Someone already did.
I went to his twitter page but didn't see anything about the new DLC, no information from him I mean.

No, you guys are right. I'm sure there will be something. And it will be awesome. I'm sure all the LIs will get some great closure, since they're using Citadel as a model. And the Cullenmance will be sweet and supportive and brilliant, like it's been all along. My Trev will be a very lucky girl. The devs have been worried about closure for our heroes, so this seems like the perfect solution. Kudos to them again!
On the other hand, it means his story is larger than just what one DLC allows for, and not easily wrapped up in an hour. He'll probably keep showing up in future games, like Morrigan. If you look back, Witch Hunt didn't actually answer anything about her or give her romancers much solid conclusion, either, but she came back around and continues to be relevant to the story, in the larger scale of events.
eta: heh, I see Vana's already made the same point.
Thread's going fast today!
That's actually not at all comforting to anyone who's romancing Solas because it suggests the breakup is permanent. But we can be hopeful. Maybe there's an option for a Lavellan to vanish with him at the end after the Inquisition is wrapped up.
The fact we see Cullen riding with them does answer the question of whether he really survived breaking the lyrium addiction, at least! ![]()
From the gameinformer interview thing, one lonely line (that I found) about advisers
We wanted to make sure that you have the opportunity to deal with your advisors like Cullen and Josephine, but also that the followers are there and you have a chance to see how things have turned out for them.
Well. It's something
And since they mention the two romanced advisors and not Leliana, it strongly suggests they mean some romance content. And Harding was at the war table (more Harding is always good.)
Elf at the Crossroads:
vs
Human:
-It's all weird and warped like the whole scene is under water.
Ah, so it's exactly what we were talking about, they did pay enough attention to make it different for elves (and vashoth, someone mentioned earlier?), even if only slightly. Good to know.
Guess this also gives credibility to that theory that qunari may or may not descend from a corruption of elves by dragon blood in ye ole times of magicky magicks, or something like that. Makes sense why they would be able to navigate the eluvians now without suffering the debilitating effects that humans and dwarves suffer.
I'm sure Cullen and the other advisors will have some scenes in the DLC, even though they haven't said a whole lot we'll probably get some new romance scenes with our love interests along with just normal scenes for everyone.

I mean, that someone already asked him. I haven't seen a reply yet.

LOL No, not really at all, since Witch Hunt was pretty much a kick in the teeth for folks who wanted closure for their Warden with Morrigan. So, now Trespasser may be more similar to being 'Wolf Hunt' than I realized.
I don't think it means the breakup is necessarily permanent, but Solasmancers will only have a small window to resolve their story with him before he goes off to do the rest of his story in potential future installments either without her or with her as an NPC in the future. It's something. But not what, at least, I had hoped.
Well, they're modeling this off Citadel's formula so betting we get stuff.
I'm still confused about the Divine in all this... if you have good approval with both Cass and Viv and you unhardened Leliana... I can't see Divine Victoria turning on you.
In the article MLaw says that basically the qunari are a big enough threat that whoever is Divine will don the armor for one last mission. Sounds a little handwavey, while some of the other companions may or may not appear, apparently, like if you didn't have high enough approval with Cole. I found that sorta surprising.
Should we maybe not bug him about it? Why would he give us details that are potentially spoilers?
Considering the events earlier this year on twitter, generally leaving Greg alone seems like a sound plan, yeah.
This has all made me realize that this is probably the last time we'll ever see Cullen...

I dunno, never say never. He's been in every game, as has Leliana, and she even died! But he'll probably never have as large a role again.

So we will meet Solas once again in Dragon Age 5 and there he will talk about how Lavellan is elsewhere raising their children ? Because that's what Morrigan does.

LOL Yeah, something like that. I suppose it's more than the Zevranmancers got. ![]()

Nah. Cullen's one of the main constants for Dragon Age games, along with Leliana and having opportunities to wipe out entire Dalish villages.

Double-edged knife, isn't it? On one hand, thinking that this is likely the last we'll see of him is pretty sad. On the other hand, the poor man's been through so much, he deserves to get his riding-off-into-the-sunset happy ending. On one hand, Alistair showing up again to be all lovey-dovey over his waifu was really cute, and would be lovely to see with a romanced Cullen in the future too - on the other hand, he could possibly die, which none of us want for our little noodle.
I don't know if I even want my Inquisitor to show up again, at least not in the way that Hawke did. My Hawke possibly dying and leaving Sebastian all alone again was a terrible thought - I'd never want to have to make the same choice with my Inquisitor, or think about Cullen dealing with the death of his love. Too sad, too sad. If it was a given that we'd see Cullen happy and safe, great. But if it came between getting that kind of return (because it's BioWare, no one is ever safe) or just not seeing Cullen and Quizz again at all, I think I'd rather just keep my happy ending headcanons.
LOL Yeah, something like that. I suppose it's more than the Zevranmancers got.
I got to hear Zevran get all hot and bothered when Iron Bull did some rather hot things to him. So I'm pretty satisfied with my DAI Zev time. ![]()

I mean, even the Sebastian romance got more closure and post-game content than the Zevran romance, and if that's not saying something...

I ... wasn't aware of this! Waddya know!
Also, side note, goddamn Matt Rhodes is hot AF. He's hot and can draw, he's the entire package!

Isn't this when you come in with your signature?

Actually you can look up the qunari scene. It's the same as a human's. Qunari, close but not the real thing: elves!
