But Melissa put a lot of work into her screenshots and even when they are not photoshoped, she used tools to find the right frame and to adjust the lighting and colouring so I would consider them as art, too. Stealing them is not okay. If someone wants to use them, he/she can ask.
I'm not Melissa, but if you tell Cullen that you will find a solution for his addiction later, after Corypheus is dealt with, and that he shall continue to take the lyrium for now, Cullen won't break off the romance.
And we have quite a few Supernatural fans in here I think, so welcome
.
'd by Lynas.
Thank you!
Mel put lots of time using Flycam to take shots from different angles compared to what you can get in-game vanilla, doing the whole setting, working on composition. That's not easy.
Please try to respect that. She's not saying she's going to sell those shots, she only wishes for other fans to respect that & not doing what in the art world we call "art theft". Please let her have the recognition from the fandom that she deserves for her works.
EDIT: ninja'd by Caja. Caja Ninja Skill +10.
Aww thank you!
How did you manage to romance him while still having him take lyrium? I thought that wasn't possible. (also, do you have links where I can read about this playthrough? I'm very curious) ((also, also, I am a huge Supernatural fan and have been in fandom for years, nice to meet someone else who loves both SPN and DA!))
Welcome! And yes, there are quite a few Supernatural fans on here. I just started Season 9 so no spoilers please!
Here's a link to my playlist on Youtube for my Templar playthough. I'm almost done with it.
Were you able to get retexture mods to work? Because I'd love to try this new patch (with the new tinting feature), but if it means sacrificing my pajama retexture then it's a big NO (for me
).
Yes, I was able to get all of my mods working just fine, including the jammy textures.
Uh...no. No screenshots can belong to anyone because they derive from a product that belongs to Bioware.
Unless she's photographing an object not legally protected by copyright and the activity is what she does for a living, then no one owns her anything.
And no, no one is disrespecting anything. Just stating why it's not theft if people repost the screenshots.
So what you're saying is that anybody who creates fanart doesn't have rights to their work?
It's called simple respect to give someone credit where it's due rather than just taking it and claiming it as your own. My screenshots are not vanilla. You can't get them unless you have several tools, and know what you're doing with them along with using the rules of composition and a photographer's "eye."
