Hey, would you be able to share your SFX settings with me, particularly your LumaSharpen settings? I'm always curious as to what others are using.

 

I found a post from back in December, but wasn't sure if you're still using the same ones.

The gate guardians are a Tevinter creation. According to an (easily-missed) codex in the Western Approach, the sculptor based the design on a strange talking golem he once encountered. The golem made inquiries about magical energy and the sculptor directed him on to a mage, but never saw him again. In any case, his design was replicated throughout Thedas.

I think out of all the DA characters Cullen is the most attractive one    well Alistair too but that is just my opinion Also awesome job on the screenies

Yes the Guardians are of tevinter creation but I think it's safe to assume the tech/magic they're based on isn't. Does anyone else think that the Golem mentioned may be Shale?

Most of them had to stay inside the building, aside from senior mages like Wynne or Vivienne, of course. Do you think this was also true for templars? Do you think Cullen could have gone swimming in the Lake Calenhad? Could he have left the Kinloch Hold on his day off to go to Redcliff (that is, if there is something like a "day off", but for the sake of the argument let's asume there is)?

Probably. Templars seem to have more freedom then Mages. Remember back in Da2 with Templars? They spend their off time at the "Blooming Rose."  I still have no idea what Thrask was <Clears thoat> getting there.

 

We are talking about Cullen here, the man who loves working. I bet when he had time off, he'd use it too work more. But if he did take some time for himself, might have been for a walk or a visit to his family. Cullen did say in DAI he has not seen his family in years. Could have been when he had a day off or said "Goodbye" when he was transferred to Kirkwall-maybe both.

I'm pretty sure that Viv explains that not all mages are locked up and can never leave. She said that permission was just needed and that it varied from circle to circle. It seems like Kinloch Hold was more strict than others.

Several flowers do have a musky scent to them, more then sweet. There is a flower that blooms only once in a blue moon that smells like rotting meat,

I think it depends on the IQ. I can picture Rhiannon smelling like this:

They are all main notes of my favorite perfume - classy, strong, professional, proud, serious - Chanel No 5 (pure parfum). Then of course, add blood, leather and sweat on top of that. I'd also have to add the smell that Dorian describes, like lighting, because of the lyrium. 

 

Now, my other IQ who I haven't really introduced you guys to yet, Theo, would smell like this:

Finally have the time to try to run WE/WH. I think I'm almost finished, but I apparently failed to find several hallas, and I won't get the ending I wanted, sigh. I hate the servants' quarters, I got thoroughly lost for over an hour in there (kept reloading every time I'd figure out a route so I didn't lose approval.)

 

On the positive side, I think Derzka looks good in the red uniform.

Depending on the lighting in scenes, I'll use the Color Correction options from the flycam program to play around with brightness and contrast (e.g. the war table screenshots), and sometimes saturation (e.g. the lake screenshots).

 

Also, when it comes to Cullen, some mods: HD Eye Textures (lore friendly version), a 5k version of Cullen's armor (retextured the fur mantle), and a 3k version of Cullen's facial textures with some tweaks.

Depending on the lighting in scenes, I'll use the Color Correction options from the flycam program to play around with brightness and contrast (e.g. the war table screenshots), and sometimes saturation (e.g. the lake screenshots).

 

Also, when it comes to Cullen, some mods: HD Eye Textures (lore friendly version), a 5k version of Cullen's armor (retextured the fur mantle), and a 3k version of Cullen's facial textures with some tweaks.

 

 

Hmm. I thought you had to turn off PPA in game in order to get 1.5 to work.
