update on the patch there doesnt seem to be a BE yet just a mp dlc...

as far as mods go  when i tested with the new mod manager and the new dai modding tool it seems to be working fine, but ppl may experience different results as always. If you are referring to the un modded game i don't see any changes in the single player... and i dont really play MP to notice any difference...

huh. I don't have an update. Just an update to Origin. And I have the digital deluxe version.

Can this be true? Apparently, 2 Codexes went missing in DA2 after you play the DLC Legacy. Check them out:

Yesterday, I saw a man I could swear was Larius, just walking around Lowtown. I wasn’t sure at first, but that armor, that hair… he’s unmistakable.

He was talking to Samson, of all people. I can’t imagine what a Grey Warden commander and an ex-templar vagrant have in common, but they seemed intent in their discussion. When I came closer, Larius pulled Samson into a doorway—I don’t know if he saw me or not, but it seemed almost like they were avoiding me.

Yesterday, I saw a woman I swear was Janeka, skulking around Lowtown. She had told me that as soon as she reported what happened to Corypheus, she would go on her Calling and die in the Deep Roads, but I’m positive she was the woman I saw talking with Samson.

And that is also odd—what does a Grey Warden have in common with an ex-templar vagrant? When they saw me coming, they left. They were definitely avoiding me.

I'm kinda sceptical though, since I followed this all way back to the original poster, who put this up on the Wiki back in 2011. However, we only have their own personal claims. As far as I am aware, no one else found this or saw this anywhere.

It's kind of cool, but I have never head anything about it either. You would think that more than a singular person would have noticed.

Exactly. We would have certainly put the dots together a long time ago. Or, at least, someone would have brought it up during the 3 year gaps between games.

To be honest, sometimes I'm really not sure if the devs have planned that far ahead with each aspect of the game. And Samson was such a random character for it.

The writers have been planning DA:I since DA:O, tho. DA2 was a filler story.

 

The whole point of Legacy was probably to set up DA:I.

The thing that I wonder is why would they cut it? If they really want to set up DA:I, why not just leave them in?

That's also why I'm confused. That'd be a perfect way to set up DAI.

Unless it was a bug of some kind. Some of the things they talked about in the comments on that blog entry centered around things that just didn't trigger properly, like certain weapons and assets.

I have a really basic question. How does Cullen take Celene dying/Briala rules through Gaspard. I was thinking of rolling a Dalish for him, but not if he takes the Winter palace badly.

Doesn't make much difference, he's fine with whoever you choose at the ball. He's initially for Gaspard, then backs down when he realises you have to let Celene die for that, but ultimately he'll be fine with whatever you decide (well, more like, he won't actually comment on the outcome either way, so presumably he accepts your final decision without issue).

Honestly, as far as I've heard anyone mention, Cullen and Josephine's romances are affected by your decisions (someone correct me if I'm wrong?)

 

Edited: other than the lyrium issue, I mean. Dunno if Josephine has an equivalent.

Yesterday I got a funny convo with my BFF who just read TME, and there was a discussion of how Ser Michel would look like Robb Stark but blonde & beardless. I did my best... (that guy's being rendered today. Make him blonde & beardless or just Robb)

 

My b/f is pretty good with photo editing in GIMP. He knows his way around the interface, where I know PS. I'm hoping between the two of us we can figure it out. He's just terrible at finding and installing plugins and whatnot. I've read that there is a plugin for GIMP that lets you import a video broken down into frames. That's about as far as I've gotten so far. I haven't even installed GIMP on my computer yet. That will be my weekend project.

 

Let me ask you guys another question while I'm at it. I have a hard time focusing on a single character to play. I tend to hop around and never make any progress. But when you guys said you wanted to see the templar romance I was able to focus and just play Rhiannon. What would you rather see next? Crazy Human Reaver multiple-romance or feral Dalish Cullen/Solas?

 

I love elves more than human so... I'd say the Feral Dalish. But your call though...

do you take Leliana's offer to do the problem with "shortcut" or not. I don't romance her, it does not change the relation at all just you get the best story of her if you take Leli's shortcut... Basically she just preached very cutely for an hour and that's all.

Yeah, I didn't see any real comment from him other than (to my mind, him MYSTERIOUSLY supporting Gaspard during the quest just because he's another military dude; humph). Solas had more of a response after the quest... and that's saying something. LOL
