The Longbow of the Griffon has the highest raw damage, and it goes even higher with a good rune, but it doesn't have the best specs. You can craft a better bow with T3 schematics yourself. It does have the unique feature of shooting three arrows per shot, though, so it's still the best bow for mobs and damage sponge bosses like dragons.
 
I saw a schematic for a T4 bow for sale on a certain merchant, but haven't bought it yet in hopes of it dropping on loot. Will probably have to go buy and craft it before the DLC ends and I have no use for it anymore, though.

I can't craft a better bow yet, since I haven't scavenged for more schematics with this pc. I don't think I will bother on this difficulty. But good point about the spec, I might swap it every now and then depending on the circumstances.

Yeah, I'm running on Nightmare, and while I'm not having a lot more difficulty with this than the basegame, it's mostly due to the virtually unkillable party setup I have on this character (Artificer IQ, Tempest Sera, Necromancer Dorian, and Champion Blackwall). I'm thinking when I switch to my mage, who has a different "best party" I'll have to crank the difficulty all the way down to acommodate two mages and possibly no rogue.
 
I've been having a much harder time since I swapped Blackwall for Cassandra in hopes of more commentary (because Cass is just not as unkillable as BW), but alas, Cass does have much better banter than him on this area. It's worth the harder combat.

My nightmare quizzy is a blast in the base game but in this dlc I've had a few encounters that could cause issues without prior knowledge. I can imagine it's a good dlc for archers with lots of elevation and long distance views. Can't wait to try it with my Dalish girl. Funnily enough Cassandra for me is practically unkillable on nightmare (same goes for Blackwall). They are just so awesome.
 

I wanna know why my ME1 icon isn't showing... I had all the ME games registered to the Legacy BSN, it's weird that I'm missing just that one icon.

I wish I could help you. I am amazed that my ME1 and 2 are actually showing since the old forum never registered I owned those games and as far as I remember I could never post in their respective subforums. Alas, now it decided to play fair.

Nope. I got a T4 Staff Schematic from a veilfire rune.

Ugh, how do you manage to find those runes. I recall at least two instances when I found veilfire but could not find anything I could interact with. Hence I was running with those blasted torches forever before finally giving up. I will probably revisit some places if I remember. T4 schematic sounds good, I could test it on Cory since I will have to redo his battle on this quizzy.

Is in the Hakkonite ice camp, right after you reach the first bonfire in the entrance hall. There should be an avenue to the right as you go down the stair. Bring the Veilfire and there should be a raised platform, diagonally pointed toward you. The rune is on the raised structure.

The one that got me was there was an entire convo after the Ser Alrick/Dissent quest.

 I had Anders with Hawke and the snark on both sides was kind of amazing. I was like, how are we all standing here not getting arrested? Cullen? But he does make quite a few comments in Act 2 about how much he's disliking Meredith - they had him walk a really fine line of decent/wounded guy and total d***. Quite happy the former won out on his personality. Anyhow, it was interesting to see all this stuff I'd totally missed.

lol, I just meant Ninetozero's big M. I actually have ME1 and 2, and have played far enough through 1 to have most of the companions, but I've never played it while logged into Origins. If the symbols showed up for me, I'd be worried, lol.

Oh that line? Yeah. It is a romance line. Basically, it said like "I don't know how to explain to Cullen that you fell to your death from the trees".

Ok so kind of random but related to DLC. I haven't seen anyone mention it on here (I don't think, sorry if it's been brought up.) But it just popped up on my dash. Yesterday someone tweeted Mark Darrah, about Black Emporium. And he responded, "likely will be early May." Then, "free for sure." This was screenshotted but when I went to check his twitter I couldn't find these, so I'm not sure what that means. However, I did see other interesting comments in regards to Hakkon, "We will be watching feedback on this kind of storytelling closely." He also mentioned stuff about recent (PC) patches including something about a walk toggle and mouse bindings? Now I have to go and look.

I haven't finished it yet, so I can't say. Others are saying it's cool, but not awesome. Maybe not worth $15. But. I will say that... I almost cried when I loaded up my endgame Lavellan and... Solas was still unselectable. Sooooo.... downshifted to my Cullenmancing Trev, and I guess she'll check out the DLC. *sniff*sniff* But I'm officially far less excited now.

Ummm, you could load a save from right before the final battle and choose Solas, no?

 

 

But yes, I do agree that is definitely NOT worth a 15$ price. That seriously irritates me. Perhaps I'd be more forgiving if we actually had some new banter and character interactions, but nope.
