I also assumed Sera's responses to Solas were due to her being an elf in general, not necessarily special.
I wonder if Dagna is a reincarnation of theTitans.
Who?

Like Matt in The Vampire Diaries? I haven't watched it in forever but I always hoped he'd stay human.
Or Cami from The Originals.
I wish Cullen lived next door to me.

Lolz perfect gif.
I don't think average would be a word I would use to describe Cullen though... While he may not be like out there like some of the companions, he is the commander of one of the most powerful armies in Thedas, no? Plus I think his whole lyrium shpeal makes him stand out quite a bit.
I absolutely love how much lore was in DAI especially about the ancient elves, it really sucked me in.
Unfortunately, I tend not to remember in detail things and have to rely on others lol
I also end up with more questions than answers.
Like for me, it still isn't certain which story is correct about the taint/darkspawn & it's origins (and now my belief that lyrium is connected to it all). I really like the mystery in game for my characters but personally I want the facts & 100% truth/knowledge of it all... this still bugs me even with people's arguements for & against either Chantry's & Cory's version. Maybe both are correct but I want to know which is it!
BTW I will no endeavour to read all patch notes haha...

I just wish there was party banter about his romance. Otherwise, I love it.

Oh no, Cullen with cute puppies. Its too adorable
On the what-the-bloody-hell-is-sandal discussion do we know if it’s possible/impossible for dwarves to get possessed by spirits? I know they can’t dream because they’ve lost their connection to the fade but so have the tranquil and they can still be possessed. It could be that Sandal is possessed by something, maybe a spirit of wisdom allowing him to foresee/know things no other person does.
Barely any of the companions were there at all, if we start going down that line of dismissal.
Is it? Carver/Bethany do get affected by the taint, so the risk is there.
I think they've done a bit of handwaving as far as the blight goes. You have people who are infected after one encounter, but your companions can get soaked in in but still not contract it. But Leliana's the only companion or former companion that has had it specifically pointed out. It may mean nothing, of course, they aren't precisely the most consistent in their lore, but I was pointing to her with a collection of other unique individuals.
DG has addressed this for DA:O, that the fact that no one in your party contracts the taint is gameplay trumping lore.

Yes it is possible. During the events of the calling fiona et all encounter a dwarven thaig with a grand throne room, all the dwarves are corpses trying to hold the door shut (and run from the throne in the centre of the room) and on the other side a tonload of darkspawn corpses. On the throne is the corpse of a dwarven prince, when they get close to it a demon emerges in the corpse and attacks. It states that it was summoned by the dwarven prince in a desperate attempt to destroy the darkspawn and has been waiting for a new host ever since they all died.

You know, stating it like this makes me wonder about something else. Why do the tranquil lose all their emotions when they're cut off from the Fade instead of just losing their magic? I mean, if the dwarves are in the same situation, it seems weird. Unless in mages somehow your brain is wired differently and your personality is also tied to your Fade connection/ability to dream.

Not impossible. Did not a dwarf get possessed by a demon in The Calling?
So it's possible that Sandal is possessed, but I personally do not think that he is.

That’s something that’s never made much sense to me either. It could be to do with the lyrium, maybe it effects mages differently to non-mages. Whereas in non-mages it causes memory loss it could be that it causes a loss of emotions.

Well, the dwarves are different though in comparison to Tranquil. They still have emotion.
As for non dwarves losing emotions when Tranquil, I would say that the emotions part is perhaps more closely tied to the loss of your dreams. Also, since Tranquility is forced upon a person, that might explain the more violent taking of emotions, versus dwarves who were simply born without a Fade connection.
Who?
Kieran mentions them, the Titans are apparently somehow related to the dwarves in some fashion, but we're not sure who or what they are?
My own pet theory is that they might be the metal giants like the one encountered by a Tevinter sculptor in the Western Approach, which inspired him to create the Gate Guardians we see dotted across the Western Approach, Tevinter Ruins and in Kirkwall's Gallows? While it might have been a colossal golem and we've been told that they can be built that large (the Minrathous Juggernauts for example), we've never seen a Golem ever need to ingest lyrium to survive before?
On topic meanwhile... all that art of Cullen with a mabari makes me think he definitely needs one? No Fereldan should be without a dog!

WAIT, KIERAN MENTIONS THE TITANS TOO?!?!?!?
WAIT, when Dagna spoke in the video I mentioned earlier, she mentions feeling "taller" like a mountain. Perhaps she did something to recall her ancestral origins???
Edit: the video I mentioned

He mentions them to a dwarf Inquisitor.
Kieran: You're very short. Mother didn't say you were a dwarf.
Cadash: You caught me. And I was trying so hard to be taller.
Kieran: But you can't be taller, not without the Titans.

Bless you, Kieran.
I'm cackling like a maniac now. It's starting to come together!
Perhaps the dwarves of the Primeval Thaig weren't "dwarves" as we know them. What if they were actually Titans? What if Titans were the ancient versions of dwarves that could actually utilize forms of magic?
