Not that I’ve heard, I was playing on the orlesian map. I can’t remember exactly what he said, it was something along the lines of “our agents were successful, not that I’m surprised” I’ve never heard that one before. 

Ahh. Yeah, I've heard that one a bunch, so it's definitely not new for Patch 8; I couldn't say for 100% certain if it was there on day 1, but I'd bet it was. (EDIT: Just checked my game dialogue export files from February, and it was there then, at any rate.)

 

Still, though, unless Leli's only in it in her capacity as the Divine, I'm sure all three of them are in it.

Hey, so I went to Ferelden. That scene near the lake was cute, but... so short?! I was back in Skyhold just after, and nothing else.

 

I guess I have to go further in the scenario to have more (intimate) scenes?

 

So what is Cullen's personnal quest in fact, was it just that scene near the lake?

Um, prepare yourself. They're all short. That's why it's probably good to pace yourself.  But you'll get your intimacy. This was "the date." Is this your first DA:I romance?

cullenmance is darling, but yes, the scenes are a bit short.

 

advice #1: note your saves, so you can easily load up the smexy scenes whenever you like (too many 'skyhold' saves to count!)

 

advice #2: fanart/fanfic to supply cullen cravings on demand. is like crack

Ah, you're in for a delight then. They're short, but Cullen's seems to be one of the fullest. Esp compared to Solas, for example, who doesn't even have woo breaks. You did Halamshiral already then? Had you started the romance already...?

So happy I'm not the only one that did this. Was pretty embarrassing though when my bf walked in seeing me play the same scene again. I played it off as them just hooking up again and he went quietly back to his computer

Not bad, been enjoying re-playing DAI after taking a few months worth of a break. I think I can recite that beginning part perfectly by now w/ all the remakes I did  Cullen's romance was so sweet and I'm really glad about the way they addressed his previous attitude towards mages and lyrium addiction. Everything was Cullen and nothing hurt! 

 

Yea I pretty much expected things to die down after the hype of the game coming out wore off. Some silence is not always a bad thing after all w/ some of the craziness we had to go through pre-release

True enough! I haven't played in some months. I still haven't even played JoH past the first o'erlong conversation with Harding. But maybe soon, once life calms again.

 

And, indeed, lack of hype can be blessing in disguise.

I’ve got the feeling that we may be getting more Cullen content in the next DLC. I was playing multiplayer earlier on and I heard some voice overs from Cullen that I hadn’t heard before so I’m currently assuming that they are new. I’ve been playing MP for months so I find it hard to believe that I haven’t heard every single intro/outro voice over from the various characters but it’s always a possibility I suppose.  If I’m right however that they are new then it’s safe to assume Cullen is getting some new content, they wouldn’t get Greg Ellis back in to do voice work for a few throwaway lines for MP.

Oh I just made him a Dragonborn, currently making him a Musketeer along with Michel & a couple of OCs (the three musketeer yeah!), and trying to undress him waist up but abs & man's torso are freakingly difficult to draw . And I'm planning on giving him a horse too since Michel now get one already. The power of fanart. (^__^)v

^{In fact before starting the game, I wondered who I would romance.  I played DA O and DA2 a very long time ago (and not as a mage) so I didn't remember Cullen so well (and he didn't look THAT handsome at that time).}

Iron Bull seemed funny but not really my type (maybe I'll do it for fun one day. I always wanted a Qunari that could be romance-able but well) I always had a hard time liking romances where the guy is always having sex with other partners than you/talking about other lovers (like Zevran or Iron Bull).}

 

Blackwall seemed to me a bit too weeping... and he rejects you in some scenes...

 

And I thought "I hope Cullen is not the "clone" of Alistair, you know, with the same temper, etc... The fearful type of guy who doesn't want to take responsabilities (I really liked Alistair, but well). 

 

And THEN I fell upon that youtube video of the first kiss. OMG. THAT KISS. With the messenger interrupting, and then he kisses you passionately. I was conquered   I knew I wanted HIM and I was right to choose him. He is so cute and romantic and loving. And he has some temper, takes responsabilities...

 

How can he always say or do the right thing, the right way, at the right time? he's perfect   

 

I loved the part in "Wicked hearts" where he is harassed by all his admirers and keeps saying "no, thank you" every time someone wants to invite him   I kept running along that corridor to hear new discussions, but I'm sure I missed some, is there a website where they are all written?

So alright someone made the animation for Cullistair. I seriously salute the artist who made it because damn that' expression & body language are really something. And that gal is self taught for animation & rendering for 3 MONTHS. 3 FREAKING MONTHS ONLY. I made her a standing ovation seriously. Alright this is one thing made in the fandom that I'm the most impressed with TBH.

my hubby has grown used to all my odd fan tendencies. but with the list of saves - i have a master post of what they all are, because i had to keep track of them. HAD TO! i tell you.

 

and yes, omg, kiss scene slays me every time. it's the delivery of the lines, i swear. not just ellis, but regin, who's little [startled gasp] totally sells it. 

 

hmmm... don't mind me, i'll just be getting all swoony over here.

I asked her & apparently she'll study animation next year. Seriously I can't wait to see what she'll create later on. Her and Kelgrid. But kel's doing 2D traditional animation. I really really would love to see more animations in DA fandom  but well, that's months and months of hard work doing a few minutes of short pieces.
