And everything I've seen thus far enviroment wise is beautiful. Just as good as JoH. They've got enviromental are down.
Now I'm quite happy that DAI Cinematic Tools is not working with newest patch. At least it means I'll finish my first Descent pt normally, without pausing every second to make sceenshot.

Some time ago in this thread there was a talk about Templar x Cullen. After that I started to think about my own Templar lady (for Cullen, of course). And here she is. She's going to be my nightmare completionist playthrough. Rowan Trevelyan. Devout Andrastian who really wants to believe Maker chose this path for her. Her faith is the only thing that keeps her from thinking about her unbelievable lack of luck. Also former Templar trainee who really hoped to continue her training after the Conclave's success.

For my first playthrough I'm planning to take Varric, Cassandra and Vivienne/Dorian. With Aine being Knight Enchanter I think it should be fine.

Cool! He's been the most reliable (with IB) for dwarf stuff so I was hopeful.
So, looks like I'll be the one testing out whether Solas has content since Volya will be taking Blackwall, Varric, and Solas, I think, if I can get Varric regeared. I'd prefer Cole for this, but I'm still getting a feel for how to run him and somehow I don't think this DLC is the right place to iron out the learning curve

There's already a lot more cinematic content for this DLC. Very, very impressed so far. And there's new banter!!!!

Per the modders, there are some issues with Cheat Engine tables and DAI Cinematic Tools is no longer working. So heads up if you plan on updating today. I'm holding off til all issues have been addressed.

Awe rats...downloading the dlc won't break them though right? You just have to remove them for that part?

I rolled back my playthrough to just before Cory on my Solavellan, so I'm feeling better for having had my mini Solas fix in the first part of JoH. I think I'll switch over to Descent now that I have my loverly avvar war paint on.

Actually, this is my Cullenmancer. Solas is in Volya's party because I RPed them having long talks about magical theory and the Fade, not subjects she'd bring up much with Cullen. So no Solas romance interactions unless I load up a pre-Cory save from Derzka (yes, I gave Solas the IQ with "muscles" as he puts it who enjoys hitting things and Cullen is paired with the intellectual .)
