Cool.
However before breaking out the "Woohoo" I wonder if we can get confirmation if this is towards your romance or towards just standard job talk.
Grrr. Now this is going to nibble at my brain.
I hope this is because i'm romancing cullen (Banter about the romance with advisor (Cullen/Josy) is non-existent...) ~
I don't have any other save (no cullen) to try with. Maybe someone who got one can try to trigger it ![]()
Yay, thank you! I can get my heart broken AND still have a happy ending! I suppose I still need to run a Dalish rogue...@Tishina and anyone who needs to know, the Solas/Cullen romance bug still works as of patch 5 that is

I'm totally going to do this with my Dalish archer lol.
Or we could just ask one of the dev’s if there is any romance related banter in the DLC.
No need to bother them. From what I have seen there's none at all.Or we could just ask one of the dev’s if there is any romance related banter in the DLC.
Hopefully, they won't divert anyone from things that need fixing for the polyamory bug, which is really nothing more than an unintentional mod. Sounds like rogue will be class of the day for Solas-Cullen polymancers.I'm totally going to do this with my Dalish archer lol.
Any suggestions on which companions to bring for best comments & banters? Cass then?
(now that I'm home and not hammering at a phone keyboard, a proper reply)
For rogues, I'd go with Sera. She has some interesting commentary on the Avaar culture as you go through the mission, and her archer/evasion/Tempest abilities are gold against these higher level enemies. I've heard from a friend who took Varric that all he does is complain about everything (as Zero mentioned), so that doesn't sound as interesting as Sera's sharp comparisons between the Avaar and the Dalish tribes. Cole probably has some great insight too, as he usually does, but since his combat is so broken, I'm guessing he'll do pretty poorly against these new mobs unless you have him really well specced and equipped for late game combat (lots of +Guard on hit, chance of Hidden Blades, high evasion, etc).
For mages, I'm pretty happy with Dorian in the party, as there are a lot of references to Tevinter throughout the DLC, and he always has something insightful to add. He also throws a lot of shade at the Avaar and that's always fun, too. ; ) Although I'm not sure it's worth having a second mage in the party in case you're playing as one yourself (which I think you are IIRC?), because the new mobs tend to be heavy on melee and sudden aggro switching. It might be more interesting to have two tanks pulling aggro back to them and building up guard, or two rogues with high evasion/survivability (I'm running with two archers, and their ability to strafe, poison and stealth is what's keeping the party up more often than not). Still, Dorian gives good commentary, so if you can afford a less optimal party, he's a good option to take along for world space banter.

I've got Sera and she's great chatter and combat-wise. Haven't tried Cole but those super duper daggers with 5 guard on hit (I've found two so far) are very tempting. It honestly feels like the best weapons to be found are for dw rogues and two-handers. So far nothing beats the Bow of the Griffon damage-wise. And my staves are homemade ;] As for party composition, I am sporting two mage party on normal and it's easy peasy, but it definitely helps having Cass with her focus power and having 5 guard on one of my staves. I am saving Dorian (
) for my main quizzy, who is still hanging out somewhere in the hissing wastes with her modded brows ![]()
I have just noticed those big a$$ icons under our avatars, lol *easilyamused*
I found a sword & a staff that was powerfull too.
I'll try to re-do the DLC with different people too to see different banter etc...

I haven't found a better 1h than what I already have, as for staves I just checked and I've got two: Accuser's Staff and Scepter of Razikale. The former has cold damage, which is not super useful against most of the enemies there (and ironically my 5+ guard has cold damage as well), the latter needs some rune but otherwise seems ok. I've got 5 unique two-handers though and keep piling Savage Thorns with 5guard on hit for dw :] Haven't used the new crafting materials yet.
Hey! You guys with the DLC! Is there new armor...as in, new fabric for mages?
Edit - Lookeee! I have icons now too!!! I always wanted icons under my image!! (I have ME1 as well, but it is not registering...hmmm). What fun! I feel like a big girl now! ![]()
I would strongly, strongly recommend taking Cassandra, cause she gets some great lines towards the end.

So far nothing beats the Bow of the Griffon damage-wise.
The Longbow of the Griffon has the highest raw damage, and it goes even higher with a good rune, but it doesn't have the best specs. You can craft a better bow with T3 schematics yourself. It does have the unique feature of shooting three arrows per shot, though, so it's still the best bow for mobs and damage sponge bosses like dragons.
I saw a schematic for a T4 bow for sale on a certain merchant, but haven't bought it yet in hopes of it dropping on loot. Will probably have to go buy and craft it before the DLC ends and I have no use for it anymore, though. ![]()

Yeah, I'm running on Nightmare, and while I'm not having a lot more difficulty with this than the basegame, it's mostly due to the virtually unkillable party setup I have on this character (Artificer IQ, Tempest Sera, Necromancer Dorian, and Champion Blackwall). I'm thinking when I switch to my mage, who has a different "best party" I'll have to crank the difficulty all the way down to acommodate two mages and possibly no rogue.
I've been having a much harder time since I swapped Blackwall for Cassandra in hopes of more commentary (because Cass is just not as unkillable as BW), but alas, Cass does have much better banter than him on this area. It's worth the harder combat.

I wanna know why my ME1 icon isn't showing...
I had all the ME games registered to the Legacy BSN, it's weird that I'm missing just that one icon.
My new armor:

Such an awesome looking armor...

Cograts ;]
Yeah, there are new T4 materials (I found 3 types of cloth so far, 3 leather - including one that removes class restriction, and 1 metal).

Nope. I got a T4 Staff Schematic from a veilfire rune.
