*clicks tongue* I can't even really play my game right now because after 5 minutes or so the screen goes black and I see "no signal" on the TV. I'm pretty convinced the Dell guy didn't hook something up right when he replaced my video card. I HAVE pulled the top off and poked around in there, and I KNOW where the video card is, but that's about it. Anyone have any suggestions before I engage in yet another 2 hour conversation with someone from Dell on the phone?

I remember at some point before release elu and I had Blackwall as our avatars. I don't know who changed first though.

That reminds me of awhile back when I played Mass Effect multiplayer a lot I'd frequent the multiplayer forums.  There was this person there who'd post really angry threads raging about parts of multiplayer.  They had a Wrex avatar so I'd read them in an angry Krogan voice XD

That happens to me when Tish change her avatar, took me 5 minutes to understand it was hers.

As Qween said, boys, girls, doesn't matter It's a good place to be. I guess the reason why I imagined there would be more girls posting here is because of the way my hubby rolls his eyes whenever I gush about Cullen. For some reason, I imagined that guys in general would have that reaction. I think it was Thane who mentioned that her SO said something on the lines of Cullen being a good guy when he saw how he helped a wounded soldier during the tutorial. Cullen has universal appeal, no? He'd definitely make good company in the trenches.

I still like Cullen, but I want to romance him as a Dalish Keeper's First, but it's really hard because many of the same traits that would attract her to him are also present with Solas (at least when you meet him), and Cullen has that "devout Andrastian human and former Templar" thing that would make it hard for her to warm up to him for a long time. I'm having trouble realistically keeping her uninterested in Solas so she could be free to fall for Cullen later. x_x

 

I romanced Cullen once with an elf (hunter, not Keeper) and also had to come up with an RP reason to not pursue Solas. This was my solution, if it's of any help:

I decided that I would have to play my character as a very straightforward kind of gal and slightly naive about how relationships work among non-Dalish. She was initially interested in Cullen, Solas and Blackwall, but quickly noticed that the latter two were much more receptive to her advances, so she focused on them. Skyhold comes along and almost immediately she finds Blackwall suddenly digging in his heels, throwing up red flags all over the place and saying, "We can't do this, it's wrong for [unspecified reasons], we should just be friends." Huh. Well, okay, if that's how he wants it... must be a human thing... over to Solas then! And what does Solas do right after almost kissing her to death in the Fade? "We can't do this, it's wrong for [unspecified reasons], we should just be friends."

 

At that point she was completely, utterly confused and a little bit heartbroken. She wasn't about to go after anyone who didn't 100% want to be with her, no matter how attractive they were. Meanwhile, she'd been working steadily alongside Cullen (helping to train his archers) and had come to really admire and respect him; eventually she realized that here was a man who would never, ever string her along the way the others (seemed to) do, and decided to take a chance on this "romancing an outsider" business just one more time... and voila! I also had her slowly realize that she wasn't ever going to be able to go back to the Dalish life she once loved, so when the "together forever?" issue came up she felt free to commit to Cullen, Andrastianism and all, though she didn't give up her own beliefs.

No, I don't think she's mean either!  When I venture outside my "safe" threads on BSN, I find there are some very condescending and generally rude people who frequent these forums.  I'm glad that they don't come here.

Make sure the card is firmly seated in its slot. If its loose its own fans can disconnect it when they kick on. Thats all I got

No, before it was doing something different. The fan would blow really really hard and THEN the screen would go black. Now it's just going black. Occasionally it restarts.

Are you suuuuure? Because I see a black line at the top and on the bottom, as if framing the picture. None on the sides. It's because originally I had a black frame around the picture, but the forum cropped it.
