I know a bunch of us Cullenites are big Mass Effect fans as well.
If you'd like to catch up on just about everything we know about the game so far (prior to and from e3), here ya go!
Thanks! Just watched it with my daughter, she says a very nice summary!

Guys, help. I remember us talking about Leliana's VA recording music and someone posting several tweets. Can anyone help me find it, or did I imagine it being in this thread?

So I saw that MEA (is that what it's being shortened to?) trailer.
Damn it.
As I clicked on the link, I was like "I dunno, ending of ME3 saddened me, maybe I won't bother to....SWEET BABY ANDRASTE, when can I preorder that??"
so that's how long my resolve lasted on that score.
holidays 2016? i think i'll be done with my fanfic just in time. ![]()

Ah, just saw that on tumblr. It's absolutely stunning!!
For posting here on the BSN, you can't upload. Instead, the image needs to uploaded elsewhere (tumblr, devart, photobucket if it's yours) and you need the direct link to the image itself (in your case: http://41.media.tumb...1o3o1_500.png)
Then, you can post the image itself by putting the URL between img tags: [img*] http://blahblah/image.jpg[/img*]without the *s, and of course, always include the original link to the artist.

Nope, no DA mention at all, sadly.

I thought Bethesda confirmed after the press conf that mods will be available for PS4 as well?So Xboxone can use mods? I dont understand. If thats so , I will buy an xboxone.
@Tishina and Cerulione, Dishonored plays more like the Thief games than shooters. You can play through without killing a single person if you choose so. If anything my pts were complete opposite of the fps crazy, very slow and thorough. Awesome game, one of my absolute favourites.
Sorry for the random message full of offtopicness. I got myself burned on dai just after the jaws of hakkon but I am slowly thinking of coming back. Right after I stop squeeing over MEA

I truly loved Dishonored so the D2 announcement made me happy! (I wanted to love Thief as well but it gave me motion sickness so I wasn't able to finish it.

Ooo, thanks! Yes, I like that sort of play; when I played SWtOR, I found it pretty funny that my PT with the fewest bodies was actually Sith (my assassin who stealthed through a lot of stuff.) Can you pause at any point, like the DA games?
I'm glad to see a lot of people starting to post again, and I'm sure we'll see even more if the next DLC includes any Cullen. ![]()

I think with Mass Effect: Andromeda, Fallout 4 and the remake of Final Fantasy VII all being featured at E3, they figured that all that gaming news would have blown any DAI DLC announcment out of the water, so no-one would have paid it any attention? Probably we'll hear something after E3, when the initial hype for the other games has died down.
(Still sucks that we have to wait for news though)

Altho, sad to say it, but it *is* just DLC. I doubt it would be a big splashy announcement anyway, so for all we know, someone might even just mention it in passing during all the interviews this week. But I think Sifr is right that it makes more sense to wait.

I was somewhat prepared for the trailer for D2 but not for playable Emily. Super excited about the sequel ![]()
As for Thief games, I never played the newest one. It had enough negative feedback that I simply couldn't be bothered to even try. It looked gorgeous so it was a major disappointment. Love the old ones though and Dishonored has managed to capture their spirit quite well.

So you'll definitely enjoy the game. Simple running and gunning is doable but quite hard especially on higher difficulties and you miss on a lot of fun with powers and combos and general experimentation. There is no option to pause as far as I remember but you really do not need it. There are powers that help you and the environment as well. If you want to buy it go for goty edition, since the story dlc is pretty good too. The game is very atmospheric, stylish and has interesting setting... and now I feel I need to reinstall it and have another pt ![]()
...just after DAI. I must say that reading this thread really makes me want to try as much as I can in the game (I didn't try all the specs yet and my dwarf mQuizzy is still on the bench). Though being ocd and doing semi-completionist runs each time is tiring. Need a therapy...

I guess you are right though it would def add more spice to sport infested ea conference. Seriously, I had to force myself through all the adrenaline snooze inducing info, hoping for more MEa news. Not picking on those who love it, some of my best pals love Fifa (weirdos
).
Still I hope they will start spilling beans about dlc soon, cause I am ready for moar.
Edit: evil grin Cullen or his evil twin Eduardo, cause that's what I have apparently available

I believe my daughter has the first Dishonored, I may get her to reinstall it and let me try it out. Though right now I'm already pretty busy with DAI and with a city simulator I'm already trying out. No pause may be a problem for me; I often need to stop and walk away for five or ten minutes or longer with no notice. Thanks!

Guys, this is even more off topic than E3 but whatever happen if you don't have a chain in the doors of your home you'd better install one right now. There were people just forcing entrance at my home today saying that they were chimney cleaner sent by the City. They did not want to know that my landlady had already sent one to clean my place's two month ago & forced the entrance saying that I'll be sued if I don't let them do their job & literally the first thing they do when I stupidly open the door without chain is putting a foot literally inside and forced entrance. They then look at my chimney for 5 minutes and made me pay 180€ (normal price is around 50-70€) for that. Fortunately I left the front door open & my neighbours came out because they heard something's going on. He forced them out and called them scam & go to the police & the bank directly to cancel the cheque. There were a few more guys tapping on the neighbours above, they must've been 5 in total.
When I went out the building those guys menaced me once again saying that now they had seen the inside of my place & I'll live the consequence & if I go to the police they'll sue me back for defamation etc2. Well the Police classified it as "verbal violence & menace & scam", the bank blocked the cheque alright. There are more police officers coming tomorrow for fingerprints since now it's in the Penal Law Jurisdiction (Idk what's called in English?). But seriously I'm still scared because the whole way I was sprinting (broad daylight) to the police office they followed me in car. Afterward I did not see those guys again but seriously I'm scared like hell. I think that I had never sprinted so fast in my life before. Whew, adrenaline sure worked well. And I'm still scared those guy will actually sue me. Because well, I don't have money for lawyers.
Moral of the history, never open the door if you're not waiting for a visit, AND INSTALL A CHAIN TO ALL ENTRANCE DOOR TO YOUR HOME RIGHT NOW.
That's more important than games ![]()

Feeling the same, I really need to drop the game bottleneck down before I buy some new ones. Still I get a nostalgia pang whenever I talk about the game I love :]

If it is just stopping the game then you can open the menu and walk away. I do it all the time.

Wow Ceru, that sounds pretty scary. Hope you are allright. This kind of invasion on privacy (and threats) can leave you unsettled for a long time. I would also add to your list a peep hole to doors with no chance to see who's outside. They were a must when I lived in a flat.

Ceru - OMG! That's seriously terrifying! Sounds like a group of thugs busting into people's homes to plan for future robberies. I'd be shopping for a big dog (or a recording of a big angry dog that goes off every time someone knocks or rings your bell) and a tazer. And a baseball bat. With spikes. Yikes! ![]()
