Oh wow, so did everybody see this?

I feel like an idjut for not recognizing the actor as Kellan Lutz from Twilight. Maybe it's just that I've blocked those movies from my memory...
That is great. Maybe a little young but wow!!
Bahahahahaha! So much stuff.
He's wet ? ![]()
Lol. I was thinking that it reminded me of a different Cullen. A sparkly in the sun, kind of Cullen. ![]()
Steve Valentine is so great! And ooooh what was he hinting at? We have to see out Ali-Bear again. I never for an instant thought that leaving that person behind meant that was it.
Happy thirsty Thursday fellas, have a sweaty Cullen

Check out those abz and hip bones...
Yeah, honestly I see less sweat and more glitter? ![]()
LOL He sorta looks like he's been sprayed with glitter or bedazzled.
bedazzled!Cullen. That may turn into my new favorite thing.

sorrynotsorry
OK this is better...

Very strange, I was in Val Royeaux and overheard a priest reciting a line from the chant:
"I shall not be left to wander the drifting roads of the Beyond."
Except Beyond is the Dalish name for the Fade. How did that get into the chant...?

Let it be known! The one and only, true, sparkly Cullen:
Right-oh. Now I'm off to clear my mind of this all. ![]()

There are so many "flubs" with dialogue in this game that trying to make sense of them only gives me a headache and desire a bottle of twenty-year old scotch.

I'm curious to know whether this was a flub or intentional, though. We know there was once a book of Shartan, after all. It could be a holdover from Shartan's influence on Andraste, though you'd think the chantry would have noticed and "fixed" that line if so. Unfortunately, the line took me by surprise and the subtitles had vanished before I realized what I'd just heard/read.

Cullen says the same thing during the prayer scene: "Though all before me is shadow, yet shall the Maker be my guide. I shall not be left to wander the drifting roads of the Beyond. For there is no darkness in the Maker's light and nothing that He has wrought shall be lost."

The Chantry also mentions the Void as their analogue for Hell, which is interesting since we know that the Void exists in Elven mythology by that name as well, as the place that Andruil went hunting and where she crafted armour that nearly drove her insane, as well as the place that the Forgotten Ones were supposedly sealed away in by Fen'Harel?
I could see the Elven pantheon perhaps having some influence on the early Chantry, since the Cult of the Maker apparently arose in the Imperium, so you'd imagine that the human and elven slaves would likely be aware of each other's beliefs? Or those terms were a holdover from when Shartan and the Dalish were involved in Andraste's rebellion?

Could just be semantics, that they use the same words for slightly different things. Esp if the Chant was written back when the elves were more a part of the world. In Thedas they also use the word heaven eventho it's not exactly the same Christian concept.
ohmy. I feel a strange sense of ... guilt looking at this lovely piece of art.

Wow. That picture brings out the worst in me.... but the guilt is sooooo good, R2. ![]()
All I can think when I see him in combat is, "Oh, Commander, what a big sword you have." No pun intended.
That is a frakking big sword. No wonder he needs such big muscles.
Mmmmmhhhhmmmm
*wiggles eyebrows*

Oh wow!!! I love how she uses bold strokes of colours with less soft gradation! Wow...
And TBH, I remember someone drew Michel de Chevin with that kind of curly hair once... It's before I met the real Michel in game so the image of Michel with curly hair still stuck.

Hmm, I haven't gotten as far as the scene where Cullen is praying yet, and I didn't pay that much attention to exactly what he was praying when I watched it on YouTube. I was just startled to notice it (maybe because it was subtexted and reading it struck me where hearing it didn't.) because I'd expect the Chantry to alter the term since they've worked so hard to purge anything elven otherwise. I guess I just assumed anything they wrote for the Chant specifically is supposed to be tied back into that mysterious story of Andraste and Shartan and Maferath and the others. Ah well.
And I'd noticed heaven used, but it's not only a concept in a lot of religions, it's also a generic term for the sky and stars.
