Somehow Destiny won best game. It was up against DAI, Monument Valley, Mario Kart 8, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Alien: Isolation. All of the other titles are a thousand times better than Destiny.

I only know the movie version with Keira Knightley (which I love btw). But after all the talk about the BBC version with Colin Firth I had a look yesterday and much to my delight I can stream it via Amazon Prime. I started yesterday with epsidoe 1 and will watch episode 2 today.

Yes, at first I also thought that this is a bit strange. But they don't have different categories for different genres. Monument Valley is a puzzle game for iOS and Android and obviously a much smaller game than the others (althought I haven't played any of them myself except for DAI so I can't really say much). Yet it was nominated. On the one hand, I like this. It means that AAA games aren't favored and that even smaller indie games have a chance to win. On the other hand, you play the nominated games on different platforms, so  the gameplay mechanics are very different (tablet vs. PC or console). Don't you compare apples and oranges here? Then again, a game is a game and as long as it's a good game should it really matter? And from what I've heard Mario Kart 8 is a very good and funny game.

OMG!!  I am soooo excited for you!!  BBC PnP was the first girlie movie that I ever LOVED!!!!!  so many great memories for me tied up with that movie!  I hope you like it!!!
