thats pretty cool I never manage to get deserts right I can cook regular food but when it comes to deserts I suck at it lol

 

I like to cook everything. I used to be a professional too, made wedding cakes and the like.

 I still don't know how feasible a celebration will be here in the main forums and how hard it will be to get the post/page count right, but all we can do is try. 

Gotta keep the tradition going regardless if we are in the main forums now! Its a fun way for the fans to express their love for the character I think.. so personally I cant wait!!!

Adela it's been driving me nuts, but I finally figured out who/what your avatar is reminding me of.  I collect asian ball-jointed dolls, and there there is one on my want list that is reminiscent of your avatar. She's a vampire though.

The cool thing about shortbread (and this is TOTALLY why I chose to do this. haha), is that it's super simple. Basic recipe is just butter, sugar, and flour.

I used to do them a lot too while back. I should start again, I fail at cooking and baking but my shortbreads are quite good. Maybe cause they are so basic that even I can't fail making them XD

On the 1000th page celebration, I will have a perfect Cullen oriented shortbread recipe. All I need to do yet is take photo of this current batch (which I will do in the morning, when the light is good), and type up the recipe. I'm excited-it's my first "official" recipe (I mean, I toss stuff together, all the time, but I never write it down, or do it the same way twice haha).

I'm a bit addicted to shortbread. I can't make them because then I end up eating the whole batch by myself. I sometimes buy them to have with tea, but it usually ends with me eating the whole package at once.

I used to make shortbread cookies all the time when I was younger, though. I especially like the version where you put a little bit of jam in the center before you bake them in the oven. Delicious.
