Welcome to game dev, where half of the legal mumbo jumbo and red tape doesn’t even make sense to or is even wanted by the devs. Believe me they probably want to tell PS4 users when it's coming but someone from legal is breathing down their necks.

...? That is precisely what I was saying. (THIRD EDIT: And I don't mean to snap at you! I'm just saying that my whole point was that it's annoying that EA suits seem to have tied our favorite devs' hands on this whole thing and while the deal itself makes financial sense, not being allowed to say how long the wait will be doesn't make much sense at all.)

PS4 people got screwed so hard with this. I am not pleased by it...even though I realized that it was coming after I got over my excitement and read the rest of the posts. I got DAI on my PC and I have to upgrade it a bit and then I need to get my canon IQ over there...so...I will not be playing the DLC for quite some time.

I bought my current-gen console just for DA:I and found out about the timed exclusives like a week after I bought it. (I think the EA / MS deal had been announced but nothing explicit about DA had been said and I hadn't put two and two together about BW being part of EA.) Such a bummer. I'm still glad I have PS4, though, because more of my friends are on it; Diablo and DAMP with my high school best friend is worth having to wait a bit for Hakkon et al.

FURTHER EDIT: And I'm glad PC is apparently part of the deal, at least! That'll give me a motivation to do a duplicate canon playthrough on there when I have some free time.

I've been waiting for more Avvar lore since Awakening so I am very excited...I...just...can't...play it...DAMN YOU EA AND YOUR HATRED OF PS4! *sobs*

 

It's no consolation, but even though I'm on PC and can buy it tomorrow, I can't actually play it until at least next week or later either (rough week at work), so I'll be sitting there with you PSers in your sad no DLC corner for a while too. *passes sad beer*

Huh. Reading over the notes for Patch 6, which also came out today, spotted this:

 

• Fixed issue that could break the “Perseverance” quest in certain circumstances.

So it shouldn't take a bunch of juggling cutscenes and conversations around anymore to get both Cullen's and Sera's personal quests and full approval/romance without breaking either one or the other.

I created a character for the purpose of romancing Curly today.

Did anyone else pick "charge with the troops" when you first meet Roderic just because that way your character can meet Cullen a little sooner?

Also... I wonder how people have used the "vows of celibacy" dialogue option.

I'm not sure myself, but some consider it harassing.

I always pick charge with troops, that group up in the mountain pffft they can handle themselves. Nothing tops checking out Cullen's behind. 

 

I usually wait a while before using the celibacy question. You know, don't want to sound too forward though my finger is often poised over it tentatively. I hold off on it til I get to Skyhold usually, after the chess game if I can wait that long. That way at least he knows without a doubt I am interested and by that time you know, you should really know what's what for.....reasons:)

I picked "charge with the troops" even though for some stupid reason based on one of the previews we got I thought it would mean meeting him later. Was really happy with the surprise! As for the "vows" thing, yeah, I wish the players and other characters didn't have so many opportunities to sexually harass him and never get called out on it, in DA:O and throughout DA:I. At least he somehow escaped the trademark horribly insensitive Hawkeward flirts.

Best leader was the Warden. So, out of four possible slots, three are occupied by DA:O characters... Says something, doesn't it?

Yeah, it is very tempting. But if you do it too soon your character just comes off as someone who's horny 24/7.

I really don't see that as being sexually harassing. It's a flirty question albiet very forward. Damn, my warden was questioning Alistair's virginity a lot more bluntly lol.

I choose both options.

 

Charge with the Soilders....drool over Cullen. Then reload and go the other way.

 

As for the celibacy flirts - hell yes I ask him! Every time! I am not shy nor is my character, Plus the way Cullen answers gives me a giggle.

 

I never have my character flirt with anyone but Cullen. Thus if there is an option to flirt with Cullen, I take it.

My team would have been:- Inquisitor with Nathaniel/Cole (depending on whether I was a mage or melee), Alistair and Dorian. Oh well lol.

I don't really see it as harassment either. A personal question yes, but I kinda get the feeling it's a very common question asked of the Templars.
