I'm pretty sure the Absinthe here is quite different from the Absinthe in Europe. I believe that's because wormwood is illegal in the US. All you wanted to know about Absinthe in the US:

One drink that is now legal here and is gaining new popularity is mead...and boy oh boy is that stuff tasty. You have to find the good stuff though. The stuff I drink is imported from the Netherlands, comes in ceramic bottles and is 20% alcohol, not like the watered down low-octane weasel pee that is made here (9 - 12%). And real mead will knock-you-straight-on-your-bum-and-you-won't-even-see-it-coming....

That sounds good. I tried mead once but I don't think it was very good quality. What's the brand that you drink? I might see if I can find it where I live.

I will miss him on the writing team, but I also think PWeekes will do a great job. He's already shown that he can pick up DG's characters if need be (Cole) and written his own with great success ( SOLAS!!!). I think DA is in great hands.

Yeah I thought the same thing, and I think it's just the pic b/c normally I think Cullen looks just dandy next to lady elves ^^ Here it looks like he's being a little, um, shall we say, illegal

How to run mods with Patch 5:

1) Copy the patch 5 folder you just got to “Vanillapatch” or whatever name you want

2) Use ModManager version 0.48 to merge your mods again. Save the modded merge to a folder named “Merged” or whatever else you liked

3) Rename the folder named “Patch” to “PatchV”

4) Rename the folder named “Merged” you made on step 2 to “Patch”

5) Start the game

5a) You can delete the folder “PatchV” or leave it there. Keep “Vanillapatch”, You will need “Vanillapatch” if you want to merge more mods

6) to merge new mods: Delete the folder named “Patch” and make a copy of “Vanillapatch” named “Patch”. Run steps 2-5 again.

The patch folder is here > C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update

 

Copy the "Patch" in the same folder, you'll have something like "Patch - copy", rename it to Vanillapatch.

Then, merge your mods, and when it's done, name your patch folder "PatchV" and name your Merge folder "Patch"

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I reckon if fanfic writers can do it, he'll be fine. Besides, there will undoubtedly be some changes in store for those characters as well, particularly, erm, Flemeth, so some differences will be expected. LIke with Cole.

What Lynas said. It probably will just say "patch" but if you look at the date modified, it should show today's date. You make a copy of it that you give a name that reminds you of what it is, then leave it alone so you have an unaltered version available for later. It's just a backup file.

We will all notice changes the moment they appear in the game and start to speak. The question is will it be for the better or for the worse. *Twilight Zone theme plays*

Yeah, but David just had a way of nailing her voice (Flemeth) so well. Every time that woman has opened her mouth, I die of fanboying. She's my favorite character in the entire franchise. For the sake of my sanity, Patrick has to absolutely nail it.

Hell, this was first time writing for Dragon Age and they gave him the monstrous task of making Solas. That probably should have sent my alarm bells ringing from the get go.

Apparently they also worked quite closely together on Solas. So yeah, I suppose that might have been a clue, given that hindsight is 20/20. But then, who knows how they really allocate the characters. I wouldn't have expected a new writer to just work on Cullen like Brianne did.
