...? That is precisely what I was saying. (THIRD EDIT: And I don't mean to snap at you! I'm just saying that my whole point was that it's annoying that EA suits seem to have tied our favorite devs' hands on this whole thing and while the deal itself makes financial sense, not being allowed to say how long the wait will be doesn't make much sense at all.)Welcome to game dev, where half of the legal mumbo jumbo and red tape doesn’t even make sense to or is even wanted by the devs. Believe me they probably want to tell PS4 users when it's coming but someone from legal is breathing down their necks.
EDIT:
I bought my current-gen console just for DA:I and found out about the timed exclusives like a week after I bought it. (I think the EA / MS deal had been announced but nothing explicit about DA had been said and I hadn't put two and two together about BW being part of EA.) Such a bummer. I'm still glad I have PS4, though, because more of my friends are on it; Diablo and DAMP with my high school best friend is worth having to wait a bit for Hakkon et al.PS4 people got screwed so hard with this. I am not pleased by it...even though I realized that it was coming after I got over my excitement and read the rest of the posts. I got DAI on my PC and I have to upgrade it a bit and then I need to get my canon IQ over there...so...I will not be playing the DLC for quite some time.
FURTHER EDIT: And I'm glad PC is apparently part of the deal, at least! That'll give me a motivation to do a duplicate canon playthrough on there when I have some free time.
