I noticed that too but I wondered how this should even work. How can you even give someone a suprise tattoo? Maybe she just meant painting the skin without needle? Maybe while Cullen is sleeping? Because with a needle would hurt and wouldn't be a surprise for long...

Yeah exactly it would end quick (unless he was drugged which is awful)  and really isn't a nice funny prank.

Yeah exactly it would end quick (unless he was drugged which is awful)  and really isn't a nice funny prank.

 

Maybe it was meant more as like our modern equivalent of drawing on the face with markers? Like maybe Sera was going to use a dye or something akin to henna? And henna can last up to two weeks on the skin.

Interesting, I didn't get that flirt option after that line with either of my Dalish, including the mage romancing him. Wonder if that's a bug or a human mage only flirt.

I think maybe it's circle-mage specific? Maybe not.

I've never had this many likes or reblogs. I suspected there would be people like me that didn't know about it, but damn. We all want more more more Cullen.

Okay, less OT: I don't know that you can still start the relationship after Arbor Wilds. IIRC I remember hearing somewhere that after both Wicked & Abyss it's nada to start relationship...?

I definitely did. I saved the "was there anyone back in Kirkwall?" flirt, and had the option to "Start romance with Cullen." So it's possible [as I also just said... ; altho, I dunno if you can finish it. I only got as far as snogging on the battlements and getting interrupted by Jim before I reloaded again. You miss out on the Chantry scene that way, tho, since it triggers as soon as you talk to him after Arbor Wilds.]

I played NWN when I was younger, pretty sure that came out over a decade ago so I'm not sure if would still hold up to my tastes now. Forewarned though the graphics are reaaaally dated.... NWN2 is a completely different game. From what I remember it reminds me of like a baseborn attempt at what Origins achieved in terms of a more narrative story with dialogue choices, and I only played it a few years ago whereas it came out before Origins. Admittedly I don't think I finished it...

I *loved* NWN, in its day, and agree. I could never get into NWN2, tho, as I couldn't stand the graphics. For me, the changes from NWN were just too much. I couldn't  get past the first few levels for my character. It made me really sad.

Oh, thanks! I saved them too. I'm still debating a qunari or Dalish for Dorian, and if I go with a Dalish, that's a good place to start.

OK here it: the link below is a spreadsheet with all the banter amongst the DAMP characters, and some of them talk about Cullen.

Lemme tell you, I love inquisition multiplayer, its party banter included. The characters are hilarious and at this point I'm probably just as interested in them as characters, as my party in single-player
 
A lot of players complain about the repetition in the multiplayer banter, but really, to hear more all you need to do is run w diverse parties. For each of the three lines? are at least 12 unique responses, all of which flesh out the characters and the interrelations of the group. Learning more about a characters past through what they say as opposed to playing through a narrative can be a really great way to tell a story. But to get the full story, the content needs to be brief enough that one person can have a chance of hearing the whole thing.
 
So, in trying to see how much nuance is tucked into the lines, like two weeks ago, I started looking for a transcription... and couldn't find anything that approached an accurate, comprehensive record of the party banter, you know, the way one exists for Inquisition single-player's dialogue and banter on the wiki.

Ok, so, about those audio files... I've kinda sorta found a way to add them back in. Downside is, I have no idea how to add a new child node to a conversation with the current method of modding EBX files (hex editing), so I just replaced the "Did you leave anyone behind in Kirkwall?" flirt that shows up for males and non-humans/non-elves (the one that shows up for female humans/elves has its own separate entry) with the "Let's do something together" option. I don't know what the two plot conditions are for this option, but with my post-Mythal save, it shows up.

 

I have no clue if there's an existing scene that goes along with this, but it feels like there should be, since it feels a bit off without one ("Hey, Cullen, let's get some fresh air while staying inside your dark office." > "Does this non-existent bird have a name? This awesome non-existent bird should have a name." / "I'm gonna say a line as if we were in mid-conversation and faded into a scene, but we weren't and we didn't."), but at least I can hear the lines in-game now?

Yeah! Those are videos I made of everything the nobles say about your romance with Cullen from the time it starts to the end. I believe there are six parts to it all.I separated them to make it easier for people to view which ever part they want. Also in the description part of the video it explains how these are activated.

 

I did notice that after I recorded those on my next play-through there was a bug to where the nobles never showed and when they did show later they say the later lines not the early ones. Guess they were off eating some Orelisan cheese.
