I didn't! I was speedrunning to get to the ending already, so I really wasn't very thorought. But I'll definitely make sure to talk to her both before and after it when I re-play this on my ~final~ playthrough, thanks for the heads up!

That's exactly the kind of reactivity I wanted to see from Cullen regarding the Templars once he left, the kind of empathy and compassion for the people whose shoes he's been on that I expected out of his character in the main game.
Maker, finally I can see the full picture of Cullen that I wanted to see in this game. It comes late, but I knew it had to still be there in him somewhere. I can accept that he was just too focused on the Inquisition and his own recovery to see the larger picture during the main campaign, but once things settled down he realized he had to do more for his own than just wash his hands off them. Good, good. So good.
lmao it's a good thing you can't see me, I actually teared up about this. This here, this is the Cullen I love. That's definitely becoming my official headcanon as what he does even if romanced, once he and Inky retire to do "good work on their own terms," as the slide says. He has the money, the contacts and the means to do that now, and it's such a perfect conclusion to his larger character arc.
Perfect.

SPOILER
I started out being disappointed that I missed so much in Rhiannon's playthrough (ending up with Bull's betrayal, not having Blackwall at all in the DLC, and not being friends with everybody to get all of their extra content - I got pretty much nothing in the DLC from Cole, Sera or Iron Bull)...but the more I think about it, the more it fits her. She had only a few close friends because her duty kept her from opening up. She didn't follow her heart...she followed her sense of duty and what she thought was right, even if that meant going against what she wanted to do. She didn't want Bull to have to sacrifice the Chargers, but she genuinely thought the Inquisition needed the alliance and was willing to make the sacrifice. In the end, all the sacrifices she made piled up and that final betrayal was the last straw. It broke her heart. I'm not sure what she would have done if she didn't have her two besties (Cass and Dorian) and the love of her life at her side.
It will be interesting to see how things end up now that I'm invested fully in Theo's playthrough. Oh, and yay for new warpaint for my Reaver chick!
