I think him being commander and #2 of the most powerful force in Thedas is a testament to his intelligence. I don't think a person without it could do it. We don't need to see it because it's a given, at least in my opinion.

Well, as I said, at least above average, possibly considerably more, lol

As a teacher of freshmen, believe me, you can recognize stupidity from a mile away lol as well as intelligence. I judge Cullen to be quite intelligent *firm nod*

As a person who loses interest quickly in those who do not seem to possess at least a moderately high amount of intellect, I concur. He may have only been of above average or slightly above intelligence, but he acted with intelligence and a high level of discernment. And those things really count for something imo.

They do... I tell people many, many times to do something a certain way. I provide handouts as well as a virtual classroom; both of these repeat and reinforce what I've already said. Yet some people still do not understand what I want them to do.

With Cullen, I can see someone explaining something to him, a strategy or something, and him having to only listen once before understanding what's to be done and what's needed. That's "real world" intelligence, I guess. Life skills lol Something freshmen lack

Sowy...  :(

I'm pretty good with computer stuff. My ex is a network admin and taught me a lot. Then when we split, I had to teach myself a lot.

I don't have an antivirus actually lol Can you recommend a good free one? AVG is evil and I refuse to download it.

And thanks!

I just switched to BitDefender, which is a little bit less expensive than Norton, but both are very good. You'll find both near the top of just about every anti-virus software list. And I agree with Melissa about getting what you pay for, and you just don't want to mess around when it comes to viruses.

Honestly IMO:

I don't like most name brand Virus protection software.

I use Windows Defender. It not cost me a dime AND it never interferes with my programs while DAI is running.

Oh and Mel..

I'm in the process of building my own rig <dances>

Hey, I got the top off my computer! That's something, eh? :D

I just don't need another monthly or yearly expense  <_< A one-time purchase might not be so bad, especially if I get to the end of the month and I still actually have money in the bank :P

(I'm poor, y'all.)

I can attest that Cullen at 30 does know lots of Life SKills better than Alistair at his Freshman Year in DA:O -_-

XD I would die of laughter if you accidently started to doodle a Cullen chibi on one of those essays. I am sure there are some papers in there that should be burned anyway. Why not add a Cullen to add some redeeming factor? Was that mean...eh...I say snarky.

I don't believe that I am an extremally intelligant person, but I'd like to think that I have some intellect. I can remember back in my senior year at highschool, well, I was not one for groupwork and I would often venture off to the work by myself. I'd rather not get stuck doing the work.

I also read back through the pages and I don't think it is really fair to judge Alistair's intellect/experience/personaility from DA:O and compare it to DA:I Cullen. I think both characters have grown and both are far more weathered. So that's my little tidbit.

BTW...I think I was one of the ones who went on a Game of Thrones tangent a little while back. Sorry R2  I think I have been much more focused...

I honestly have never had Norton interfere with any of my programs (short of files without a reputation score and honestly I'd rather it be cautious). If I'm sure the file is good I just slap a good 'ol ignore on it and I'm good to go. But any "real" games and stuff like ones on Steam or Origin? Nada - has never been an issue.

Are you building the system yourself or having it built locally or through an online house like CyberPowerPC?

Believe me, even with my poor drawing skills... it would be a vast improvement

Imagine if Chibi Cullen could be carried around. He would just sit on my desk looking adorable, or ride on my shoulder when I'm teaching, or on the dash of my car when I'm driving. He'd lecture students when they're being jerks. Me: "Okay, everyone, take out the new essay handout." Chibi Cullen: (in tiny voice) "NOW, recruits!!!"

Someone needs to make a RL Chibi Cullen and I am sure a lot of us would buy it the moment we could! What were you students writing about? I'm going to assume the grades are varying from one another? When I used to help grade papers I could always tell who put in the work and who typed it at the last moment.

I was so young when those things came out. I can barely remember them...

Since I usually post songs that have a darker message or more intense, well, here is something lighter. I find this song pretty cute for the Cullen romance.
