Let's just hope they don't pull a Darkspawn Chronicles on us and make us kill all our companions again.
I'll be honest I felt a sense of satisfaction when I executed Allistair.

Oh, agreed, though I'm probably worse normally. I have to admit that it took me six months after I started DAO to realize that Howe's voice was Tim Curry's...
What?! I've only just realised that now! haha
Seriously... my main is a Cousland so I absolutely hated the dude and never picked it *runs & hides from embarrassment*

But man, you just got me thinking. What if they did a "Solas's Song" or "Mythal's Song" and you got to play Fen'harel or Mythal during the time of the Elven Gods and got to see first hand some of the elven apocalypse or Flemeth meeting Mythal?
:take my money:
OMG this... I would love to play through these little snippets of time. Or even just see it in some kind of flash back. I really want to know the truth of it all!

LOL I don't think I know enough about elven mythology to do it justice, but I've read some cool snippets here and there about it. It sure would be cool to know the "truth," such as it is.

I know, he's such an incredibly well-voiced villain, killing him as a Cousland (or a Tabris for that matter, considering what was going on in the Alienage) was incredibly satisfying. I love Tim Curry (I saw Clue and Rocky Horror in the theater on their original runs
,) so I really felt silly that I didn't recognize the voice.
Actually, I have a lot of fun connecting voice actors playing the same role in BW games, including between games, I just don't always pick up on who that VA is. I particularly had fun with that in DAO (though I don't think I picked up that Greg Ellis was both Cullen in DAO and Anders in DAA for quite a while.) Teagan's VA pops up a lot and apparently does slimey and minor villains very well (including one in an origin story in SWtOR that I loathed.)

I have a hard time recognizing voices sometimes, too. And, then once I do... CANNOT UNHEAR!
But... +10 points for Clue ref.
(and I even saw more than one ending in the theatre...!
)

Is it sad that I thought that this Tim Curry was sexy as hell?

BTW I rock at recognizing voices. I'll hear a voice and say "OMG that's blah blah!" And my b/f will be like "No it's not." And then I'll have to run to IMDB to prove him wrong. ![]()

I have it on DVD and watch it at least once every 4 or 5 months while cleaning, etc. I may have seen more than one ending in the theater too, but it's been too many years to trust my memory
. I'm pretty certain I saw the Mrs. Peacock ending the first time.

LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one.
The scene where Mia Sara gets her black dress and meets him for the first time... unf. It left quite the impression on 13-year-old me.

I know what you mean. I think I saw the Ms Scarlett and everybody did it endings. Too bad no one does things like that with movies anymore. It was so clever.

Yeah, if I had to choose between busted-tooth Tom Cruise or that? No-brainer. ![]()
Then again, this is one of my favorite Bioware characters of all time...my naughty little Jedi Knight was quite taken by him:

I think that must mean I have a thing for big bad-a$$ red guys. ![]()

I'm *usually* really good at voices and will do the same Mel, go to imdb to prove myself right (or in reality everyone else wrong) so I'm surprised I missed his voice considering I think he's a fab actor and does villians extremely well.
Atm, I'm trying to find out who the voice actor is for the female main character of Horizon Zero Dawn (a recent trailer release at E3). I'm certain I know that voice... but I just can't pick it, ugh! I've seen some suggest Ali Hillis (Scout Harding) but I dunno, I can hear a difference but could just be great voice acting.

Isn't she the voice of Liara and FF Lighting?

So, GE did a random singing stream just now--I thought it was going to be over before anyone visited the thread or I'd have posted a link, but TBH it was pretty silly, and if anyone's bummed out that they missed it he apparently wants to do it again. But the possibly-relevant bit of information: his Cullen voice was pretty dead-on, much better than it was last time he was doing this sort of thing. I'm choosing to believe this means recent studio time.

Yeah she did them as well... I mean it could be her but I don't hear it atm
Ooh, I hope so. I'll be hella depressed if there is no Cullen/no Cullen romance in future DLC.
That gif is hilarious! And yes I have tried this with previous cats & outcomes were the same.

I'm romancing Cullen for this play through. Tell me, is my Lady Trevelyan pretty enough for him?
Now that I can make screen grabs I'll probably go crazy in every cutscene. ![]()

MelissaGT or Fontofnothing or any of the people who do lovely screenarchery, have any of you gotten a clear enough shot of Knight-Captain Rylen to see his eye color, etc.? (It's Cullen-related, trying to write a conversation between the two.)

I'm pretty certain they're a darkish blue. I don't have a screen shot though, sorry.

Oh, man, yes! Thank you! And I'd say from the eyebrows and beard scruff that his hair is dark brown to black. In my screenshots (I can't get closeups,) I couldn't even see the tattoos on the left side of his nose, lol. A very interesting look for a Templar, rather Carta-ish instead of the solid yeoman-to-noble relatively prosperous look most of them have...

I rather like the Knight-Captain
a dry sense of humour, and a look that says he gets things done. Wouldn't mind seeing more of him.
I love that irreverent type of humor, which is why I want to write a conversation with him. I'd definitely enjoy seeing more of him and of Charter.
