Personally I don't think it's comparable. Each step during the history of the society always had its dark sides. There was a time when "killing an infidel means no murder", when women and children did not have souls, when LGBT people were treated as sick & mind bleached, when coloured people were treated as lesser beings (I mean no offense to anyone). Apartheid stills exist until 1960 no? Longer in some other countries.

 

The society is something that evolves, with all its good and bad sides. Personally I don't think that the society in the past is better than today overall, if probably it was only more hypocritical in the past from what I read. There are points that were better for sure, but there are also so many points that had improved since then.

 

Maybe I say this because I am of the younger generations, I do not have many comparison of how it was a few decades ago. But I do believe in this one, and the ones that are to come. I still believe in humanity.

 

Even though that maybe you are wiser then those I have encountered in the young generation. All I can say is: don't lose it.

So I said the other day that I'd used the tools the modders made to go through the sound files for Cullen's separate romance scenes and for the final balcony scene, and that I hadn't found anything else Cullen-related that I was sure was novel. I started going through his non-romance stuff tonight, though, and either I forgot like a dozen lines or there is some mildly interesting cut content in there (nothing earthshaking, just commenting on things I don't think he commented on in the final version).

 

I'm not sure if this one is old news or not (re: his favorite bird; it's not in the messenger banter compilation) but it's adorable and someone might want an mp3 of it anyway so I'm putting it up here either way: https://dl-web.dropb...4OmYU4tRaKhbQMQ

Disclaimer: I have mixed feelings about rummaging around in there because everything was cut for a reason; Cullen's scrapped DA:O content brought me a smile but as someone who wasn't here in 2009, it seems like the fandom's angrier about everything now than they were then, and I can picture 5 threads popping up if that had happened now (OMG why didn't we get to talk to Cullen about Andraste's sex life and listen to his G-rated swearing?!?! probably because the devs are lazy and they won't hire me personally for QA! pre-order retroactively cancelled! etc. etc.) I hate when someone puts something on tumblr and people complain that it wasn't in the final version, so I might be done after this. Just wanted to correct myself since the other day I may have made it sound like I'd looked at everything Cullen-related, which is not the case, and found nothing else new. And lord knows I'm being careful not to use the beta version for this, just in case there are any differences.

Boy, last night got a little R-rated around here. Again.   
 

So, at the Winter Palace if Cullen isn't romanced he'll tell the admirers that he's married to his work instead of "not married yet".  I don't intend to spark a debate on marriage here (again  ), but I thought I'd share something I just noticed in his dialogue.  The Inquisitor I'm playing right now is romancing Solas.

Yeah, I got that one, too, on my Solasmance. And the one about letting his jacket out. LOL Then doesn't he still say something about a headache is preferable to the company... but then backpedals and says something like, but not you? I didn't seem to screenshot the last part, so maybe I'm imagining it.

I always look at the birds now in the aviary and wonder which one it is. I don't have any strong feelings one way or another on cut content. My headcanon can do as it pleases.

okay, I have never gotten to do Champions of the Just quest. I know my war room map is messed up. If I play in full screen windowed I lose all the outside of the map. If I play in full screen it is better, but must be I am still missing quests.

Mornin' all. Can someone share a link yo Adela's new fabulous hair? I'm such a lummox in the BSN search abilities

I haven't gotten too far in my 3rd pt, was chilling til the black emporium showed up...do you suppose any mods for hairstyles would work after initial cc too?

Edit: "Fixed the Charging Bull ability so that AI-controlled characters no longer overshoot their target" awwww, I loved when bull would launch himself over a cliff or head right for me when he overshot...blast!

Last time she commented on it I was under the impression that she "only" tweaked the hair that was already in the CC and that her own hair creations were more difficult to implement. Also, I'm sure she would have said something because she knows that folks are waitng eagerly for more hairstyles .

Personally I rather prefer the softer lines, but all my RL friends prefer the thicker lines. Well, I'll see a few more opinions here & there & voilà. Anyway this is all digital so I can switch between all created versions easily.
