Interesting. Until I saw the pictures, I assumed it just because her DA2 armour is already in game on NPCs. But that's different to her DA2 stuff. Why she has her hat as well as her hair and bandana though is beyond me. I'm choosing to take this with all the pinches of salt in the world for now.

Hats are sometimes worn over scarves, and there may have been both for different scenes if she was originally supposed to appear.

But that also suggests some kind of costume change to me. Which to me suggests a somewhat important part to play which in turn suggests something I find unlikely to be cut content. I'm also suspicious of why her DA2 armour isn't included there too, when it's already still in game. And why it hasn't been found out before now, if it was indeed cut content. I don't know how this sort of thing works, maybe it was leaked in an update(?) and we'll see her in DLC with some prominent role. I hope we will, I love Isabela, but I'm just not convinced this is real yet. I'd love to be proven wrong however.

Yeah, I had this happen with my sarcastic IQ. Gave me a chuckle and, yeah, headcanon accepted, half the stuff sarcastiquizz says sound like she's high as a kite, so why not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Well if my party members would stay alive long enough for me to stop having to down health potion after health potion to keep fighting, then maybe I wouldn't be so addicted to the stuff lol.

Oh, I'm not convinced either, just hopeful. My favorites get, at most, a mention in passing in DAI, and in Shale's case, not even that (I know she was a DLC companion, but so was Sebastian.) Not that I'm not thrilled with what they did with some NPCs (while I was fascinated with Cullen, he wasn't someone I'd call a favorite before DAI either,) I just feel as if I'm always against the grain of what the devs like best, lol.

For once I'm so boring I assumed Harding was on about my Inquisitors obsession with collecting the damned stuff, not any nefarious uses she might be putting it to

Although I am now truly wondering whether the elfroot needed for the courtyard upgrade was just to bribe the builders and I definitely know why my Inquisitors collecting parties from the war table never returned more than 10 measly pieces- they were clearly having a right time of it with the rest!

After abortive attempts at Blackwall and Dorian, the fact that Cullen is really pretty in hi-res wins me over. So I mull a few concepts and realize I want a US Amell in his background. So here I am restarting DAO so everything can be as real as possible. Completely nuts?

Completely nuts . If you have an Amell save near the end of the game, why not reload from there and refuse Morrigan's offer? That's how I have an Aeducan US and an Aeducan/Zevran pairing.

Because the only complete Amell I have is a guy. So yep, trilogy run.

Well, the kiss with Solas in the fade (first cut scene in skyhold) isn't the start of the romance with him ?

The actual trigger for his is a bit vague, but after the Fade kiss, you have to go back to the rotunda to talk to him to actually trigger the romance. I don't think you have to get as far as the second kiss, but I could be wrong (I got the dance, but I was past the second kiss too.)

I've tried to make up random world states for science before, but dropped the playthrough in two seconds, because it didn't feel "real" or "earned" and such. If that's what J is like too, only a "real" trilogy replay will satisfy, as nuts as that sounds.

Which is the reason I was teasing a little, but tried to suggest an alternative that would still feel earned (unfortunately not possible in this case.) The only WS I've fudged a little from DAO is a Cousland PT in which I rewrote her romancing Zevran but making a political marriage to Alistair. I'd have played it that way if I'd known it was an option, and I'd rather not replay it just to fix that (and apparently, that variation isn't actually acknowledged openly in DAI anyway, though I still don't know if my Cousland will reference Alistair, Zevran, or neither when I get the letter from her.) I'm fine with inventing DA2 PTs because I never played it at all.

That's exactly what I'm like. It's just theory in the keep, not something that "really" happened. I'm already nuancing my headcanon with the realization that Tamra Amell just would mot work with even the reasonably sane Commander Cullen. I need to know these things, nuts as it sounds.

Huh, Cullen's character kit is a bit underwhelming. We've seen as much detail from fanmade 360 images of him. Huh. At least folks can get the exact color palette, I suppose.

Eh, I got over that quick. I've played through DA:O so many times I have no probs with the Keep. Just like the original Mass Effect. Thank goodness for the Mass Effect saves site (I wonder if that's where Bioware got the idea for the Keep). 

 

Consequently though, I do have plans to play through DA:O once more to see a Ali-Bear again, though it has nothing to do with playing through for DA:I.

There was a fan art made of Dorian and a female Inquisitor sitting in the library reading. She had her legs rested on top of his and he had his arm flung over them. I remember it being posted in here ages ago but I was hoping someone on here would know where to find it.......

Did you ask him for a dance? I think they only show up on the balcony for a dance if you actually ask them at some point through wandering round the palace.
