Ok so I'm reading this now and:

"There is a chunk of Trespasser where you get to catch up with old friends, and that is certainly our most hotly requested thing for DLC. When we look at critiques for The Descent, it’s often “Well, I just wanted more out of my followers.” We wanted to make sure that you have the opportunity to deal with your advisors like Cullen and Josephine, but also that the followers are there and you have a chance to see how things have turned out for them."

Great news, I'm happy they listened to the fans who wanted more interactions with advisors/followers :) and we have proof that we can talk with Cullen

SO gameinformer just released their interview with MLaw. He confirms this is officially their last piece of content for the DA:I world. :(

http://www.gameinfor...n-pax-2015.aspx

I know they’re different BioWare teams, but some of the the goals of Trespasser remind me of Mass Effect 3’s Citadel DLC. Did you take any inspiration from that?
I would say we took some notes there. Citadel happens in the timeline – it happens mid-mission, before the end. It’s not an epilogue in the same way, though when it was released, for many people it was their last experience with Mass Effect. This big thing about Citadel that we found resonant was that opportunity to hang out with your friends again and saddle up for another mission. There’s a bit of a joy in seeing these folks again and seeing how they’ve evolved. How are things with Dorian now? How are things with Blackwall? Of course, we can change elements of that based on how you played Inquisition and the decisions you made. There is a chunk of Trespasser where you get to catch up with old friends, and that is certainly our most hotly requested thing for DLC. When we look at critiques for The Descent, it’s often “Well, I just wanted more out of my followers.” We wanted to make sure that you have the opportunity to deal with your advisors like Cullen and Josephine, but also that the followers are there and you have a chance to see how things have turned out for th
em.

So have official confirmation that there's Cullen content in it yeeeeeeeeeeey! ^_^

I would actually suggest everyone just read the article because just about every block of text is relevant and important. Like they've accounted for the Divines to be accessible and the fact that this will NOT wrap up Solas' story. And apparently while the winter palace makes an appearance every other space is new.

I'm now in mourning. This is NOT the Wolf Hunt DLC we were hoping for. Solas is only peripheral and his story will not be wrapped up. Because it's too "complicated."

:bandit:  :crying:  :alien:

there goes some of my enthusiasm...

Is he talking about for the DLC or when we used Morrigan's?

Good question, I thought he was talking about the DLC but someone tweeted at him that they saw a difference in-game... not sure now.

Now we have to see if Greg can tell us something about it, but he might be very careful now  :P I'm sure some people already tried to ask him about this new content!

If they created something so mysterious and "complicated" I guess it means that he will appear in a next DA game. They didn't create all that story/mystery for nothing ;)

I always thought that the gang would stop by for the holidays.

Now, what I really want to know is this a seperate map? Do we log in, press the menu button and get: play Trespasser as an option? Since it has been two years. All these places have changed.

And Cullen was right about the security threat. Bless his little overly paraniod heart.

The environment at the Crossroads is subtly but noticeably different with an elf than with a human or dwarf. There are some comparison vids in the Solas thread.

Interestingly, I believe the Crossroads react to a Vashoth the same way as to an elf...

But my Lavellan will not be the PC in the next game. So for my romance, it's now or never.

long sad sigh. That is actually far more depressing than I would've expected.

It's actually possible that since they had planned this a long time ago- they might've recorded much of the lines for it and just didn't have time to put it all together.

On the other hand, it means his story is larger than just what one DLC allows for, and not easily wrapped up in an hour. He'll probably keep showing up in future games, like Morrigan. If you look back, Witch Hunt didn't actually answer anything about her or give her romancers much solid conclusion, either, but she came back around and continues to be relevant to the story, in the larger scale of events.

eta: heh, I see Vana's already made the same point. Thread's going fast today!

It will show up as an option on your War Table after endgame. Most of the action is in Halamshiral, and then you go elsewhere to new places via eluvian.

In the article R2 linked it says that in a post-game save, it's available as an operation and as soon as you click it- it starts up right away 2 years later.

So we were just talking about this a few hours ago...

tumblr_ntve5mVia91r5f630o1_540.png

He's talking about the eluvians. Anyone with steady Lavellans know what's this about? I pretty much just speedran through with my one Lavellan for Sera's romance and didn't pay attention to the rest of the game at all, so I don't remember any difference between her eluvian experience and any of my other Inkies...

I've only gotten my two Dalish that far, so I wouldn't have noticed a difference yet.

Elf at the Crossroads:

vs

Stinky Human:

-It's all weird and warped like the whole scene is under water. Also green gas. Human quizzie farts pollute the Crossroads.

LOL T i t for tat, my love. If his story isn't done, you won't be able to kill him. ;)

At least, not until DA4. When he won't be romanceable. siiiigh. so then I may not care. as much.

Darn it, I'm trying to stay optimistic here, people! La la la, sunshine and rainbows for Solavellan! *puts fingers in ears*

I'm also expecting some nice sweet loveliness in the Cullen department. If they throw in a romance bit with Scout Harding, my life (Inquisition wise) will be complete.

-R2: there may be something sweet for the Solas romance, even if all the mystery around Solas won't be resolved. Are you playing a Cullen romance as well? a little hug by Cullen and you might forget your pain (for a moment). But I'm sure they'll do something for Solasmancers.

No, you guys are right. I'm sure there will be something. And it will be awesome. I'm sure all the LIs will get some great closure, since they're using Citadel as a model. And the Cullenmance will be sweet and supportive and brilliant, like it's been all along. My Trev will be a very lucky girl. The devs have been worried about closure for our heroes, so this seems like the perfect solution. Kudos to them again! <3

Will one of you ask Greg about that new DLC on his twitter? or do you think he is not allowed to say anything?

I never understood how twitter really worked so I don't even have an account

From the gameinformer interview thing, one lonely line (that I found) about advisers

We wanted to make sure that you have the opportunity to deal with your advisors like Cullen and Josephine, but also that the followers are there and you have a chance to see how things have turned out for them.

Well. It's something :)
