finding I keep wanting to put it off... I'm also still deciding whether or not to let her drink from the well (that certainly has the possibility for twists in the future.)

I never do. Why the hell do I want some dead elves talking in my character's head for the rest of her life.. That has got to be a pain when the Inquisitor goes shopping. :P

*EDIT*

Maker, I just thought about the dead elves talking while you and Cullen have smexy time.

That would be beyond awkward.

Well, this involves Solasmancers, not Cullenmancers. Whcih has all sorts of implications if he really does end up with Mythal's essence. But yeah, voices in your head while with a loved one, a little weird.

Heh, I drank from the Well on my Blackwall romance playthrough, because there wasn't enough angst in that romance already :P.  Well, that and Blackwall had a nice reaction that made me go d'awwww and keep the save.  I even recorded it :)

I've been having that a lot lately. Not to mention DX just crashing.

This why I have not been able to play much. As soon as I get in the game-Oh look a crash, followed by another.

Thus I end up swearing worse then Sera.

It happened so often that I even downloaded and run a third party software (Flawless Widescreen) that's supposed to help cut back on the memory leak problems that the Frostbite3 engine has.  It has helped, except for tonight for some reason.  Gah.

OMG... That's so sweet, and so much nicer than what happened in Bull's romance. Not only did he not seem to care but they didn't even animate him going through the mirror with the others lol I was like, okay, why does the game have like NO LI reactions >.<

That could be useful! Also just made me think of a really inappropriate way to use Cole!

No. What is embarrassing is when you BF does not know what his video card is. LOL! ;)

Well, to be fair, he really doesn't know anything about computers at all. Any time he has a problem or needs something I have to do it. I also have to do his taxes.

Yeah, I guess I'm lucky, My game runs like a rock and I never have any memory leak issues, no matter how long I play. I can leave it paused and go take a nap on the couch and it's fine when I get back. The only time I have CTD's is when I push it too hard when hotsampling resolutions over 4k, and that's no fault of the game.

I guess my setup has just the right combination of components to run the game well. I've actually been lucky across the board. *knocks on wood*

I have told a couple people in my life that I am gender neutral; it was very hard and embarrassing... my sister nodded seriously and said "I understand"; my friend laughed and seemed confused and I don't think she believe in gender neutrality... she believes people are men or women, and that being one or the other makes you special and very different from the other sex. (She's very second wave feminist.)

At my age (34) it's about accepting the body I'm in and reexamining how I approach relationships. Realizing that the outside doesn't have to match the inside, so I can wear a dress and it isn't "wrong."

And hey there's Dragon Age so I can play as who I want to be in real life :)

My husband doesn't understand either. I tried androgyne for a while and that didn't fit. Neither did gender fluid or gender neutral. In the end, I figured that because my sexual orientation was based not on gender but rather intellect (I'm sapiosexual) that I maybe just didn't have a gender at all, and I've actually become quite comfortable with that. I'm a brain in a body and that's okay with me. I'm not tied to my biological sex, but I'm used to it, so might as well go with "she" and "her." That being said, I have no problem switching between male and female roles. Want to romance Cullen or Solas? Cool. I'll be a girl. Want to romance Cass or Dorian? That's fine. I have no problem being a boy either.

It's true I'm someone who doesn't fit on either side of the gender binary, and I personally don't care what pronouns anyone uses (tbh they all sound wrong, thanks a lot English language, you suck).

I've started wondering if gendered pronouns are even worth having around in our language anymore. I mean, really, what use is identifying someone's sex these days? We place more worth on the person than such categories. I always bothers me when you're trying to write something without alluding to sex and yet it SO HARD because there aren't really gender neutral pronouns beyond "it" and "them", but "it doesn't do the human condition justice as it objectifies, and "them" leans more towards a plural reference. It's kind of like Battlestar Galactica - can't we just call everyone "sir"? instead of separating it down to "sir" and "ma'am" based on something as trivial as sex?

Well, if you read Judith Butler, it's proposed gender is performative, and I think that argument is the best one I've read. Gender is social construct, so once you think of that idea in terms of real life is kind of like (at least, I like to think) seeing the matrix. Though anyone can be anywhere along the spectrum of gender. I'm like you, and I'd classify myself as gender neutral, probably sat firmly in the middle somewhere. I've never felt like I've had to tell anyone specifically, though. I think everyone in my life has a clear indication anyway, haha.

*sigh*I knew I shouldn't have picked him first, I'm enjoying my Solas playthrough very much but I'm already pining for Cullen  Gah. I did this with Alistair. I did this with Garrus. I fall into the same trap every time!

LOL I miss Seb and his delightful accent. I'm hoping we see more DA2 cameos in the future. Yanno, instead of just reading about them in the war room.

I've seen this! Well I saw the first few panels and I knew what was coming so I've not bothered to read to the end :P *HISSSSS!*

I'm not offended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *facepalm*

It's just there are people in this thread who know I am female and I didn't want people thinking I was being weird and going around telling others I'm male and impersonating a male.

Best go German and call everyone Mensch... But Latin languages are even more heavily gendered that English. As you probably know.

My country has genderless pronoun "hän", but instead than using that we just call everyone "se" which means "it" in spoken speech. I don't think "it" is thought as something objectifying or nonhumanizing here.
