I'd say a month..LOL! ![]()
Sooooo, has anyone seen this picture by Matt Rhodes, entitled The Divine Heretic? Apparently it was a non realized story idea that you could name yourself Divine.

Yeah, it's kind of a shame they didn't leave that option in there. But at least it explains some of the randomness of choosing the other options. ![]()

She is very devout, she'd be horrified to find she'd helped someone to seize power for power's sake.

At the same time though, that could potentially close off other doorways in the story, if that were to be an option, or at least make it a lot more difficult if we get an expansion as the Inquisitor or DLC. In theory, it'd require a lot of extra explanations as to why the Divine it out in the field.
Regardless, would have been cool to see it though. Would have loved to put my Lugh Adaar on the throne.
Oh, while we're sort of on the topic: Is there a video anywhere which shows Cullen's reactions to the various Divine outcomes?

Yeah, if they want to learn from past... complications, this one seems like a big wrench to throw into the world fabric of Thedas for future installments. So it also makes sense to me that they removed it.
I've heard some folks comment that it seemed obvious that we were being set up to become Divine, but honestly, it never even occurred to me during my first playthrough.
Thanks! The one about Vivienne is too funny. What's odd is that I could swear I got a reaction from him once which was different from all of those - something to do with the Templars. Hmmm.
For most of the game I was 100% sure they were setting Mother Giselle up to be the next Divine.
uhh...update of my WIP then.

True. At least your Inquisitor is safe from saying, "Sleeping with Cullen was like throwing a sausage down a hallway." ![]()

The excuse of why you could not was poorly explained. They could have just said, "Your not allowed" then hit you with the sign."

As did I or at least an option for one. It still makes ZERO sense after numerous game plays that she was not in either direction.

Same. In hindsight, I can see the signs of it - you being asked repeatedly what the Inquisition stands for - order, change, Andraste, etc.; also in Champions of the Just, when you are asked to raise the flags in a specific order.

I saw that "flag ceremony" on YouTube, my reaction was, "WTF!?!" ![]()
Would have been more interesting if it was sexy panties.
Yeah, I'm still confused as to why she isn't even an option. Was there a given reason, or did she just kinda fall off the story wagon? Thanks! The one about Vivienne is too funny. Well from what I've heard, they were still going to run with it until it came to adding the races back in. Male Divine heresy was okay, but elven and qunari was probably going too far, (especially if you through in the dangly bits), and they just couldn't justify it in lore, I suppose.Yeah, if they want to learn from past... complications, this one seems like a big wrench to throw into the world fabric of Thedas for future installments.
