Color me curious. Either I was still on medicine for my finger back then or I was very tired. Meh, whatever. XD
Maybe he was a gentleman and brought one for the IQ...?
Except she has her own, admittedly smaller mug, lol.
I drink different stuff depending on my mood. I love mead, but I also drink beer. My favorites are Innis & Gunn's barrel aged brews. I'm also a complete hard cider snob - it has to be dry and not too sweet, which is prefect for mixing with mead if you are so inclined.
I mostly drink things from microbreweries. I like hard cider too, there's a brand sold in this area called Angry Orchard that has a ginger cider that I really like.

Lol, you know I'm teasing. It was an adorable story, really. And you may have possibly been high. *shrugs* Either way, I am still your weird mother from another time zone...thing.

Do I, Boom, do I REALLY know that you are teasing?! X3 I do. Depending on the date...I might have been. At the least medicine worked and my finger is more less healed. So true!

Is Angry Orchard micro? I thought that was a huge brand. I like them.

No, I don't think that one's micro (I was being vague, I like micro brewed ales and beer.) It's just the best of the ciders I can get where I am without driving to one of the bigger cities.

I would murder for the Angry Orchard Apple Cider.

Not much of a fan of Angry Orchard, lol. I typically like the more English-style ciders because they are dry and not sweet. Most of the American ciders are very sweet. However, there is a Vermont-based brewery that makes some good stuff, particularly their oak-aged. The brand is called Woodchuck. Another good American brand is Ace, especially their Joker brew. I believe they are based in California. My favorites are Strongbow (from a can only), Blackthorn (from a can only) or Magners (on tap only), all imports. If you like fruity ciders, a good one is Aspall Peronelle's Blush, which combines blackberries with the apples. That is another import from the UK. I told you I'm a cider snob. ![]()
I typically stay away from microbrewed beer - around here it all seems to be a competition of who can make the most bitter stuff. I like my beer to be smooth, full-bodied and earthy, and most importantly not bitter. If I'm buying from a store I go for my oak-aged stuff that is best sipped from a bourbon glass. If I'm at a bar I will go for Blue Moon or Guinness on tap.
In terms of other beverages, I also make the most amazing home-made coffee liqueur from white rum and whole vanilla beans. I get requests for it throughout the year, especially Christmas time. ![]()
And to tie it back to the game somewhat, have some shots of Rhiannon with her horsey:

Spoiler
Friends of mine love Woodchuck, I'm a bit more so-so on it. I like something that's neither too sweet or too dry. I don't recognize the other brands, lol. Guinness on tap is my default when I'm out, and occasionally Blue Moon. Texas had a pretty good sized German and Czech immigrant population, and a lot of the local and micro brews come from that tradition, not particularly bitter imo. When I can make it to Austin to visit friends, I usually get indulged with some of the good stuff.

Have you tried the Apple Ginger? Delicious.

Nope, will have to try some when I get home this summer. Sounds delicious.

Around here we are lucky enough to have a huge selection of cider and beer imported from the UK. I think CT has a huge distribution hub for imported alcohol. I'm also lucky enough to be within close driving distance of two huge liquor warehouses. One in particular stocks about 30 - 50 different hard ciders at the same time. They are also the only place I can find the real mead that I posted earlier, which is imported from the Netherlands.
RE Angry Orchard - the only flavor of theirs I like is their English Dry...go figure. ![]()
Oooh I also forgot to mention that another of my favorites is Woodchuck Spitter Splinter, which again...is a variation of dry English-style cider.
In terms of local microbreweries, a lot of them remind me of Sam Adams beer (which is based in Boston). Most of it is so friggen bitter - I'm not sure what's up with the taste buds around here. ![]()

Oooh I love mojitos...and screwdrivers...and bee stings...I realize I totally sound like I drink way too much...I really don't. ![]()

I do, actually. When I start it's hard to stop
Luckily I have a high tolerance so I can throw back three martinis and still seem sober. (But inside I'm feeling awesome xD)

There's also a guy on Geek and Sundry who makes "nerdy" cocktails based on games, movies, books, comics, etc.
Cooool
Generally speaking I like people to make them for me xD I don't like drinking alone either, but I might try some of these.
Ya'll are killing me with this booze talk.
When I use to drink my favs were: Sangria, Sea Breeze, Mimosa and Screwdriver.
Not a beer person but there was one lager I had while I was on vacation in Virgina years ago, it was tasty.
I have so much skittles vodka I need to get drunk before the end of term.

Ha, nah the skittles were long since dissolved in our vodka. We have a green, a blue, a yellow and a red and purple. The red and purple flavour is so weird though, there's literally like a five second delay between the flavour of the skittles and then the overwhelming taste of vodka.
Yeah I thought the same thing, and I think it's just the pic b/c normally I think Cullen looks just dandy next to lady elves ^^ Here it looks like he's being a little, um, shall we say, illegal
Just a funny angle
Really sorry to have to bring this up, but as a person of legal age with a small frame I'd prefer if we didn't resort to these generalizations of people of small stature being physically immature or inherently less appropriately romanceable. :/ I mean, I'm not super short myself but next to someone as tall as Cullen I'd probably look pretty tiny, so...
