Oh man have I been busy lately with work this thread moves fast. I've decided to start jewelry making at home again and I took up ceramics again I have some summer projects lined up with the possibility of making a Cullen/ Female mage lavellan project I'm still not sure yet that will probably take me a while to finish that as I'm pretty much a perfectionist when it comes to ceramics. I've already started working on my charm necklace that will probably take me a few weeks to finish depending If I like the way it turns out.

I've never hated the lion motif. There are very few animals that don't have a downside when it comes to using them as a character totem or symbol. Lions have cultural implications of strength, honor, and courage. Sometimes the cultural implications can be enough, even if the reality of the animals habits make them a less ideal choice.

This is essentially the problem, tho, because those cultural implications don't exist in Thedas. In fact, the implications that do exist have absolutely nothing to do with him, and everything to do with the Orlesians and the Valmonts. The lion has been used *a lot* in Dragon Age, but not in a way that makes sense for Cullen. But, I'll stop there.

I may have to finally sign up for Tumblr. Of course, I shouldn't even be considering another project even if it's a one-shot; I've struggled with writer's block for a week on my non-Cullen story...

Less talked to each other, though I would probably do something with what happened with Ser Alrik. More, I'm looking for quests where Cullen would probably be making some kind of comment afterward even if he's not directly involved. Alrik's one, Grace and the Starkhaven refugees are another. He's going to be with Hawke for the first attack of the dwarves that leads into Legacy, I'm not sure if I want to deal with Feynriel considering, though I may deal with the templars who went to get him. And Cullen is going to be asking questions about Meredith a little earlier since he's spending off duty hours with Hawke and company. 

 

In all, I'm just trying to get a sense of what the two of them might talk about. The AU is more about their friendship than any real action set pieces.

Sounds like you have a good scaffold. A lot of it I reckon will depend on the actual flow of the story.

Hmmm I am thinking of doing Skyrim!Cullen... Just because I LOVE some of skyrim's armours more than DA:I Armour TBH. I mean Daedric Armour... Gosh... Or Ebony Armour & Nordic Armour. Do you think it would be acceptable for the appreciation week?

Alright I'm taking a poll, Skyrim Nordic Armour or Skyrim Fur Coat Armour? For the furcoat it's the one with tops I mean, I didn't manage to draw naked abs muscles yet.

 

I'm voting for Skyrim Nordic Armor myself XD. Just because... duh. It's the best looking armour so far along with Daedric but Daedric looks so much like Sauron's... But now fur coat with naked muscles is also...mmmhmmm.

I think so long as it's Culleny, it's absolutely acceptable. Just find the right day!

Is any one here on ps4? I'm only now wanting to try multiplayer but hear it's impossible to get anyone to play with you, 'cause no one wants to play with a lvl 1.

Right now the flow is feeling like Joss Whedon meets Aaron Sorkin meets Dragon Age. A lot of banter and character stuff, until I hit the moment Anders walked into the room. This is all in showing how the relationship started, and why he stayed. Though Cullen's interaction with Anders is hard to parse. I'm going to have to dig through my play through and find just after Enemy Among Us and bring Anders with me to the Gallows. I don't remember a lot of interaction except conversation about the Tower at Kinloch Hold. Of course, I tend to forget where I put my brain so my memory doesn't mean much.

 

Oh what I would give for a dialogue editor for DA2... it would make it so much easier to be able to go into the blasted tree and look at what's written.

Ah, thanks!! I couldn't find a vid of Cole at the ball. Interesting. I'm not sure that one actually applies to Cullen, since they made a point earlier in the game of telling us he's not chaste. But tantalizing. 

 

The line about Cullen being afraid many think is a slight at the Cullenites, so there are lots of ways to interpret it. Some (many? most?) not so cheery.

and yet they're always happy to take my money. lord knows i give bioware enough of it.

eh, i don't really care. i'll shamelessly geek out about the things i like, and if someone else things i'm pat of some screaming fanhorde, well, i am, thank you very much.

 

but that's the beauty of geeking out about fictional men. i'm not stalking some actor or something. i'm stalking...well, no one, really. maybe you fellow fanartists and stuff, waiting for more fics and pics.

Gala has posted a lot of Cullen's interactions from DA2. This one includes Anders. 

 

and here's all of Act 1. Anders doesn't really say anything after the Keran interactions. It's just Carver and Bethany.

I haven't finished it yet. I had a lot of momentum at the beginning but work has shattered my concentration. It'll get done... hopefully soon.
