What's curious about this, tho, is that the other lines that are clearly about Hawke have a male and female Hawke version. So if it's supposed to be specifically about Hawke, or even the Warden, you 'd think it would have the male counterpart. So it could just be about someone random to make us wonder.

There is a male version, I just didn't save a copy of it. (Hence my initially saying it was either about Hawke or, less likely, the mage HoF, and if I understand correctly, riverbanks confirmed it's in a Hawke-related dialogue tree--my version doesn't show the conditions for or sequence of lines, just the lines themselves with extremely loose organization.)

 

Also, does anyone have the sound file? I'd love to hear it.

Hey, Cullenites! I haven had Internet access since March- could someone fill me in on what's been going on?

Assuming you know about Jaws of Hakkon and Cullen's limited involvement in that, the only relevant news I can think of since March is, in order of increasing shakiness:

* World of Thedas 2 came out in May and has a fantastic section on Cullen.

* Leliana's VA has recorded for Story DLC #2, which is a good sign for Cullen being in it.

* Cine people have been working really hard this week, which may mean that that part of development on the DLC is nearly finished.

* Several DA devs are going to SDCC July 9-12, which might mean there's a chance of the DLC being announced there (but there were also plenty of them at PAX East and they didn't announce JoH until a few weeks after that).

 

EDIT: Also, not Cullen-related but kind of a big deal, at least to me: 1. Gaider's writing another DA book, involving Fenris. 2. There's a legit survey leak that vaguely describes the final DA:I DLC, which (based on Flynn's comments about a DLC involving the Deep Roads) is probably not the same as the second DA:I DLC. 3. They have explicitly ruled out the HoF and more or less explicitly ruled out new hairstyles for DA:I.

It's on nexusmods. The modder went out of their way to add not only missing dialogue from Zevran's romance, but also dialogue with other party members. It even adds back the "persuade" option to find out more about the Joining from Alistair. Zevran, Oghren and Loghain have more dialogue too after a glitch that messed up the ability to make them more friendly was fixed, so you learn more about them and how they feel about you. A bunch of missing banter is restored also. Morrigan has her own separate mod on the site too, since her dialogue was also majorly cut. For a Cousland, different dialogue occurs with Howe too. All these messed up flags made the game incomplete if played without it. I was shocked at what was missing! All your companions had so much more depth to them than I thought possible.

 

@riverbanks most likely the Gallows, but I feel the Arishok battle really won the hearts of the people, him included.

Is that the exact name? I just searched for Zevran under the companions category and didn't see anything with that name or that sounded like that was what it would do. I've been considering replaying DAO specifically to enjoy a Zevran romance again (probably with another Surana or possibly an Amell so I can get the Cullen intro - I've never actually had Zevran during Broken Circle because I've always done that quest first, and I want to hear his snarky remark...)

This codex pops up when you ask Cullen about his background, and I was wondering if it's a glitch? You can also read it in that little cobwebby room under Skyhold. I was wondering if there's some implication that he's descended from Dane and Hafter, considering his big furry hood or whatever that critter is on his outfit.

 

Regardless of whether it's a glitch or not, it's one of my favorite codices.

LOL I never read that, but get it every time I talk to Cullen. That part about running around in furs was hilarious! And look at what Cullen wears! 

And his golden locks, too! I like to think that Lady Marchellette was his mother or grandmother.

I'm not sure, but I think I may have had that option on one of mine, and I haven't romanced her (though I took a couple of flirts.)
