As a PC player who doesn't use mods I am definitely liking the wardrobe addition planned for the next patch. It helps that I have 5 Inquisitors who are between lvl 3 and 5 so I've still got a lot of DAI playing to do hehe. Plus I restarted my main Inquisitor, and only Cullen romancer, because I used the incorrect worldstate when creating, she wasn't meant to end up taking over as main originally. Very excited for this new DLC + patch ![]()

I'm really looking forward to the new DLC as well... I want to know how things work out with Cullen but I am thinking about trying to finish my Solas romancer first (currently TW3 & Geralt have been taking up my play time) so that what ever happens with Solas will have more of a impact...
Even though Cullen is the only toon I really wanted to romance, I think I missed the opportunity to feel the full impact of Solas' & BW's romances... missed the "shocked" value. Also I don't care what they do with Cullen cause no matter what my IQ is having a happy ending with him (though I agree, I think he'll have a happy ending with his IQ)

I'm not even gonna ask for context, but I do likes me the imagery of lifeguard Cullen, running in Baywatch-style slow motion, with his dingly-dangly dingly-dangling in a tiny red speedo as his noodles flow wildly in the wind. I'd be fine with an ending scene like that.
Has uh... has this been done yet? *cough* fanart-wise? I might just uh... take a swing at this. Maybe that'll help my epilogue depression.
I kind of wish they gave us a little more forewarning for Trespasser. I restarted Origins and I would've liked to get through 2 and then a reroll of my Cullenmancer for a more canon worldstate. >.>

I'm so torn! Solas or Cullen first? My Cullen romancer is my canon and I'd rather play her first but then I missed out on the shock value of Solas the first time...gah!

Aaaw, I was so excite.
It seems the tiles are bugging out even with the spoilers toggle lifted, and I have to load a Hakkon save to update the tiles. Only I lost my Hakkon saves, so... oh well.
(what's an Alpha Group, though? I see the anouncement in the Beta forums, but nothing about a different Alpha group)
Forget I said anything....
Rest assured, it'll be fixed for you all very soon.

I haven't seen anything to that effect, so do go for it!
(and even if it has been done, I can't imagine anyone would not want more Cullen in a speedo anyway
)
On one hand, I wish we'd got a few weeks more forwarning too, so I could've finished my final playthrough and played Trespasser on it, instead of playing it on a throwaway save. I don't know if I'll have the energy to play it more than once - Citadel, for instance, wasn't a sad DLC or anything, but it had such a defining tone of closure to the trilogy that I was never able to touch the series again for replays. If Trespasser feels like that, like a real final chapter, I may only be able to play it with my canon Inquisitor once, and then leave the game untouched until DA5 comes. Who knows.
But on the other hand, now that we know it's coming, it's hard enough to wait one week for it... imagine having to wait several! We'd all have gone boinkers until it was out. ![]()

I'm pretty sure the waiting has already driven me insane. It's like the week before Christmas, Easter and my birthday all rolled up together. On the one hand I can't wait to play, on the other hand... it'll all be over. Left with just the long wait for Dragon Age IV. No more new adventures, no more new Cullen, no more... ARGHH. WANT AND DON'T WANT.

LOL Another unpopular opinion, but I sort of wish they had waited to release it in December. Then at least I wouldn't be dodging spoilers while I don't have time to really give it my attention. And i'd have sufficient time for my mourning of the end of DAI!I'm pretty sure the waiting has already driven me insane. Start of the school year, BW? Really? LOL
I can only think that they tried to get the jump on a few of the games coming out but... It really is coinciding with the start of the school year. We don't need to depress students before they get their first assignments lol. And I'd argue that if you live in a climate where the mornings start getting cold- end of August/beginning of September they're like the most depressing week(s) of the year...for me anyway. :\

Thought: Several times we have heard tell of what an Qunari invasion would look like, and for all that this appears to be an assault, I don't think this is the invasion. Not by a longshot.
I think this just a testing of the waters, so to speak. At the very least, I'm betting it's an attempt by the Ariqun (who has all say in matters of magic and Ben-Hassrath) to test both the potential of the eluvian network as weapon as well as test the nature of Thedas' defenses against such magic.

Considering what happened to the Arishok in DA2 (and did anyone REALLY let him live?), I'd think they'd very much want to test what they'll be up against before launching a full-scale invasion.

Oh God, back in my days in the Babylon 5 fandom, on the NSFW Fic list we used to joke about our favorite characters as cabana boys. Now there's a flashback.
Riverbanks, DA 5?

Agreed. I'm wondering if this is more of the left hand doing something the right doesn't know about. And while attacking while south Thedas is weak would make sense, waiting two years. And an invasion through the Eluvian? One might think people learned from Avengers. If you're going to invade, doing use transportation that's going to make it hard to get as many troops on the ground as possible.
This needs to be added to the evil overlord this I think.
And God, it's good to see all these pics, as the last couple days have been scary as hell. I'm just glad to have here.

Well, Mike Laidlaw basically said as much in his interview with Ashe, no? That we'll find out what the Qunari were doing in Kirkwall, and more about their big picture, but that Trespasser will set us up for future things with them... IF DA is happening again, blahblah.

I'm already in love with Golden Nug. No more worries about thrones collection bugging, no more searches for seeds. Schematics for everyone
And new wardrobe is actually more than I expected. My canon lady is definitely happy.

OK, the first two categories of clothes in the wardrobe are basically recolors of the pajamas and the winter palace uniform (at least for the Dalish.) Some of the Outerwear stuff isn't bad, but the armor doesn't do anything for me.
Bad news - it appears to have broke the body resizing mod, sigh. I should have completed my Cullenmance play through while it wasn't painful to look at my Dalish inquisitor... I'm afraid to even log into my dwarves now.

They're playing it close to the vest because they most likely haven't put together anything to pitch yet. They need something to show the guys are the top before they get the green light.
DAI had the biggest release in Bioware history, and that includes things like Baldur's Gate 2. EA mentioned it in their earnings call as being partially responsible for that quarter's success, which was unexpected, especially since it was mentioned in the same "breath" as some of EA's big hitters.
I'll also point out that Magekiller is coming out soon. You don't continue to support a franchise you're closing down with ancillary material.
There'll be another game, unless something major happens between now and then, and when I say major, it's in the earthshaking category.
If we don't hear anything in about a year and a half, maybe two, since this is going to be MEA all the time when 2016 hits and the the new IP. A year and a half to two years. And remember, the panel was also about the future. They just can't confirm anything that EA hasn't said yes to yet.
And I hope you're okay,Akaneryuu, unlucky events seem to be a trend lately.

They make it clear it is possible to break from lyrium. In fact the slides at the end, if he stops point out many templars follow his lead.

In origin one templar in Denerim who stop taking lyrium gets mad.
The effect of the lyrium change like the quanaris and elfs in every game?
