Mmmm... thing is... it's not fully stolen. The embraces are both verrry different. The animators did a bang up job of getting the animations fully in character. *sigh* Cullen kisses you like he's trying to catch lightning in a bottle before both he and you chicken out and miss the moment. Solas wraps his arms around you like he's testing if you're real and wants to have something for himself for just that one instant.

I usually have them on, too, but I guess I didn't that early in my Cullen PT (which was my first). Then, I wanted "clean" screenshots. These days... I want a record of every potentially important word.

A bit OT but should I make this guy in greyscale full rendering (very rough style) or cartoony coloured simple shading with dramatic light? I'm doing one full rendering of Cullen & this guy below just happened yesterday. I love his face... And my BF does not want me to draw him with my substandard skill so f*ck him and I'll just draw this guy & more Cullen.

Could try cell shading since it's faster and if you don't like how it's coming out you can go for rendering.
Good idea, just hoping that this time I can stop at cell shading. Last time I tried to do cell shading it turned out being a full rendering before I understood what happened

I've got a lore question for you guys. So we know what happened with Cullen when he was tortured by the desire demon more or less. But he wasn't possessed right. Is there any indication as to what happens to non mages when they're possessed? I tried looking it up but it only said that they look for multiple suicides with like despair demons to know if theres possession involved. It also basically said it isn't the person's fault so it can happen to anyone I guess. So is it like the stereotypical possession that we normally think of? Like influence or is it pure mind control. And do we know if there's any chance of a cure? I know with mages there's the litany or something. I'm asking for a potential story I may or may not write....

A possessed mage becomes an abomination...but Connor in DAO is possessed without becoming an abomination and a mage can go into the fade and confront the demon that controls him. So...I don't know if that works when a mage becomes an abomination, because I do not know if Connor was technically an abomination or not. Another thing is Wynne and Anders, who are both mages and both have a "spirit" in them, whihc is technically a demon, according to Solas, but an unccorrupted one...so still a spirit.
I THINK Elu told me that anyone can get possessed but mages are like a beacon to spirits...they got high "shine" in the fade compared to non-mages. I would assume that one could enter the fade and confront the possessing demon the same as one did with Connor. But then again, Anders couldn't seem to get rid of Justice...so I don't really know.
Anyway, hopefully someone with more in-depth understanding can help you out!!!

Well, that's kinda false about Connor. He was an abomination. When a mage is possessed, they are an abomination, full stop. Upper level demons though have capacity to keep the original form of their host and not go monstrous like some demons do, so that's why Connor looked normal.
Wynne and Anders are abominations as well, the only difference is that they were possessed by benevolent spirits, though Anders of course technically plays host to a demon by DA2.
