MMmmmmhhhh... Just the mention of smut & modern AU made me think of Cullen in 70s style jacket... O.o

 

Are you moving somewhere far or just a few blocks away? When I was still back home we moved once to a house a few block away & it was a very long process... Like a month to properly move. But if it's far away guess that it's quicker XD

Bah. I don't really, quite move for two weeks either, but we close on Tuesday. If you see someone running around like a chicken with its head cut off... that would be me!

 

     

 

 

... now back to the . . . sorta-smut . . . sorta . . .  

My youngest is moving out (the one I'll be driving) for her first real professional job this week, then I'm moving to a smaller apartment closer to my work (I want to do the least housework possible .) My oldest and her fiance will be moving into their first house not long after that. Not sure how we managed to have three household moves in about 5 weeks...only us.

 

On the other hand, I've moved, um, on average about every 2.5 years if I exclude temporary quarters   . Half my stuff is permanently kept in things that just need to be taped shut to be moved, and I'm a minimalist, except for books and some craft stuff. Unpacking is easy; I use the computer game method. Get up, unpack one or two boxes, sit down, play for 10 to 15 minutes, get up, unpack one or two boxes, sit down to play, etc. It's amazing how fast it goes that way (as long as I set a timer.) The weird thing this time is it'll be the first time in 30 years I haven't had one of my children living with me. That will take some adjustment.

 

Good luck with everything (returns the high-five!) The less often you move and the more people and pets you're moving, the harder it is, especially if you're already in tight quarters because there's no place to stack completed boxes. I hope you find time to finish the Cullen story, but if not, I look forward to seeing it when you do!

I've seen Cullen paired with nearly everyone already. Several Bullen fanarts but it's mostly really soft (there's one of them doing forehead touch & it is really sweet). Somehow it scares me a lot on the concept of Bullen after knowing about Bull's black box.

 

Believe it or not I've also seen some Sullen (Samson x Cullen) art that's really really heartwarming. There's everything O.o

So, I haven't finished my modern AU Cullen story yet, but I did manage to eek out new chapter for Fool's Errand for Cullen positivity week. Yay!!

 

Fool's Errand Chapter 14: Collaboration

 

Summary:  Three years after allowing Marian Hawke to escape Kirkwall, a disgraced Cullen is sent on a desperate quest to find her. Can he earn her trust in time to regain what he’s lost and finally redeem them all for the role they played in igniting the mage-templar war? Set in 9:40, after the events of DA2 and Asunder. Now AU to DA:I.

 

Chapter Summary: Hawke finally talks to King Alistair and puts their risky plan into motion, meanwhile her relationship with Cullen just keeps getting more complicated (and yes, they finally have the Come to Andraste talk).

There's no official height released. And his ingame height varies with the scene animation and whatever the floor is made from. So I think you can  headcanon what you like so long as it's in the realm of "no shorter than f!Trev."
