My favorite so far is the Sith Warrior, but Jedi Knight is a very very close second. It's because of Lord Scourge. He was originally intended to be romanceable but was cut prior to release. Good grief if only...he would be the perfect romance for an "anti-hero" Jedi Knight. If that romance was actually in the game the Jedi Knight story would be far and away my favorite. Too bad we're stuck with Doc...just ugh...I head-cannoned that my Knight grew very close to Scourge and ended up leaving Doc for him. You can see where the romance was supposed to be in the game since your crew actually asks several times about Scourge's "influence" on you.

 

 

There's a "remastered" version of BG on steam. I've been looking into buying that one. 

 

 

My first FF game was VIII, which will always be my favorite for that reason. FFVII was my 2nd. Steam has them both for pretty cheap, and they've been "remastered" so the graphics aren't that bad...meaning they're smooth blocks instead of blurry ones. 

 

I also absolutely loved FFIX (Vivi!) and FFX (for the music).

 

When I got FF7, then FF8, it was like OMG FF8 had IMPROVED a LOT! Then the 9th was even better, the 10th was WOW! Then they started to go to a style I don't like...

 

STill, there's Fenris in FF12... (Gideon Emery = Balthier)

 

If Cullen was a FF guy, who would he be? I vote for Squall... For reason. (read: furry pauldron stuff).

I'm a big fan of the Star Wars universe. I greatly enjoyed the Jedi Knight storyline for The Old Republic, which is pretty much a direct extension of KOTOR (especially since they have the companion novel). 

 

I'm just a big fan of eye candy. This is also why I'm wondering how I'm going to get through Baldur's Gate II, as I've been told I absolutely have to play it. 

Eh nothing wrong with liking pretty graphics . I admit I had some trouble playing the BG games myself at the beginning (Kotor was my first BW game).

 

I can't really say if the original Kotor games are so great from a regular Star Wars fan pov because that pretty much was my introduction to the whole universe, but from what I heard it works reasonnably well since it's set a good 4000 years before the original trilogy. But the writing was good and the story very engaging.

 

Never had any interest in playing TOR though for a number of reasons.

And now I stop with the OT.

 

On Topic, maybe we will have some additional advisor's content via letters with the BE, like in JoH.

Honestly, I'd say I can't think of any...to me there aren't any FF men that fit, personality or appearance-wise. I dunno. Maybe it's the JRPG writing and the Eastern styling. There are no "Marlboro Men" in the Final Fantasy world...well, maybe Auron...

 

Though I can say that Alistair reminded me a lot of Wakka from FFX.

Its not just mechanics if you're lucky enough to trigger his check up dialogue.In which case, I don't even think I'd know what to do with myself, because that is literally just too damn sweet. He's such a big softy at heart and I love that. Still contemplating doing another run with my current for him.

 

Now why can't Cullen be my battle buddy bodyguard of a human shield again? I think I need this in my life now.

 

Although a part of me thinks Cullen couldn't deal with that. He does tend to over worry.

Go for the second run for him. Of course, I love beards, and his flirts are great, much more confident. But the romance itself past the flirts left me, personally, a litlte bleh. Lots of people really like it, though, and I think it's just me (liars are probably my single biggest turnoff short of actual abusive personalities.)

Sith Inquisitor is my favourite. She's crazy, her bf Andronikos is crazy, they are perfect together and their romance is adorable. Hands down the best in the game for me.

I loved SW (I played the Quinn romance out two different ways, both fun) but the SI was my favorite, and so is Niko. The one thing you can count on with him is absolute honesty, and he's surprisingly romantic, in his own unique way. Like the stolen engagement ring...

If you lose enough health in combat, after the battle is over Blackwall has a "You alright, love?" bark. It's really sweet, it makes me keep him in the party all the time just to hear that line when I'm romancing him.

I never got that from him!  Now I have to do it again and hope I get it cause that's too sweet.

Archers are the real OP class in this game, I keep tryna tell ya. No but seriously, I haven't wiped a single time with an archer, even on Nightmare. It's crazy how much stealth and strafing can keep you going forever.

 

I finally had to romance Blackwall with a mage to finally get that banter, because my warriors get so much Guard they never lose health either. But it exists, I promise!

I was planning on a little dual-dagger Dwarf firecracker for Blackwall. I tried a dual-dagger Qunari Tempest with him before but that playthrough just got stagnant. Dual-dagger Tempest is so OP I never heard that from him. You know how it goes - if you aren't feeling the character.

*snort* Someone slipped and called the Knight enchanter an arcane warrior. You can tell the patch notes were written by someone who played DAO 

Reading some of those issues, oh, man, talk about frustrating! Kind of like the first time I went into Valammar and couldn't conclude the darkspawn portion...

 

You get a little Carta specific dialogue from Blackwall.

I've taken some damage a few times, but she seems particularly good at dodging away from attackers. And awww. If he's said that, it's been when there was some other noise covering it in my game.

Yeah, the Arcane Warrior term is from the MP, but Knight-Enchanters are getting nerfed in the SP too. Notes-writing person probably just threw all in the same bag to save time.
 
Reading the drab patch notes for DAI against the hilarious patch notes for TS4 that also came out today makes me wish they put someone with a sense of humor like that on note-compilation duties. It would be worth breaking our mods every other week just to see stuff like
