I'm never going to get any pictures under my avatar because all my games are under my partners EA account. Hmmmf.

I downloaded the DLC as soon as it came out but havent played it yet  I've actually been running around collecting shards instead. I'm ashamed of myself.

Good. Collect every shard you can in the DLC's area, cause you get something out of it.

I am kinda hesitant to post this on here because, well... I'm surrounded by awesome artists and fanfic writers but I'm just going to leave this here.

I was inspired by adiostemplar's screenshot of Cullen during the Wicked Grace scene. (Stupid link won't let me link it!)
 It's that one.--> http://adiostemplars...age/11440522268

To be honest, I think this is actually one of fontofnothing's screenshots, especially since you can see the higher-rez Cullen texture.

That user has taken a couple of my screenshots as well.

Yeah, some people are really great about giving credit and reblogging rather than just taking - others, not so much.

That user took one of my older Cullen shots about a month ago and had the gall to add a watermark. I sent her something (was completely civil and nice) and never got a response. That was before I started adding my little watermark. Since I started doing that things have gotten much better. Granted, it's easy to 'shop out, but locks are meant to keep honest people honest, ya know?

I started adding my imgur url to screenshots a few weeks ago, and I seriously considered sticking it right in the middle of Cullen's face  (or at least right next to it). I decided not to, because I didn't want it to get in the way if someone wanted to use the screenshots for something, so I stuck the url in the corner. At least they'd know where to link to when they credit, yeah? Guess not.

Hmm, probably if you post in on Tumblr on your own account that might help. You don't have to follow anyone or participate in discussions, just throw it on the stream but with your own term.

I'm really conflicted about making a Tumblr account. I'm just now starting to use my previously unused Twitter account (for following/browsing so far, no tweeting/favoriting/retweeting), and some of the things I've seen/read (especially in search results) are making me wish that I'd just ignored Twitter completely.

I noticed that if you don't post something up on Tumblr first, some folks seem to take that as permission to just use the picture as they see fit, no matter how "not cool" that is. I created Tumblr and Flickr just for that reason. I add my Tumblr address on each of my NPC shots as well as a watermark with my initials right next to the face. I honestly don't care if it gets in the way for someone. That way, it's a reminder to give credit if someone chooses to 'shop it out. I've noticed though that most folks are now reblogging my shots rather than just posting them, which is how it should be.

I don't use Twitter at all. I have an account just so I can view stuff that you guys are talking about (like GE stuff), but other than that I don't use it. I really never understood the point of Twitter...or anything else like it. I guess I'm an old fart...at 33...

I second Melissa. Better you put it first on Tumblr rather than someone else. I think that many people associate the image to the first person who put it on the stream. It can even backfire to you if they saw adiostemplar's first then see yours. Sadly it's harder (for me at least) to recognize the photographer's style compared to artworks. I can easily distinguish Greendelle's works, McGee's, Emegustart's, Picchar, Sirius, Nika's, Lilyrutherford's etc even if the signature are cut out because on artwork the style change much much more. The only thing that helps me distinguish Mel's shots compared to other people's screenshots are the way she always crop the image from landscape to portrait for most parts.

But it's as you wish, Tumblr is... not like BSN. It's hellishly more scarier but also a great place to find amazing works & see how the artistic world doing out there in general.

And I'm 25 and I don't use twitter either XD

It seems that twitter is much more responsive & less artworks & fics etc.

The only reason I had a Twitter account to begin with was because there was a Photoshop extension I wanted, and you had to share it on Twitter or Facebook in order to download it. Then I thought that following all of the people I had bookmarked would be easier, since they'd all be in one convenient spot.

Anyway, getting me to create a new account for something is like pulling teeth. I already have one full page (front and back) of passwords and usernames for a ridiculous amount of accounts, so I weep at the thought of adding another one just to improve my chances of receiving credit... but I might have to.

Just wanted to add that I actually don't crop anything. I have a tool that lets me change aspect ratios to anything I wish on the fly. So I can get lovely portraits without cropping anything at all. My shots are 100% un-edited, short of adding a watermark and resizing for Tumblr posts. But the stuff I put up on Flickr is full-size.  :D

I've got about 20 years on you so you aren't allowed to be an old fart yet :P

But I don't get Twitter either. I find it hard to navigate and poorly organized and almost impossible to find what I really want to view/read.

Summary of the social networks I know:

- Facebook: where all my RL friends & family try to see what my life looks like. Only RL friends & family here. Try to make my life seem nice & glossy. No Cullen.

- Twitter: uncontrollable place where people rejoice on everything & anything & being rude to one another & use one million words to say nothing. Not much Cullen but lots of coffee so some appeal there.

- Tumblr: scary place, lots of anon hate for no reason, but also great place to see artworks & fics & sometimes great discussions. Lots of Cullen.

- BSN Cullenite: discussion place. Controlled, much less responsive however & sometimes censured. Lots of Cullen. Only Cullen actually. Sometimes Alistair, Krem, Dorian, Solas.

- Linked In: place where I try to keep my serious image as best as it can be. Zero Cullen. Cullen is unwanted here.

- Instagram; place where my best friend keeps bugging me to come to to see her photos she took last week end. I still don't see what's interesting about this site since my BFF will show me the whole thing by mails plus commentary in phone in any case. No Cullen on her instagram, not at least until I manage to make her play DA games (soooooon...)

- Deviant Art: best one. Lots of artworks & fics, lots of Cullen, constructive feedback (more or less). Thousands of Cullen. Cullen. And Cullen again.

That's pretty much all I know.

What's your username in Tumblr anyway? So many people are using different names. About Seb week, post your WIPs probably? Well, any art on that sexy cheekbones are great. Actually I fangirl him even without having played his scenes (those damned bugs). That sexy cheekbones & voice win...

My tumblr url is *drumroll*... ninetozero! :P

And you're right, I can probably post a WIP marked as draft, or some odds and ends in the form of ficlets and vignettes. Anything to contribute to the Seb love. ^_^

There's a patch linked on the wikia to fix that Exiled Prince/Legacy bug, by the way. I haven't needed it myself, but I've heard it still works (since there aren't any more official patches, the fan patch shouldn't bug out). It's worth trying it out to at least get his scenes in the game. (of course I'm terribly biased, so I'd say any workaround is worth it to Seb in your game ;) )

A person's tumblr experience is Dependant upon who they follow. You don't have to go through the tags or even search. And you'll find hateful anons on any platform. You could always disable anon or disables asks altogether. Deviantart is dying IMO. A lot of artists have moved strictly to tumblr. Of the people I've followed and knew of - there's a lot less now than there was say 5-10 years ago. It is harder to find artists on tumblr though

I sure can! It's a program called SRWE, Simple Runtime Window Editor. When running the game in windowed mode, I can use SRWE to change the window size to anything I want. That is also how I get super-high-rez screenshots. I play in 1080p and then use SRWE to "hotsample" to the higher resolutions on the fly. That way I don't have to play at like 10fps in order to get 4k images. The sky is the limit on how large you can go, rather your GPU is the limit. I can get up to about 5k and then my GPU pretty much NOPE's right out of the game.

Am I the only one who thinks this is perfect for what Cullen's reaction would likely be, upon getting a letter from his troops in the Frostback Basin after a certain point in the new DLC and finding out that;

Spoiler

Yes Cullen, your girlfriend is seriously weird...

Just a little heads up and bit of advice, if she happens to ask whether you should both get a pet... say no?!
