I have a soft spot for men like Ser Michel  I hope we'll meet him, just because I want to take screenshots of him, and draw him. TME has so few descriptions!

I don't think Cullen would support another war with Ferelden. First of all, he's Fereldan. He's so Fereldan, that Hawke spots it the moment Cullen opens his mouth. Second, considering that the mages and templars are at war with each other already, and that there is a civil war raging on in Orlais, starting another war would be really stupid. Because when blood spills - Veil weakens. Cullen must know it well, because he's a templar, and because the Veil cracked in Kinloch Hold after Uldred's rebellion (the Warden closed it in TWH). And torn by the civil war, Orlais doesn't have the resources anyway. 

 

Cullen has always struck me as the Ser Michel type, he's done some bad things but he's a good and (hopefully) loyal man at heart.

Y'know what? I think I'll be a little sad if we don't get to see Cullen fighting at least once. I wanna see him fighting some red Templars when we meet him. I kinda love how manly and badass he was in DA2 when dealing with Wilmod, even if initially it looked like he was the bad guy.

 Good question! I also wonder if the colour of his outfit will change if we're indeed able to pick what colours our Inquisition wears in general? I'm actually staring at his picture from the trailer trying to work out if those long bits of cloth extend behind him covering his butt, or if they just hang down at the sides like they do in the survey leak picture? Either way, I don't see any Templar insignia anywhere on his outfit!

You could say this ten more times and it would not be enough. That scene with Wilmod was an eyeopener, especially after Cullen was spot on right about it.  I just can't imagine that we would not get to see the man in action at least once.

Cullen is the perfect representative for this card. Years ago I was very much into Tarot (hence the name - surprise!) and I've always interpreted this card as a pause in one's life and self-surrender leading to the transformation of one's personality. Given what  transpires to him between the end of DAII and the start of Inquisiton, that may be more accurate than we know!

I feel like there's a good chance we'll get to have the advisors as guests in the party on special missions. I mean, it's been done before, having other characters tag along with your party on specific quests ... Seeing Leliana at camp kinda makes me feel that's the route they might take.

Ha, my favourite part about Wilmod scene was how Cullen himself freaked out, when turned out the boy was possessed (and Cullen thought he was just seeing a mage or something).

I'm hoping so! I guess, if nothing else, it'll be interesting to see what Cullen, Leliana and the lady in blue and gold are supposed to be doing whilst we're out in the field. Like, when Shepard would return to the Normandy Traynor could be found fiddling around over by the console handling all that side of things, and Cortez could be found tinkering with his little shuttle thingy, lol. Then occasionally they'd disappear from their usual spot and we'd find them elsewhere in the ship hanging out with our crew and companions.

 

I'm curious to see what Leliana has to say about Warden's who romanced her and why she isn't with him/her. I mean, if she's based in our home hub then she clearly isn't running around with the Warden at the moment. Maybe we'll be able to snoop through her stuff and see letters to and from each other (be it of the romantic kind if you romanced her, or friendly correspondence and reminiscing if they were just friends).

Anyway, here's a comparison between Cullen's outfit in the survey leak and his in-game outfit. I like that they removed a few of the layers, the feathers are a little fancier than I ever expected to see Cullen wear, lol!:

I liked the whole "don't hit me!" and instead of hitting he /kicks where the sun don't shine/. I actually lol'd. (Yeas I know, I'm a horrible person for that). Kind of made me think he's a bit snarky like: "well i didn't hit you.

Looking at his outfit closely his chest plate has 7 little holes in it, as if he'd removed something from the front of it. In TME they often talk describe people stripping and remove family crests and filigrees from their armour, so perhaps the chest plate was originally from his Templar armour and he just removed the Templar insignia from it? 

 

... I think I kinda like that idea, it's very symbolic!
