So my question is, which place calls to you?  Where would you live? Which flags decorated your hall?  Where are you and Cully going on vacation? 

 

 

I really love the sound of the sea waves, or stay near a waterfall. I think my quizzy will live in Jader (if i'm not wrong) and for vacation, go somewhere like mountain with some forest near Brecilian Forest or Wild Arbor.

OK Cullen thread, got a fun question for ya!

I have always loved Fereleden...whenever I get poetic or I want to write in the Dragon age universe, I feel like a Ferelden. I put on my tunic and lambswool, reach down and pet my trusted mabari, and dust the dried mud from my leather boots. I look out my window and see a grey sky hinting at rain and I smile. I have to get to the tavern soon, and I plan to drink until I am singing. I am Ferelden to the bone (but my momma was Rivani...so I,of course, have a hidden necklace under my tunic that was blessed by a seer).

But I wonder. what about the rest of you? Are there some Free Marchers out there, who love freedom and independence above all? Or some Orlesians, who love the game and all its subtleties? Or perhaps a few Rivanis or Antivans? Any Qunari?

So my question is, which place calls to you? Where would you live? Which flags decorated your hall? Where are you and Cully going on vacation?


Also...do you guys think this would be a fun question for the BSN page? It makes me nervous to post anything...out there...

I hail from the Golden Towers of Asariel. Born with skin of a darker hue, I soon found myself to be a bit of a traveler. My greatest adventures were to be had within the sands of Rivain and Antiva, where I sold my magical talents as a mercenary. And in the hot summer weather of Rivain, I met the pirate captain who stole my heart forever.

...to be more specific, the files were discovered and ripped from the game by fontofnothing. This person on tumblr took them and combined them.

To be even more specific - fontofnothing posted them here, then I asked her permission to post just the "Honestly, I couldn't take my eyes off of you." mp3. She said yes and I did linking to her BSN profile for credit. Suddenly Tumblr went nuts wanting to hear the rest of the files, so Shiva, another user and I all added the Mediafire link to the zipfile that fontofnothing provided. THEN another user compiled all of the mp3's into one audio file on a separate Tumblr post for those who were having trouble with the download. I honestly had no idea that nobody had heard those since I'm usually way late to the party on this stuff and I mainly wanted to geek out about the "Honestly" bit!

 

What I should have done is posted the zipfile to begin with, with Font's link, and also posted the transcriptions. Whatever.

Im gonna give my 2 cents on this one.... umm YOU are NOT   a "random bsn nobody"  you are a modder, you've made some  awesome stuff, and you SHOULD get credit for spending all this time to find  all these files, I know how much of a pain in the arse is to go through all the assets to find anything.....

 

I don't have tumblr (well i did made an acc last year i think and only used it once and gave up on it)  but to those who do, PLEASE credit her! Its not an easy task to dive into all those files and expect to find something  in a blink of an eye

Well that is what my mind drummed up.

I like your second option. Pillow talk before starting the day would be perfect, and it doesn't have to be anything lurid, but would definitely make the romance richer, even if its the same cut scene everytime. Even just hearing them from downstairs with the camera pointed at the ladder would be something . Maybe someone can mod that to happen?? just the mp3 playing with a still shot of Cullen's office pointed at the top of the ladder! No crazy animated scenes needed!! Oooooo

I think the different countries in Thedas are fascinating but since I tend to play self-inserts I can't really imagine myself as a character who hails from any of them. My own headcanon involves wormholes, dimension-traveling, and stargate/mass-relay type devices, and I'm some sort of outsider who travels to/exists in different times and places at once. I've clearly enjoyed too much space sci fi ;-;

 

But I do imagine that characters in Dragon Age would find my tastes rather Ferelden

Aw, thank you!  I do expect people to always give credit where it's due, but Tumblr's funny about that, and names/links easily get lost (or ignored), especially when you're putting something out there that you can't really put an obvious watermark on. I knew the risks of having the audio put up on Tumblr, and I don't want anyone, especially Thane4Ever, feeling bad about anything. Feel free to let people know who found the files, though. I certainly have no problem with that!  I'm still just happy that so many people enjoyed the audio!

I can't find your OP on the forums so I'll just answer here I think, of all the places I've heard described, Antiva and Antiva city sound glorious. I think it was described in Last Flight too? Just nestled against the water, surrounded by vineyards and the city itself marble and grande...I like the idea of smelling salty sea air and hearing waves break on the coast. For vacation, I'm a fan of roughing it so Cullen and quizzy would trek to Arlathan forest and nestle in the woods for days on end.
