I think I got that one once, but I usually drop Varric out of the party in favor of Sera (weird I know since I love dwarves so much, but I find DAI Varric a bit depressing if not paired with exactly the right party, and it's simpler to gear Sera's bows than Bianca.) I'm kind of waiting on some estimates on how well it scales because I'd really like to take one of my dwarves in first.

They scale exactly to level if you mean enemies. I leveled up twice during the DLC and the enemies continued to level with me. Combat was harder than JoH for me, the final boss in particular is the hardest I've fought in Inquisition.

So far, at least before I had to leave for work, I didn't run into any major combat issues. I had more issues with the enemies being bullet damage sponges than me dying a lot. For reference, I'm running a Level 26 Knight Enchanter, along with Max Guard Cassandra, so I have Barrier and Guard out the ass.

That's one of the reasons I'm considering my Dalish mage over my post-Cory Dalish warrior, she's a knight enchanter and virtually nothing seems to get through to her. I'm seriously in love with KE's.

I don't know if anyone here had the issue, but remember when we talked about that sound synchronization problem during the "regular kiss" scene with Cullen?
Well it was getting better for me, the sound was almost perfectly synchronized... and then today, (I didn't play for some days), the sound for the kiss was totally desynchronized (the little music even starting after the end of the kiss). So I tried just after that to ask for a kiss again, to check if the sound still had problems, and.... black loading screen! little music, no kiss sound, and black screen.
Infinite loading... I had to quit the game.
I thought it was because the update was not finished, so I waited until the end of the update, but same thing. First kiss desynchronized and second kiss is a black screen.
Come on Cullen I know it is a censored screen because you didn't see your Inquisitor for a while, and you wanted more than a kiss but still, weird. I don't know if it is linked to that precise moment of the game... maybe after a few hours of play, if I come back to Skyhold it will be ok again? I fear to ask for a kiss now.

I'm thinking people that finish that fast are either playing on Casual or at very low levels, because playing post-game at level 24 on a harder difficulty is taking me forever, lol. I've burned through those 4-5 hours already and haven't even completed the second part of the main quest yet.

Yes, exploration is also taking me a lot of time! Don't ever have a character telling me "well we don't have to do this optional side quest, but I'm cu~rious..." - of course I'm gonna have to do it the minute they say that.
I did it post game on normal at level 26 and finished it at about 5 hours. That includes the side stuff too, went back and checked out all the operations.
Just finished up. And damn, this felt shorter than Hakkon, but was so much more interesting to me.

Oh, sorry, missed that one.
I assume those started after patch 9, right? I checked and I don't have this problem. Maybe something during downloading patch went wrong? I don't know on which platfrom you're playing, but do you have option to repair the game? And, does it happen only during this particular moment? (I mean, have you tried earlier saves? Does the same happen?)

I saw it , but I just don't have an answer. I've never seen that problem. I thought some folks said last time you mentioned the sound issues that it just... happens sometimes. So, I dunno, the support subforum may be a better bet. I'd also go back in and do some testing to see when/how often it happens outside of that one kiss.

Good to know that it's meatier than the 4 hours sounded. Seems it just depends on your style of play how quickly it goes. I've only gotten to the first camp so far... and I can already feel that this one is going to kick my butt. My dual-wielder has never been the strongest IQ, so this may be beyond her.

I'm not sure on the syncing but as for the black screen, I would get that whenever I went for a kiss straight after one. sometimes it would do as you say, hang on black screen, I would have to ctrl alt delete out, other times it would only be black for a few moments missing him coming up behind her and just straight into the kiss. It always worked fine afterwards, just have to remember no two kisses in a row (meanie Cullen *pout*)
