Uh, not in my playthrough but to not super spoil (since you only heard about it) someone else mentions it. But it does get mentioned though.

My game froze in a neverending loading screen but I restarted the game and it fixed itself. Try restarting your game?

So it was. Combat wise it definitely felt that way

The combat was awesome. It was way better than Descent DLC and its laser gun shooting dwarves. Satisfying mini-bosses, gameplay adding to story, beautiful environments to smash things XD

I definitely had it mentioned but for the life of me I cannot remember by whom. My money is either on Josie or Leli. Someone said that there is a high chance that some clan folks survived but went into hiding. Cause you know I had to kill them even after I thought I figured out the deal.

It sure did and the finish had me going geronimo with my party. Admittedly I was pretty exhausted by that point and just wanted to finish it.

This is for romanced Cullen + disbanded Inquisition only. I haven't seen other versions with Cullen romanced but the Inquisition still active, or non-romanced but off the lyrium, etc. There are actually quite a few variants we could get for his fate... after I finish my own run I'll try looking through youtube for his other slides.

Everyone's happy except the Solas thread and the Sollavelan subfandom on tumblr, who seem to be either heartbroken or really pissed off. I guess it was as everyone predicted, no happy endings for the tearjerker romance.

Which is why I most likely won't be finishing my Solas-mance...I thought there might be some closure even bad closure but really? REALLY? To me dropping 100hrs on that kinda seems like a waste of time...almost as bad as my wasted ME2 playthrough were my Shep romanced Jacob *shudders*

haven't been on tumblr yet so dont know how it's over there . Have been in the solas thread and they all seem so heartbroken and sad. I just finished my Lavellan solas romance and I feel like eating icecream and watching ghost or something like that. The feels in this DLC almost killed me. Also if you didn't take sera adventuring do it the next time she happens to be one of the sweetest companions ever. Her notes on Cullen and the inquisitor made me laugh so hard

Aww, I quite liked that little contraption on Quizzie's hand in Red Jenny slides but I guess little crossbow is not the same as kickass bow. All in all I sorely miss the arm on all my quizzies. Actually the best case scenario could be for dw rogues, with a dagger being a permanent fixture.

Varric gives you an estate near Kirkwall...

And MABARI!!!! (I finally get a mabari in DAI, even if it isn't the IQs...)

I brainstormed all the ways people can continue fighting if they want to, even with that. Archer's the hardest, but you can switch to cross bow. Or put Dagna on the problem...

I haven't seen Sera's slide yet, but cool to know Inky gets something in it! Is it a little crossbow? That sounds adorable!

 

One good thing this complication did was that it sent me into a vortex of research for references to how archery would historically work for disabled persons, before the modern contraptions we see today in paralympic sport were around. Some very interesting ideas there.

 

I thought about Ari switching to crossbows, but there's still the issue of reloading it one-armed between shots mid-combat. Then that gave me ideas about Varric and Bianca agreeing to replicate their revolutionary but super dangerous invention of an automated, self-reloading crossbow just this once, for the Inquisitor's sake and everything she did for them, everything she sacrificed for the world etc, and that actually made me happy to have Varric around, so there's that.

 

I really like the idea now, Sera and Varric and Three Eyes (and Bianca and Dagna too) putting their heads together to come up with some custom contraption for Inky. Even if she won't fight much anymore and it's just for sport, to practice the old hobby, I like Ari still having some way to shoot. The archery was such a crucial element for building her character when I was coming up with her character concept and backstory that it's hard to imagine it just gone.
