Apparently, "The details are scarce for now, but Mike Laidlaw responded to a fan’s question and revealed that the protagonist of Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hero of Falden, will not be a part of the upcoming DLC."
Yeah I don't really think they'll ever bring the Warden back >.<

or rylen. there are a number of men i would love to see return in future games. also scout harding. she needs to be full companion in some future game. i will play both to romance her and to follow her around, asking her to shoot things for me as my platonic bff

As much as I'm intrigued by Michel and would love to see him return, I doubt it that he'll really make it to the next DLC or game 
Rylen & Harding have bigger chance to reappear than Michel. Michel's already a huge character in a book and he can die in DA:I so I don't think they'll even bother, too much string attached and I don't think he's that popular either. Tylen & Harding are characters that can't die in DA:I and don't have previous ties. 
I'd be happy to explore his character post-TME though, about how he deal now with his identity. Michel's a man who compartimentalize everything, an excellent player of the Grand Game. I find him both a fascinating character and a contradictory one, a scary one even... killing those elfs while repeating "I am Michel de Chevin, I AM MICHEL DE CHEVIN"... 
. He's not a forthright character like Cullen or Alistair. He's much colder and ruthless. (heartless as some said)

Yeah, it looks pretty sweet. Tevinter, ho! I suppose any new story pitch can be described as "X meets Y" but our new magekiller sounds like a combo of Fenris and Zevran. I'm more intrigued by his ladyfriend being called his "handler." Hmm.

Ohh, I love Ser Barris too! My first playthrough I let him die on accident and I got some other Templar, who wasn't too shabby either mind you, but I was a bit disappointed. Next time I sided with Templars, I got Ser Barris but didn't know that you could promote him by doing a couple War Table missions. I think on my 4th playthrough I finally got the promotion cutscene, aww it was so nice. Loved it!
He is awesome, i wish there would be more cutscenes with him.
Edit: I also thought that Rylen was a woman for the longest time. When you get that "desk scene" with Cullen, he talks to his men and say something about "Rylen's men will do that and that blah blah" and then a woman says "Yes sir." Well, I always thought Rylen was her, heh.

Driving through Austin yesterday, I started laughing and had to explain why this was funny to some of my family...
I couldn't get a photo as we went past, so this is actually from Google Maps. In the process, I discovered there's a Cullen Lane in south Austin, and a Cullen Blvd in Houston as well as a Cullen Park. Not sure why it's so common, it isn't the name of any Texas historical figure that I can recall...

and it's all ice-cold baby-blue eyes and facial tattoos. and i'm thinking, tats on a templar? like... WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR BACKSTORY? I NEED IT. PLEASE RETURN AS A ROMANCE IN WHATEVER COMES NEXT AND SPEAK TO ME IN YOUR PRETTY VOICE.

Cullen Avenue is in north Austin, runs into Burnet about halfway between Allandale and Anderson Lane. Cullen Lane looks like it runs through a mall or shopping center (Southpark Meadows area off I35?) Oddly enough, though I lived in Austin for 3 years, I almost never went to south Austin...
Edit: if you find it, you should definitely get photos next to one of the street signs...
I like to think Cullen, Barris and Rylen are the templar trinity of bros. In my head, they all get together once every few months (after inquisition) and have a boys night in (Cullen practices keeping his clothes for when he plays cards against Josie)
I didn't even think about Barris being dead if you side with the mages. I'm glad that templars are close to my inquisitor's heart 'cause that means he always gets to live 
Although I miss not being able to meet felix, and telling Cullen that my inquisior wouldn't change anything because then she might not have met him. The price we pay for our character's canon

I wonder about the tattoo as well. Why do they even put it there... I don't think they'll just use random character generator for him right?

Actually I was quite sure that I didn't manage to find Barris during attack of Haven if I side with Mages. The lieutenant was Denam (if side with Templar' it's Fiona). So the only way to ensure Barris death is actually by siding with templars & let the great hall health level down?

lol! Well, Burnet's my old stomping ground from when I lived there, but I moved away before DAO came out so I never really paid attention to the fact there was a Cullen Ave. The street name I remember noticing is Aggie Lane, which is a hilarious street name to see in Austin...

I suppose they won't address anything much to do with her specifically after the conclave incase she's dead/alive etc although I wonder if he'll be aware of her involvement with the Venatori

I thought you'd see the humor in that. Yep, Aggie Lane still shows up in Google Map, though it's been 5 or 6 years since I last drove through that neighborhood. I used to live a few blocks from there, and I always found it entertaining. It's almost at 183, though, so I assume it got that name before Austin crept out that far.
