You can make him jealous, sort of. If you have started a romance with another person before the chess scene and you choose to flirt with Cullen saying 'we should spend more time together', he would call you out: '(not exact wordings) Don't you prefer the company of XX' And you can respond him by friend-zoning him  or the-I-forget-what-it-is option.

And of course, if you are romancing others and you ask him to talk alone, he will say something like 'I thought you are...involved with someone else.'

Ah, not one for drama, our Cullen? Good for him, I guess.  ^_^ It actually fits, as I can't really imagine him bothering with stuff like that.

If you're in a relationship with Cullen, he won't have any response to you flirting with others. In fact, I don't think any of the LIs have the type of jealous reactions we've seen in other games (I'm far from an expert on all of them, though). The only thing that seems to occur is other people sometimes turning down your advances once you're in a relationship, as Raccoon mentioned.

If you're playing a female, feel free to flirt with Dorian and/or Cassandra at every opportunity. They love the attention.

This is VERY good to know!  Poor Dorian, now the man won't be safe during any part of the game.

Yeah, the flirts you get when the relationship is locked out are pretty tame, so it would be kind of weird if any of the LI's were to get jealous. IIRC in Origins it would be a more forward (or maybe not? can't remember), I believe you could actually cheat. I was way too much of a pansy to try it.

I remember playing Origins and thinking that Zev was the best friend ever until Alistair had a fit and demanded I choose between them.  Good times..

Just to clarify, since it seems there's a bit of confusion. Nudity is never OK, in or outside a spoiler tag. Posting naked  pictures inside a spoiler tag actually got someone banned. NSFW can be linked to, within reason, and should be tagged. Note also that the issue yesterday was a  link to nakedness inside a spoiler tag. Still not OK.

Oh, how the BSN has changed..  :P

Are there any restrictions on NSFW writings or is it just pics?

LOL It hasn't changed. But we see varying ... attention from the mods. NSFW is not ok, nor has it ever been. Is a mod gonna read through a story to find out if it's NSFW? Of course not. So folks should just be sensible about it. Just like any writings, it should be tagged as a matter of courtesy so folks know what they're getting themselves into and won't be embarrassed to be perusing it in front of children or co-workers. NSFW  = not safe for work.

I know :) . Sorry, I didn't word my post very well. What I meant was that there is no need to hide a picture like the one posted here . There wasn't any confusion on my part and I am aware of the rules. However, I didn't express myself clearly enough and you are right to set it straight. I was in a hurry this morning (which is a poor excuse, of course) and I will pay more attention in the future.

Greendell's paintings would literally kill me one day...

Wow, I missed a lot on the thread today. I finally got home almost an hour ago and it took me this long to read almost everything, lol, and I did manage to read a little during the day (the day was long enough without a wonky wireless connection, sigh.)

The funny thing is, I wouldn't blink twice if I found something they'd done that was NSFW. Well, I probably wouldn't read a story they wrote that was NSFW just because there are some things a mom doesn't really want to know. :P

And the drawings you posted today were wonderful! You've got a very distinctive style.

Thanks, glad you like it.

They are just super quick & super fun drawings I did in-between learning to draw more seriously (like, how to paint a face realistically? <_<  #ShadingIsFunButExtremelyFrustrating). I don't have enough skill to makes more refined stuffs for the time being.

I now tend to think that templars and mages both have magical powers but having different sources of power. Templars got their power from lyrium which is apparently alive and the templars are then connected to something old and powerful that grants them the power to 'reinforce reality'. While mages' source of power is the connection to the fade.

I am not too concerned about Cullen being bothered by the maybe-discovery but Cole's comment on templars are changed forever by in-taking lyrium worries me...a lot...

Yeah, it worries me too. A lot. I'm afraid of somehow someone would be able to control Lyrium's "Song" as Cory managed to control the Warden's Calling...

I didn't mean to single you out, Caja; sorry. There have been other questions about this so it seemed more clarification was needed. I wanted to underscore particularly here that spoiler tags don't make any difference.

Also, before folks start nit picking what I've said, there's no clear formula or recipe to what's OK and what's not. I'm not a mod, so all I can share are instructions we've been given by the devs and the trends I've seen firsthand in four years of posting on these forums. I think that's preferable to the "trial and error" method to find out what it takes to get one's self a warning or ban, or get our thread closed.

Um, where is this waterfall picture you refer to? I thought I'd seen all of hers, lol. PM me if it's questionable even linked. ;)

Yeah. The tough thing is... I see screenshots in this style all over now that more folks have flycam. And some poses are so familiar, it's really hard to tell anymore. I think it's just going to get harder and harder. (of course, see yesterday: QED)

I don't think it's questionable. He just doesn't have a shirt on. alwayshungry posted it just above at the end of her post.

Ah, I missed it, thanks! Mmm... That needs a story to go with it, especially with the expression on his face.

Yeah, I've been noticing the same thing, but not to toot my own horn or anything, I think mine have a different "look" because I usually play with all the other stuff like lighting, tone mapping, etc etc.

I hate to say this Mel, but when you're looking at those pics from a cell phone it only shows thumbnails. Personally I wouldn't be able to distinguish whether the lighting & tone had been improved or not from something that's so tiny. Honestly I don't even think many people (except photographers probably) would actually takes attention to such details. It'll all be dismissed as "Oooh hot Cullen shot!". At least I didn't take attention to details of lighting before I start to draw.

There would probably be several people inspired from your angles & took themselves those pics using flycam. You're the first but I doubt you'll be the last. How many people had emulated the Old Masters' painting subject & composition? Well... you got the answer.

Yeah, I don't mean to make a quality comparison. But I saw something to my untrained eye the other day that seemed similar to your style and made me wonder for a moment if it was yours until I saw it was originally posted by someone else I know (so unlikely to be a repost). Hopefully your watermarks will help. My fear, tho, is that it is ultimately a losing battle, so don't let it drive you to distraction.

I admit when you spend your time taking all that into account behind the camera, that's usually the first thing you notice about someone else's work. That's why I don't bother entering my stuff into competitions at local fairs and whatnot - the ones that win are usually "ooh cute baby!" and the amazingly put together pieces with stunning composition and lighting get ignored for "teh cute."
