see Lynas's response. You'll have the option to "start a romance with Cullen" and get to snog him on the battlements. You get official official after either Halamshiral or adamant (once you've at least one of them), and after his personal quest.

^ ya know, I didn't realize it got 'official official' with only one of the adamant/halimshiral - i didn't realize it was the personal quest that set it off, too.
and as a side note, i consider it completely adorable that Cullen is open to the romance after you play chess with him. Like, here's the Commander of the Inquisiton's armies - kinda looks like the star quarterback of the football team (or whatever sports metaphor ya like)
...yeah, but no, he's the geek from the chess club and gets turned on by the girl who will play chess with him and is willing to spend more time being nerds together like that. << the point where I was just like omg, i'm gone for this Cullenmance thing.

I worked on clearing the Hissing Wastes this week with my Dalish warrior, and finally remembered---today---that gee, I have a mount. They're pretty useless as a time saver in most zones, but it was great there (once I remembered 
.) Not that I minded too much, it's a lovely zone, would be nice to be able to snog Cullen under that big moon there.
Oh, I'm assuming I'm not the first person to notice this in the Hissing Wastes...

Also to say you aren't alone... I often find myself deeming bits of R2's fics canon. Too bad we can't commission someone to do some computer wiz *cough Adela cough* to fully animate an episode or 50.
I think I've come up with a lucrative idea... animating fanfics. Now to wrangle slave labor minions to do the work!
Hmmm is there any animation student/proffessional on the fandom? TBH It'll be interesting to see if anyone make any short animation though... There's Dahlia Lynn's Alistair Nightmare back in DA:O and Fenris' narrated short film based on Gaider's short story. But it's not the same engine anymore so IDK.
Or even some hand drawn animation would be amazing (but imagine the amount of work... I once knew a guy who made hand drawn animation for fun, took him nearly all evening a full year to animate a 10 minutes things. But that was amazing).

It's a desire demon. There are statues like that in the Fade.
Hmm, now that ya'll pointed it out, it makes sense. That's just not something I'd expect anyone to make a statue to, so it didn't occur to me. I mean, I don't think I've seen statues of pride demons or any of the other common ones.

Yeah, as unprotective as it looks and as sick as I am of the Cullen / lion association, it really was the only thing making visual sense out of the huge mass of fur on his back. (A little fur trim like in the concept art is definitely sensibly Fereldan but I feel like the volume of fur had blown up by the final 3-D model, or at least there's more in the 3-D model than I personally would have inferred from the 2-D art.) In any case, if I were a cosplayer, the helmet would definitely make the idea of a Cullen armor project more interesting to me, which I assume is why they left it in here. I do wonder if it'll get at least an oblique mention in future DLC.
