True, true. That said, I imagine that having just written major portions of ME3, especially Mordin (as well as Rannoch and Tuchanka?), Patrick has a hell of a lot of experience to bring to the table.

 

Either way, I'm now even more curious to learn what this damned new secret IP is.

Is it just me or are the proportion a bit strange in this picture? Cullen looks like a giant compared to elf... (Not, that this is a bad picture).

This is a render using extracted models from the game, so I'm sure the proportions are right. Probably just the angle/positions.

Just my two cents; I'm not too worried about losing character integrity if Gaider's not writing them. Just look at how well even some fan fiction writers can do with the characters, I'm pretty confident that his team will carry them on just fine if they appear in later games. Or it could be a giant flag that they are ending this story and moving on to Tevinter/whatever.  I'd miss the old crew but I'm anxious to meet some new people.

That sounds good. I tried mead once but I don't think it was very good quality. What's the brand that you drink? I might see if I can find it where I live.

I love mead, but I'm fortunate enough to have friends who make their own. Though I like ale even better (I think from the double mugs in front of Cullen at the War Table that he's a beer/ale drinker.)

 

Speaking of which, has anyone else noticed he has two mugs at the war table that are clearly his because Lel and Josie both have their own mugs? Of course, it could just imply that he expects to be there for long periods staring at troop counters, etc....

I drink different stuff depending on my mood. I love mead, but I also drink beer. My favorites are Innis & Gunn's barrel aged brews. I'm also a complete hard cider snob - it has to be dry and not too sweet, which is prefect for mixing with mead if you are so inclined.

Mmm, hard to explain. We've never involved the devs in the past... and last celebration she was notified about the page prematurely, and it was an atypical celebration... which ... urgh.  Anyway. It just... feels awkward to me for many reasons, not the least of which being that I'm not keen on folks pointing "go here" signs about the thread out in the scary interwebs. 

 

So... anyway, there's my reasoning. Clear as mud, I know.

I think he has a chair - it's just covered with books. 

 

Game is up and running for me, mods and all. Because I used fontofnothing's method of "preserving" my saves, it was an even easier transition for me to get my mods running. Literally all I had to do was patch my mods, rename the "Patch" folder to "PatchV" and then rename the "Merged" folder to "Patch." I was able to skip the "VanillaPatch" step that someone mentioned. Of course, then I changed the extension on the official patch to .bak and then changed the version # of the modded patch to 6 (rather than 7).
