I was expecting this, sadly. It's one of several reasons that still has me feeling disappointed about Cullen not being a companion. Probability of having a role in DLC (beyond maybe recycled dialogue at the War Table) = very low.

Yeah I too want Cullen as a companion in a DLC. Hell, I went so far as asking Bri if it was at all possible - no response, of course. From what I am reading others who are playing this DLC say its not worth the $15.00. Not surprising. EA/Bioware loves over-charging.

 

Maybe will get lucky and one of the other DLCs with have Cullen as a companion <cross fingers and toes>.

Yes, the Tapestry says that Seb fell deeply in love with Hawke while still sworn to the Chantry. But there was no sugaaaaaaarrrr Now I wanna play DA2 again, and romance him on the rivalry path. My imagination can fill in the blanks

Yeah, it is very tempting. But if you do it too soon your character just comes off as someone who's horny 24/7.

 

FYI, you can keep that flirt after you have started the romance with Cullen. I find it to be a more appropriate timing for that question (though his responses are the same)

 

 

I find myself tempted to peek into the DLC thread... But I would not do so (yet). For folks who are enjoying the DLC, how is it? Is it set before end game? How long does it last? Any new banter/character interactions? So many questions.. I blame you PS4!!!! 

 

edit: and it seems the final mosaic piece was de-bugged with the lastest patch. I guess can finally finish my completionist PT after the DLC release..

Massive NAY for my DLC excitement going straight through the floor. They'd REALLY better rectify that in future instalments

Well that really stinks - I'm stuck on Patch 5 til they figure out how to get mods working with Patch 6, which also means no DLC. I could deal with going back to vanilla on everything, except those eyebrows. If I do that, Rhiannon will have some funky catercharpillers and I wouldn't be able to stand to look at her.

It is kind of funny because I always play everything on xbox, like the previous 2 Dragon Age games. And I do have an xbox one, but ended up playing DAI on PS4, and go figure I have to wait indefinitely to play that DLC now.

It sounds like this DLC may have been based on content cut from the game which if true could turn out to be a good thing as this could mean that they’re working on other more story/companion heavy DLC while finishing off this one for release.

I wonder if it'll take longer for modders to update everything since bioware is fully aware they're modding and spidey sense says they don't like it!!

not sure I'm a fan of the cut content concept, that's always been dangerous for Bioware and im thinking javik. Maybe the same thing was thought of Shale? They just so obviously fit right into the world and main plot that there was outrage we'd have to pay more for it.

I don't know if I'd feel outrage with dAI though, just because there already is so much content and they clearly ran out of time, $ or all of the above as evident in the abrupt ending scene.... $15 is a but much imo tho...
