I don't think I could ever play through the 1st ME again simply because of the all the planet grinding. Thank goodness for that wonderful site that has tons of Mass Effect saves to choose from!

Yeppers! Are you aware of the cheat to complete operations with you just changing your computer's time? I do that all the time and it completes operations with a snap.
That is one thing I love about playing on the computer now.
"What 12 hours?!? I think we need to change the clock cause I am not waiting 12 hours for a staff I need now."
Also I never played any of the ME games, just not my thing. ![]()

I actually love all the hard RPG elements in ME1, menial armor/weapon upgrading, planet grinding and fetch-questing and all.
So I don't mind all that. I'm actually looking forward to ME2 the least, it's my least favorite one in the series, and always felt like a bit of a slog to go through between 1 and 3 for me.
Anyway, I haven't touched ME at all since wrapping up my ME3 feels with Citadel, so it's been two years away from that universe for me. I think that's given me enough distance to come back fresh. I've also become a lot more ~daring~ in my roleplaying since the ole days of ME1, so there are things I can do in my recent games now that I wanna go back and try to do in that series too.
All that said, I'm considering a new ME run while at the same time updating all my mods for Skyrim, which I haven't touched in months too (since Bound by Flame and then Inquisition took over) but have recently been feeling an itch for, so... who knows.
The only thing I definitely do not feel like doing is playing Inquisition again right now. Bit burned out on the first half of the game (everything up to reaching Skyhold feels like such a draaaaag when you've done it a dozen times over), so I need to put some distance there too to be able to come back fresh when DLC comes out.

The comics don't account for the smaller choices and side quests that get reflected later in ME3 (like the Keep does for DA), so people starting from 2 tend to prefer downloading a completionist save of ME1 to get all the 1 callbacks later in 3 (assets, returning characters, etc). I know when I was burned out on 1 but wanted to try different scenarios on 2, I would use downloaded saves too because the thought of playing the whole first game all over again just to get a single different scene was... nope.

I was so excited to find how easy it is to change the time on the PS4 vs PS3 and was quick to abuse it.

I assume this is PC only? I have all the ME games on PS3.
Honestly one of the worst aspects of ME1 to me was the atrocious party AI. Always getting in front of me, shooting at rocks etc. And the planet grinds. I liked the weapon upgrade system.

Man I hate when I am gone for a few days, I am soooo lost *sigh*
I was just getting ready to redo the ME run of all 3 games myself, but at the last minute loaded up DA:O and well, what can I say except Alistair, so that's what I have been doing, lol. I keep praying for a DA:I expansion/DLC with the Warden's so I can have more Alistair. Between him and Cullen I will never need another man to romance ever (I just cannon that Hawke hooks up with Cullen after Meridith is killed, lol). I finished some new Alistair art and once I get my website done I will link and you can all see some of my DA stuff and my Mass Effect and DA dolls I make too. Before asked, I don't have Cullen made yet. It will be a bit before I can since we are moving and I have found the right face base for him yet either, but already have most of his armor done. Need to decide which IQ I want to make for him too. MY Warden I made is Queen with her King Alistair.
Anyway, on ME, I started ME2 before ever trying ME and always used the comic, but after playing ME once on import I now only play ME to import, one dumb reason is I friggin love Conrad Verner and the comic doesn't include him. I so thought the Citadel DLC should of included a meet up with Conrad if you managed to keep him alive in all 3 games. Of course there are other reasons too, but I just love Conrad so he was first to pop up in my mind, lol.
While ME 2 is my fav of the series, I get burned out on how damn much mining you have to do to upgrade.Since I seldom play on anything other than Hardcore, not upgrading is not an option, but dang is it monotonous.

I never had the comic thingy - not sure it's available for PC? Anyways, I like downloading the saves because it accounts for every possible choice and DLC.

Exactly! ME1 was a great game but the grind was just NOPE. Never again!
I'm still not bored with DA:I, but I did just buy ESO (since it's going "buy to play" a la Guild Wars 2), so I'll be off in Tamriel quite a bit. My b/f will be buying it too so we'll be able to play together.

Has ESO gone free to play yet? I know it was suppose to be this month.
I haven't played the SP DAI for awhile but pretty keen on the MP atm, probably will only last a little while longer.
I think Witcher 3 got pushed back again...
As soon as we've got a bit on extra $$ my partner will be getting DAI so we can play MP together (he's not big on games with massive amount of "story" aka romance in it lol)

Uh...
Unroll the twine a good bit. Attach one end to the ruler. Should look like a mini fishing pole. Attach the other end to the handkerchief.
Cast out the handkerchief and let it land on the ground. When someone walks by to pick it up- yank it back towards you.
Then giggle?
Yeah that is all I got.

March 17th. But if you buy now (still on the old model), you get 30 days free, and when they move over on March 17th, the account will just transfer to free to play. So for the same price I'd pay on March 17th I was able to start now.

Ok guys, I'm going to go out on a limb here. Normally I don't post my picture on forums, but I was so happy with finally making a facial "self-insert" that I just had to show you! Due to CC limitations I couldn't get the nose perfectly correct, but it's still hella close:

I was a beta tester, but never bought it because I refuse to pay for a game and sub. I told them as much during all my review questionnaires and also when they asked me why I never joined after launch. I'm glad to see they finally caught on. The game play seems to have changed somewhat as well, which is a good thing because it was very clunky in the beginning.

My partner was a beta tester and still liked it enough to get us both a copy. I refused to apply for beta testing for ESO (or any game I really look forward too) esp as it kinda ruins the feeling of the game for me when it's not up to scratch and when there is restrictions like leveling caping etc. If you love the questing/lore, it's a great game. Plus I like that "all this is new" feeling lol
EDIT: I'm an old time EQ then WoW player... game & sub is normal for me lol But yeah it was ridiculous with how buggy it was at release
